I have had an great experience! After taking my cars to a guy down in Morain, I had to redo A LOT of his previous “work”. He left things off or didn’t even do the work at all!! I appreciate Dave n his crew they came out and took their time IN MY DRIVEWAY! After being taken for literally thousands I have not been very trusting of ANYONE!! Dave is always responsive; He might not be able to get to me that same day, but I know he does try to. He doesn’t keep my car for literally 6 plus months getting things “done”. I am glad his business is booming. He’s done good work and I like him; I just don’t like him to be on my speed dial.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! I am a person that does not review much, but this man cost me over $8,000. He had my car for over 5 months and supposedly did an engine swap, down pipe, BCM module, and did none of it! Do not contact this scam of a business, because it needs to be shut down as soon as possible. He lied to me for over 5 months and on top of that, he had a guy who wasn’t even a mechanic work on my vehicle! He is super unprofessional, emotionally unstable and trauma dumps you on text to make you feel bad for him so he can take your money. He is a liar and I have the public interest when I say please do not come here for the sake of your family, your money, and your vehicle!

I reached out after searching for Mobile Mechanics on Google in the New Carlisle Area about an issue with a CV Axle my wife Peggy had on her 2008 Ford Focus SE. David scheduled a time with me to come and look at the issue and maybe fix the issue. He showed up exactly around the time that he scheduled with me. He looked at the issue on my wife's car on why the CV Axle kept popping out and it was none other than come to find out that the CV Axle my wife's friend bought was the wrong CV Axle for her car it was 3 inches too short so David took the New one out which was too short by like I said 3 inches an put the original one back in that was the correct size. He only charged me $100 for his service fee plus he had the original back into my wife's car in a matter or 16 minutes and was off to his next appointment with a customer. I strongly recommend using this Area uto Mechanic of New Carlisle for all my future auto issues on any of my cars plus I made a new friend with David. He definitely knows his stuff.

I never expected to leave a negative review, but I feel obligated to share this so others can be cautious. I brought my 2018 Jeep Wrangler here with only a minor oil leak. The car was fully drivable — I personally drove it to his lot. The next day, he claimed my engine was “blown,” which did not match the condition of the vehicle when I dropped it off. I repeatedly asked him to store my car inside because it had valuable accessories and I was concerned about theft. He assured me it was safe and that cameras were present. Three days later, he asked if I had picked up my car. I had not. He then told me my vehicle had been stolen — and that it had been missing for three days without being reported. He had the only set of keys. When I asked him to report it to his insurance since the car was in his custody, he became hostile and refused. He told me, “It’s not like your car is a ’69 Corvette. It’s not irreplaceable. Just move on.” There were no working cameras, no timely police report, and no responsibility taken. I had to file through my own insurance. This caused me serious financial and emotional stress. Please be extremely careful leaving Your vehicle to this man. And anybody who asks for receipts, I still have his messages and police report and everything. I just can’t share here because of identity confidentiality . Also be mindful he has Sam auto space too
