Went in for a replacement muffler hook. They cut off the rusty flange and welded a pipe on there. When I said I wanted a new flange on there, they said they would order the part and not charge me labor. The wrong part came, so they just offered to leave it without a flange and attach any replacement muffler for free in the future. They even fixed a problem from a previous repair for free. Very good customer service and personable feel. Would recommend.

Shoutout to Diego for having such a great and welcoming attitude! Got an O2 sensor replaced, and they took care of a misfire my car was having, which turned out to be the fuel injector. I called ahead as I wasn't sure if I needed an appointment, but either way was helpful as he told me about when it would be ready. Very professional service, didn't try to sell me on parts or other that wasn't needed, very satisfied with the overall experience. Highly recommended!

Cheapest place to do anything in town! Plus comes with a warranty! They are very honest as well, after getting my car looked at by Leavitt I took it there since it was about half the price to get everything done on it. When they looked at everything Leavitt said needed to be fixed they called me in the shop to show me that a couple of the things Leavitt said needed to be done wasn’t actually in need of repair at all and explained everything well to me. I only go here now for my car repairs now and have already a few times and everytime they have been great to work with.

I have been to Economy Auto twice and both times I have been very impressed. They diagnosed an electrical problem and put in a new alternator which took care of the problem. My parents paid $150 more for the same service for the same car. Recently they installed new front brakes and replaced an engine gasket that was leaking oil. So far, I have been happy with the results. They have wonderful customer service.

I love this place they are very reasonably priced and are always willing to work with your budget. I’ve gone there for my wheel bearing, to fix an oil leak, to rotate and balance my tires, and for regular oil changes. I love my car it’s my baby and they always take really good care of it and me. The Toyota dealership wouldn't repair my broken muffler pipe, they would only replace the entire exhaust system for at least $1,500. Economy Auto Repair charged me $90 for the new segment and labor! They were very efficient and professional. I will definitely be using them again!

I needed to get my engine replaced and these guys were definitely the best priced out of multiple places I checked at. Not only that but when they tell you what price it will be they keep that price, they don't add anything to it like other mechanics will. The people there were very honest and real about everything. When my transmission also needed to be replaced they were so kind and willing to work with me to help me out and make sure I was taken care of. Martin, the mechanic, knows what he is doing and is an amazing person.

So i came to this shop with a alternator and oil leak on my 02 Nissan frontier supercharged and been having little issues and such here and there. never getting the full power of my truck.. that was until Diego and the Techs here figured out so many sensor and wire issues the previous owner had neglected and worked with me in the best time and manor i have experienced from a mechanic shop. The prices were more then fair and they explained everything and why it should be done. and let me tell you. ALL of my vehicles will now come to this shop. I not only highly recommend them to you but say i would put the service and techs here above almost anyone else!

Avoid these guys like the plague. I was having engine misfires on my truck so I took it in here and they charged me $213 to run “diagnostics”, then came back and quoted me $2700 for a head gasket replacement(and recommended I do the other one as well for a total of $3500). I was highly suspicious of their diagnosis (engine wasn’t overheating, no coolant in engine or exhaust) so I took it to Auto Bahn for a second opinion- turns out it was a timing chain issue and they got me all fixed up. These guys would have charged me $3500 to fix a non issue. I attached a picture of their quote. Save your time and money and find an honest, knowledgeable mechanic. Auto Bahn was fantastic, and fairly priced as well. edit: The manager ended up calling me up and offered a refund after seeing my review. I appreciate this gesture as it shows that they want to satisfy their customers. Changing my review to 3 stars, as I still am doubtful about their mechanical competence, but at least they have good customer service.

Update: Diego called to discuss my review, he apologized for the impression they gave me and said that he understands where I'm coming from putting himself in my shoes. He promised that the starter wasn't working and he could show me the security footage if I'd like. He also said that I could take it into another shop and they would be able to see marks showing that economy had put leads on the starter and tested it. He also pointed out that their leads may have cleaned off the connections so that it's working now. I was still unsure if it was bad and worried about getting stranded this week on my trip, so I took it to AutoZone and had them check the starter, battery and alternator. They said everything is running properly and the alternator is reading 13.8 volts now. I also took it to Big O the next day to have the tires rotated and had them take a look while they were working on it. They said everything was testing good. It appears they did a good job on the alternator repair, but I'm still not seeing any issues with the starter. I'm going to leave the review at 3 stars because I'm still skeptical, but I don't know for sure if they tried to upsell me. They did good work though. I wanted to provide as many details as possible so others can decide for themselves based on my experience. Original: I took my car into my regular mechanic for a full inspection before a cross country road trip and they informed me that my alternator was putting out low voltage. They let me know that the only reason my car was still starting was because the battery was newer and still holding voltage. It wasn't an emergency, but I wanted to take care of it to prevent getting stranded on my trip. Unfortunately my normal, trusted mechanic didn't have an alternator in stock and wouldn't be able to get one before I was leaving. I called around and Economy Auto repair was the only shop that had one in stock and could get it done before I needed to leave. They were on the higher end of price as well, but I needed it done. I dropped off my car with the key the night before and the next day they called me to inform me that the car was having trouble starting. They said that they tried jumping it and that didn't work because it wasn't the battery or alternator. They said after "20 tries of it clicking" it finally started. They said that I needed a new starter as well as the alternator and the starter would cost me $380 additional. I told them that was strange because I hadn't been having any issues with it starting at all, and thought it was strange that it would go from no issues to 20 tries to start it overnight. I had started the car probably 6 times throughout the day before with no issues. It has never clicked for me before, it either starts right up, or rarely is dead, but then it starts immediately with a jumpstart. They did offer to try and get it to not start again and I could come to the shop and see it not starting myself or send me a video, but I was at work. I told them to just do the alternator and I would consider the starter if it was still having issues after. When I went to pick it up I asked if it was still having trouble starting and they said it had been starting up fine, but they swore that it hadn't that morning. I felt like they assumed that I'd been having issues getting it to start and that was why I had the battery and alternator checked. They probably thought it was an easy upsell if I'd been having trouble getting the car to start, but I hadn't. I haven't had any issues with my vehicle since the work they did, and it's still starting great. From what I can tell they did good work on what I asked them to do, but they lost my trust by what I felt was an unnecessary upsell. I will update this if I do end up having issues with the starter. I'm giving 3 stars because they got the job done quickly and seems to be done well. They also called multiple times and kept me updated and answered their phone every time I called. Just uneasy about the starter situation and the price was higher than other shops.

I needed my exhaust system fixed and looking at some other issues coming up. Before I took it in, I read over many reviews here. I am on the side that they are great communicators and I was up on the whole process. They fixed it, made there recommendations that I asked about. And they were honest and forward with everything that I inquired about. I personally recommend them to anyone wanting to find an honest mechanic.
