I took my Buick Lesabre to Eds on the Saturday before Memorial day to have new brake pads and rotorts put on. I made what felt like a million phone calls that morning looking for not only the best price but for someone who would actually be able to do the service that day. I explained to Ed that I was on a strict time schedule and I also had a very sleepy and crabby baby. Originally he asked me to bring car in and drop off so they could do the work and call me when my car was finished. So instead of sitting there waiting for my car to be finished (had no transportation to go anywhere else in meantime) he told me to take my son home so I could lay him down and come back at 3pm so I would only wait for and hour when it was done. I love the family environment and every one was very nice and accommodating. That same day I paid for an oil change and due to the time and the holiday weekend he asked me to come back on Tuesday morning. I was unable to take my car back on the following tues d/t some family issues. I stopped in about 3 weeks later to ask if they could do the oil change then and was informed that they only do oil changes in the early am. I explained that it was very difficult for me to get anywhere early am d/t my work sched. So ed told me I could bring my car back mid morning the next day. I was still unable to make that time and stopped in about a week later and explained my situation and Ed not only gave me a full refund no questions asked but also gave me a free oil change next time. Several weeks later I called back to get an estimate on replacing both lower control arms on my car and my only complaint was that by time my call was returned I already had my car being fixed by Cruz auto which is in the back of a small car lot on Broadway across from scorchers. I only took my car there instead of ed bc I had already missed 2 days of work since my car was not mobile and also since my car was not mobile it was a lot easier to drive my car one block instead of on the others side of town. Looking back I should have just missed another day of work. The work that the owner Jared promised to do in writing was not done and I cant even get him to return my phone calls. So even though I already paid Cruz auto to do a front alignment I am now paying to actually have an alignemenrt done today (the right wasy - or even at all) at eds. Again Ed has arranged to get me in and out. I am very thankful there are still auto shops who take care of the customer!!!!! The right way.

They were able to replace all four of my tires with matching Goodyear tires that were lightly worn for under $200. No hassle, no attempts to sneak in fees, and good service. I would recommend them if you are in the area.

Please do not go to this place! They don’t know what they are doing! I went to other mechanics and they fixed my problems they said I didint have! Please no disrespect but if you don’t want your car messed up don’t go to Ed’s complete auto they just wanted my money. Told me I had a bad rim and tire charge me 180$ and said they don’t know what’s wrong with my car after putting it on! I repeat do not send your car to this shop! I needed outter tirode and wheel-bearings my car is fixed now without the help of them! They even blocked my phone number thinking I wouldnt find a ride back there to pay and get my car!

Ed’s was very professional and friendly. Everyone was helpful and directive. I had an oil change done and they made sure everything else with my car was in good condition. I would definitely recommend giving them a visit.

I noticed that i had a bubble in my tire this morning... Called one place and they didn't have my size. They passed me on to eds. They had several in stock even though i only needed one :-) they gave me directions to find them from work and were very nice. They guys ( and gal) who did the work was very good to work with. Had my jeep in the shop within 5 minutes of me getting here. Not only Will i be getting to class on time... I can take route two to get there!!!! Will be keeping them in mind for future repairs most defiantly :-)

Absolute terrible service, asked about getting a used tires on money and was told they can’t do it til Wednesday and not they are saying they can’t doing it again because they are too busy. The daughter is ridiculously rude and has an attitude problem. I was just there 3 weeks ago getting a used tires and they had almost no business so now I’m wondering why they keep saying they’re too busy to put on a tire when the first time they did it they only took 10 minutes to do it. Will NOT be a recurring customer .

Sent my truck to Ed,s for an alignment. A short time later Ed called and said he could not align it. Ed said that it needed parts that were worn out. I own a auto body shop and all parts related to steering were replaced and all that was left was the wheel alignment. I advised Ed that these parts in question were just replaced. He said it needed the left king pin and a new steering gear. I told him Ill pick up the truck and do not do anything else to it. I then took the truck to Rays Auto and Truck in Avon. They found nothing wrong with the steering parts that Ed said it needed and did the front end alignment with no problems. Truck drives perfect now. Its obvious to me that Ed was possibly trying to convince me the truck needed more work prior to doing the alignment and that he could handle it. I do not recommend taking your vehicle to Ed.s Auto Repair

What I especially like is they explain everything there about to do on your car. if it's a go you will not be disappointed they made me feel very comfortable great with prices all the times best in town. everytime I use to call around for estimates they were always the best in pricing .so now I don't have to call around, I just go straight to them. thanks pop's n pam keep up the great work faithfully your customer A+A+A+

I've taken several cars to this repair shop and the work is always professional and cheaper then any other place around. The owner, Ed, is very friendly and his employees are extremely knowledgeable and considerate. I always recommend this place to everyone who is having car troubles. Edit: They have moved their shop to 1809 Broadway Ave, Lorain, OH 44052

I should have read reviews before I went here. I had a power steering leak. Went to get an estimate and was told I had a hole in my line. It came to 306.00. Left my car at 9am didn't get it back til 4. When I got there I was told I had a pen hole in another steering line. This time 305.00. I had the work done. When I get there she tells me the other line has a hole in it and this cost 278.00. I just spent 600.00 for 2 supposedly power steering lines, and I'm still pouring power steering fluid in my truck. What kind of business is this? All of them need to be put to sleep, even the retarded one.

Called Ed's yesterday about used tires and he gave me 2 quotes over the phone. He told me I didnt need an appointment for tires just to come in. I went up there at 10 this morning and was out by 10.30. He told me he hates to have people wait. He had 2 mechanics on duty and both of them were working on other cars and stopped to get mine in and out. When I paid it was exactly what he quoted me. The price was excellent for 4 used tires. He was a genuinely nice guy.. I will absolutely be going back for anything else my car needs even though he is in another city. I would highly recommend them to anyone of my family or friends. Nice job Ed you just got a new customer for life!

I have gone here several times and the staff are always friendly. They have told me it'd be a couple to a few days before my car would be done, but I have gotten a call the day after I drop it off that it's finished! I have called around for pricing, but nobody has beat them yet. Even if someone had beaten their prices, I would still go to this shop because of the service quality their honesty.

I took my late 90’s van to have brake lines replaced. They inspected the lines and told me exactly what needed to be replaced. They gave me an estimate, stuck to it with no additional charges and the job was completed in a time frame that was good with me. I was very satisfied with the work that was done. The price was reasonable, and I will continue to patronize Ed’s Complete Auto Repair for any of my auto repair jobs. I also would recommend this shop.

Family owned and operated. I have been going to Ed's Complete Auto Repair for years! There are 3 reasons I will only do business with Ed and that is price, quality, and most of all HONESTY! I read other reviews and wonder what they expect as I have shopped around and Ed's prices are so fair that I wonder how he even turns a profit! With that being said to each his own, but if you want the best price around(By Far!!!) and to support a local family business then this is the auto repair shop for you!

Ed and his daughter are very professional and honest. I thought I needed much more work on my vehicle and they were able to inspect and find it was something else, and less expensive. They are out to give the best price and service so that when you do need additional work, they will fix what is really wrong. Thanks for all your service and we look forward to working with you in the future.

I bought two frames from them and they told me they would last me at least a year, but after only a week I had to replace them.
