I cannot recommend EMF Auto highly enough! I recently purchased a vehicle from CarMax and was relying on their mechanic-referral service, whose referrals turned out to be both disappointing and wildly expensive. I found EMF Auto via Yelp, along with a few other mechanics. Martin at EMF was incredibly prompt in getting back to me with a VERY reasonable quote (for brake pad/rotor replacement). I decided to give them a shot and took my car in for service the next day. Not only did EMF honour the quote they initially provided, they even finished the work earlier than projected! Both Martin and his brother Eric were friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, HONEST! Never once did they try to upsell on parts or service I didn’t actually need. It’s very clear that these two gentlemen are extremely invested in their business, their customers, and providing the best possible service. I live in the SFV, so Santa Clarita is a wee bit of a drive for me. Even so, I’ve decided to make these guys my regular, go-to mechanics. I like to think that I have high standards, and these gentlemen absolutely met and even exceeded them. So, if you’re looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, helpful, HONEST mechanic, you need to head over to EMF Auto. You will not be disappointed.

I am beyond satisfied. This was the third time I have chosen EMF Auto to work on my car and I'm serious when I say that they're my heroes. I was dealing with a smog check nightmare when I brought my car in. Eric is so thorough and meticulous and fixed something that no one else could. Moving to a different city has always its challenges. Finding an honest mechanic is part of those challenges as everyone is in need of one. I’ve always prioritized small local businesses and even more if those businesses were owned by young entrepreneurs. I have a chance to Eric and Diego for my 30k Lexus NX hybrid service and although I was hesitant at the beginning I decided to go with them for different reasons: - responsiveness (vary fast and detailed quote and fair pricing) - willingness to accommodate requests to lower my quote - excellent communication skills (online quote, updates via texts and in person talk) - empathizing attitude (they made me feel comfortable on first contact, during and after my transaction) Overall I had an excellent experience and I’ve been advertising this business to anyone in my circle that need anything vehicle related. Oct 2025 Update: Diego and his brother now service each of our vehicles since we began coming to them 3 years ago. Each time the professionalism and the QUALITY of WORK / SERVICE has been excellent. The prices are reasonable and the tech they use is great. It makes for a great customer experience. I recommend to all my friends (even in far away in OC / other parts of SoCal to come here). Keep up the good work and I have an other Subie to bring you have not seen yet! :) 2022: The team here does quality work. Diego welcomed my vehicle and informed all the details I needed to know for our the complete break job, pads, rotors, and all. Done on time too! Been driving the car a lot more recently and quite an improvement overall in the braking and handling department. Cost was reasonable too! Highly recommend!

Was a bit reluctant to add this review, I think it is important to say it. When things go perfectly right, it is easy to leave a great review. But what about when things go *wrong*? Please keep reading. I had some -heavy- work done here. Heavy. Dont want to say exactly what, but it was substantial. Bit of a turm around time, but it is a popular place, and I wasn't just asking for the cabin filter to be changed, so I get that, no issue. The work was great, everything was fine until one night it wasn't. The part catastrophically failed. It wasn't due to poor installation or anything to do with the shop as far as I could tell. It was close to the warranty expry. Didn't seem like any negligence. They just asked me to provide the maintenance records, checked them over, and instead of trying to pass the buck or put the blame on me, they *took care of it!* I was anticipating push back, fast talk, nope. They took care of it. Unbelievably, just stood by their work and made it right! They did tell me I had a weak starter motor. They gave me an estimate, but I had just had the starter replaced at another shop, so I let them know I was going to have it replaced under warranty there. TOTALLY different experience. They couldn't find the records. When I found them, they said they would have to test it. They couldn't do it that day. They had to talk to the technician to verify everything. And it turns out that replaced the starter, charged us, then put the old one back on! No explanation why - infuriating - and sadly, somewhat typical. Not only will they do great work, but they will not jerk you around or disappear after service. They stand behind their work. Very rare in this industry. Thanks guys!

Dropped my car off, got an estimate fast. I needed some brakes, a couple rotators and an oil change. The price was as good as it gets. When they finished, they went over the work they did, and I was left completely confident. They did a great job, it was fast and affordable and they helped me to understand what may be coming up without pressure to make dramatic choices. Their level of professionalism and courtesy was top notch. I’ll be back if I have any problems with my car. I’m super grateful I found these guys.
