summer travails with my family and the cigarette smelling tow truck driver took us to this shop. so glad it wasn't the transmission that was the problem per this shop's advice. but a burst pipe that led to the transmission fluid leaking all over the place and thus caused the burnout. I am so fortunate to have towed away my cherished van to a "more honest" shop who had informed me that it was just a burst pipe. $480 later, my van took us back home. Fortunately Ride-Way did not Ride-Away with the $4000 to $5,000 that they were false charging me with. There are honest shops out there ladies and gentlemen. My Caveat.... Don't go to this one. You've been warned.

My daily driver was having problems that resulted in me having to be without it due to repairs. I took it to Fred at Ride-way who said he would drive it and inspect it. After he did it, he went down a list with me of all the things that will need to addressed drivetrain/suspension-wise on the car. I told him what items I wanted to have done and what items I wanted to do myself. Fortunately, he got the repairs I inquired about done. The car drove very differently when I got it back. The steering felt more responsive, brakes felt pretty solid, and my engine stopped dying on me. It feels like a totally different car and feels better than when I brought it in.

I got my car back yesterday and I was impressed. The car drove like it was brand new. The steering was tight and the ride was smooth. It was my first time there. I went to this place on the recommendation of my wife and Simply Smog. Everyone there was friendly and courteous. I looked at the garage and it was full. That says something. I was there at 8 in the morning and the place was just getting busier and busier, Bottom line, the mechanics did a great job on my car. Sohail was very kind in explaining what they were going to do with my car and the price was fair. The car was ready at the given time. This is a place of honesty, respect and pride in workmanship.

I bought a used Mini shuttle bus and converted it into a mobile dog grooming salon. I had to drive the bus from CA to the top of WA and I wanted to make sure I was going to be safe! I had an appointment at another mechanic that fell through and I was in a panic! I only had days and I needed someone I could trust. Well! Fred and family took care of me Better than I ever before. Service was honest prompt friendly and affordable. I couldn’t believe it!!! Good people and good business does still exist. I even took it in once I got to WA and that mechanic complimented on how well it was serviced!!! Thank you all and I might even drive Big P back down for some service, if ever needed :)

TRULY, the best auto repair shop in the SCV Valley, and for that matter southern CA. I have an older car, and it's a unique journey when things go wrong. Where do I start? Fred the owner is honest and a sympathetic guy. My car needed some serious work. After the initial sticker shock, I did some homework and found he was very fair. I had his shop do the work. This 2008 Hyundai drives like a new car. The parts and service are top notch, they offer shuttle service and all the free water you can drink. I'm very pleased with this shop.

I have used this company for tire service and automotive, I was satisfied with every step of the process. They shuttled me home and back to pick up my car. Allowing me to wait in the comfort of my home. I once needed help outside of auto service ( assembling wheelchair) I asked if they could help and I was told right away to bring it in. Within an hour or so I was told it was assembled and ready for pick up. This co has impressed me in more ways than one. Thank you Fred and company.

Our car broke down coming down off the grapevine on a Friday. They were very kind and fit us in their schedule. They did a diagnostic and made sure to get our car fixed in a timely fashion so we were were able to get home and it did not impact our getting back to work. They also paid attention to detail and our car now runs like new! They also had great customer service 🙂

Took my car to this shop because I thought I heard the front brakes grinding. They took the car and checked the brakes. They told me that I needed to replace the brake pads and rotors. They said it would cost $440.00 to change brakes and rotors. I took car to another shop to get second opinion. I was told that there's nothing wrong with brakes or rotors. They even showed me the brake pads and rotors - something that this shop didn't do, they never showed me the problem - and I could see that there was nothing wrong with my brakes or rotors. Just something to think about next time you have these people look at your brakes. Remember, always get a second opinion.

When I got there and pull the tire out of the car and put it up against the wall 4 people seen me standing there for 10 min. Not once did they ask me what I need. I got my tire back in my car and they seen me do it and all 4 of them were standing 6 feet from me and still didn't say nothing to me I left

Amazing service! This isn't the first time I come here. Professional and reliable. Came to get a second opinion about my AC leaking after honda dealership told me that my evaporator (>$2600 )was leaking instead of a condenser, which was under the warranty. 4 hours at the dealer and walked away with horror and believed Honda was lying. 2 hours at Ride Way and they confirmed my suspicion, and showed me photos of the leaking condenser as well as told me that they did not find leaks in the evaporator. This shop has earned my trust and definitely will be back. Even though they didn’t end up fixing my car. They diagnosed the problem, dealt with CarMax warranty for me, and then were honest told me the repair wasn’t worth it since it wasn’t covered under my warranty. I appreciate their honesty and clear communication throughout the process.
