After my check engine light came on, I was concerned and brought my vehicle to Eric’s Car Care. Hani quickly brought it in for diagnostics and identified the issue in no time. They even gave me a ride back to work and picked me up once my car was ready. The service was efficient, convenient, and professional—one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a mechanic shop. I highly recommend them.

I came in for a check engine light and asked for the diagnostic trouble code. No actual code was provided, only a written paragraph stating that my car was in very bad condition and recommending an engine flush. I received a call from the front desk explaining that they would try an engine flush, and if that didn’t work, they would need to “do something else,” without clearly explaining what that would be or providing objective diagnostic data. I was also told that if I did not proceed, I might need a new car. I felt pressured to spend several hundred dollars on a trial-and-error service without being given a clear diagnosis. After getting a second opinion at a Hyundai dealership, they found no active engine issues and confirmed that an engine flush was unnecessary. I’m glad I sought a second opinion before agreeing to this smh!

Personnel were professional and inspections were done timely. Their pricing is high...for one scope they wanted $800 for something that included less than $100 in parts and took my dad and I a little over an hour to fix. For an AC compressor replacement, I found another shop to perform the same job for 60% of Eric's cost

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUTO SHOP! I have the evidence I need. And there are other google reviews with similar issues as mine. That alone speaks volumes of what your auto shop is doing. I brought my vehicle here in November 2025 for a warranty diagnosis and was given inaccurate information. The shop attempted to push a ~$7,000 repair that was later confirmed by a Toyota dealership to be completely unnecessary. Based on this experience, I do not trust their diagnoses or recommendations and would not recommend anyone take their vehicle to this auto shop.

I can’t say enough good things about this car repair shop. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly professional, welcoming, and efficient. They diagnosed the issue quickly, explained everything clearly, and had my car back on the road in no time. While I was waiting, a complete stranger came in for his own car maintenance. They have great customer service. My only issue is that when they fixed my control arms and bearings on my vehicle the first time they stil squeaked. I took it back, they fixed the issue and then not even three weeks later my car started to squeak again from the same issue I originally took it for and fixed again. Not satisfied at all with the work they did again because I still have the problem. They charge a lot but can’t fix the issue the first or second time.

I rarely leave reviews, so this should say a lot. I brought my 2018 Volvo S90 to Eric’s Car Care for an A/C diagnostic because the air was blowing hot. I had a scheduled appointment and dropped my car off around 7:00–7:30 a.m. on Friday, yet I didn’t get my vehicle back until Monday. I also never received an update call—I had to call them myself. While delays can happen, my real concern is the accuracy and honesty of the information I was given. After their inspection, I was told my vehicle needed a new A/C compressor, condenser, and expansion valve, bringing the total repair cost to $6,411.07, including labor. That is a major expense, so I declined the service and sought a second opinion. I then took my car to Alpine Motor Works, where they identified the actual issue: a leaking Freon valve. They replaced the valve and recharged the A/C system, fully resolving the problem for $205.65 total. There is no reasonable explanation for being told I needed over $6,000 in repairs when the real issue was a minor leak. This feels extremely misleading and unprofessional. I was even encouraged to finance the repair and pay off the balance within 90 days, which now feels even more concerning given how unnecessary those repairs turned out to be. Being given such drastically incorrect information after a diagnostic is unacceptable. Customers rely on shops to provide honest assessments, not inflated repair recommendations. I will not be returning, and I strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before committing to major repairs here.

I brought my 2017 Ford Explorer in to have the sway bar links removed and replaced, and the car came out riding great. I’m not sure but to me difference was noticeable right away smoother drive and no more issues. Although I feel like the labor can be overpriced but work is always great. Everyone there was friendly and professional from start to finish. They took the time to answer all my questions without rushing me, which I really appreciated. The staff was patient, clear, and made sure I understood what was being done. Overall, it was a good experience, and I’d feel comfortable bringing my vehicle back for future service.

I went in the shop preparing for a long wait, but was pleasantly surprised to be seen right away. By now the second stresser had kicked in, what was it going to cost? That worry was also not a worry at all when I was told the price. Good there to. The staff was also pleasant and courteous. I had one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with an auto repair shop at Erick’s Car Care. They kept my car the entire day and did absolutely nothing, despite me clearly explaining that I needed the car for a long trip the very next day. That urgency was communicated upfront. They quoted $125 just to “have a look” and diagnose the issue. I clearly told them I would pay once I got the car back, which they agreed to. However, even without charging me, they still failed to inspect the vehicle, provide any diagnosis, or make any progress at all. During the first interaction, they appeared polite and professional, which gave me confidence. Unfortunately, once they had my car, the attitude changed completely. Communication dropped off, responsibility disappeared, and the service became unacceptable. By the end of the day, I was left with wasted time, no answers, and unnecessary stress right before a long planned trip. If they were unable or unwilling to work on the car, they should have been upfront instead of holding my vehicle all day. I even called them on phone twice to make sure the repair is happening This shop shows a lack of professionalism, transparency, and respect for customers’ time. A good first impression means nothing when the follow-through is this poor. I would strongly advise others to avoid Erick’s Car Care, especially if you are on a tight schedule or need dependable service.

I never give 5 stars; however, my experience was wonderful. They fit me in quickly. Blake and Sam were very welcoming. When I explained about the problems I encountered at the dealership during my last service, they understood completely and went over in detail what their technicians found. The dealership said my vehicle needed about $5K worth of work. Eric's Car Repair only found one item costing me about $1,000 (much closer to other quotes I saw). This place is professional and customer oriented. Thanks to all.

Hayden and Ivan were literally incredible! From the moment I walked in, they were thorough, knowledgeable, and so patient with me. They took the time to explain everything about my vehicle without rushing or brushing me off you can tell they truly know their stuff. What really blew me away is that they offered me a free diagnostic test, something most automotive places charge for just to tell you nothing. But not here they were transparent, honest, and genuinely helpful. You don’t see that often! I would 100% recommend this dealership and especially Hayden and Ivan. Their customer service, professionalism, and good energy made the entire experience top tier. They were AWESOME! 👏🏽🚗💯
