I recently took my car to Escobar Auto Service LLC because it started making a very loud noise while driving. I explained to Miguel that my main concern was the sound and I wanted to know what was causing it. After looking at my car, he told me that the problem was the control arm, wheel bearings, and that I also needed new rotors. He gave me a total estimate of $1,700. Miguel then told me that since he had replaced the control arm last year and it was still under warranty, I would only need to pay for the passenger side, which lowered the price to $1,200. Later, he called me again and said he could get rid of the sound for a lower price. This confused me because the entire reason I came in was to fix the sound my car was making. The changing explanations and prices started to make me uncomfortable. When I decided to pick up my car, the final price he mentioned was suddenly $500. The constant price changes from $1,700 to $1,200 to $500 felt very concerning and made it hard to trust the diagnosis. Because of this, I took my car to another shop for a second opinion. They inspected it and told me the only issue was the wheel bearings nothing more and nothing less. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling uneasy due to the inconsistent diagnoses and dramatic price changes. I always recommend getting a second opinion on major repairs, especially when the explanation and pricing keep changing.

I can give a long story but I’m a keep it short and sweet just know they are not very honest people they will keep taking your money very expensive prices over simple work they only care about their own kind and is very rude.

he changed a motor an I asked if he needed me to buy parts he said no he’ll use mine off old motor when came time to picked car up the water pump was leaking then he said u can’t use your old one which was a lie they took my old motor in for the core which I had no problem with but wen i asked him where’s my old motor he couldn’t tell me smh then go’s on to say it will be $450 to change when I jus pay them $375 to work on the car two days b4 them motor went out then not even 4 days later I payed $1000 to change motor an less then two hrs the water pump go’s out an he want another $450 nah I’m cool worse experience ever will never go back

I have a problem with alternator they told me you have to change box fuse also plus 80$ diagnostic 625$ I am glad I did ask someone else instead he did for half price Don’t throw your money away Just don’t do it with this scamer

I usually have good experiences with him but he charged me $140 for putting oil in my car. I’m guessing that it’s due to the fact that I’m a girl. My car also ended up with more monitor lights turned on than what it came in with.

Family values. Good place if you need to get in and out and have your own part. Cash only and labor rates are fair. Key is easy place to get in and out. Saving of time is likely worth fair labor prices(places around area might be 20 percent cheaper or so on labor)

Miguel and his crew are great!! Easy communication, honest, and very efficient in their work! Labor is very affordable. I’ve had my car towed to their shop and they’ve installed an a/c compressor, serpentine tension kit, and water pump. I have not have to return for any issues!! Highly recommend!

Had a short circuit - they were able to get the car running for $500, but the cruise control stopped working, and now - just finding out months later with the snow on the roads - anti-lock brakes no longer work doesn't work!
