I service my cars at European Autoservice for years and I was always getting in my view the best and car-problem-oriented service. This includes a lot of free advice but mainly a clear communication about the car problem. What happened few times was that Tomas was able to identify a real (root-cause) problem I had with my car instead of the one identified by other car repair shop, which ultimately saved me a significant amount of money.

My wife and I have been working with Tomas since 2005. He is honest, hard working and diligent. He has worked on four Audi's and one Saab for us. He is my car psychologist. I first brought him my beloved S-4 Avant just before it came off warranty. Tomas gave me a list of 5 things to have Audi repair. His inspection cost me $100 and the repairs cost Audi $2,500. A few years later I was buying new tires for the same car at a national tire store. They told me my brakes were shot and needed immediate replacement. I called Tomas who laughed at the assessment. I got another two years out of the brakes. When the S-4 died, Tomas sold us a used S-6 Avant and offered to change the transmission from an automatic to 6 speed that you could only get in Europe. Who does that? Tomas does. Lastly, knowing I was missing my S-4 he advised me to try to find a 2008/2009 RS4. I found a near pristine one but the buyer would not budge on price. Brought it to Tomas for a pre-purchase inspection. He identified that rats had been eating some of the hoses and most surprising to the owner that the car had been completely repainted. I got a price reduction then. We have referred lot's of friends to Tomas. If you love your car and want to keep it running without exorbitant dealer charges then Tomas is your mechanic.

I recently got a pre-purchase inspection from European Autoservice when I was shopping for an Audi in the Walnut Creek area. Tomas showed care, expertise, and a willingness to share his knowledge. Tomas was great. I made the appointment well in advance.... I had parts in hand plus mods. He swiftly did the work, withheld doing some mods until I checked to see if it would impair a smog visual check (colored intercooler pipes and phenolic gasket). Appreciated the advise and will be back, since Smog Tech said fine. He'll be getting my business ony stable of German cars. Definitely recommend.

I've been taking my 2007 BMW (and before that my 1999 Volvo) to Tomas for years. I haven't found a problem or issue yet that Tomas doesn't understand, and know how to fix. These are expensive cars to maintain, but Tomas does a good job of keeping costs as low as possible (certainly less expensive than servicing at the dealer), and I don't feel I give up anything in terms of quality. Tomas has always done a good job of estimating costs up-front, and completing repairs when he says they'll be completed. It's great to have an honest and reputable auto service provider here in Walnut Creek.

Tomas has maintained and repaired my family's cars for 21 years. I have never had a reason to doubt his skills as a mechanic or his honesty both with cost, and whether work needs to be done immediately or can wait a bit. He has found and shown me things the dealer mechanics did incorrectly or hurriedly. If you want your car maintained or repaired with more skill and at a better price than the dealer, he is the one to see.
