European Service Center makes car repair easy and stress free especially when so many auto centers struggle to find parts and work on European cars. Prices are fair considering the increased labor and difficulty of these types of vehicles. I would love if their website had a way to check the status of your vehicle while it’s in the shop but honestly they are quite speedy and efficient with their work and it’s always easy to schedule a repair.

I posted a review on yelp. They quoted my repair at $4500 originally and after several days in the shop came back to add additional $1100. If i had know this in the beginning i would have price checked them. I have used them in the past but will never go back. They had my car for over 10 days and the delays were on their inefficiencies. STAY AWAY! I initially rated this shop 1 star, but later updated it to 3 stars after being contacted by CEO Richard, who personally addressed my concerns. I appreciated the proactive response and the fact that the shop now is under new management. However, I’m now revising my review back to one star due to a new issue with the previous work done by the technicians. While driving home today, my car suddenly lost power, with little to no acceleration, and a check engine light. Upon inspecting the car with a friend, we found that the charge pipe was extremely loose, and worse, the engine oil was leaking from the timing cover—something that was supposedly fixed before. This has now turned into a costly problem, possibly damaging the turbocharger. Key Issues - Profit-Driven: This shop prioritizes profit over quality. They cut corners wherever possible to maximize earnings. Their approach seems to be "profit before service." - Nonexistent Communication: They will tell you whatever you want to hear to make you comfortable, but in reality, they mislead you without hesitation. - Management-Run, Not Mechanic-Run: Despite their claims of being an expert european repair shop, don’t be fooled. The manager runs the show, focusing on profits rather than repairs. - Overcharging for Aftermarket Parts: They charge for OEM parts but install cheap aftermarket ones. Even the fluids they use are substandard. - Price Hikes and Faked Labor Hours: Always document your quotes. They tried to hike prices on me and padded labor hours unnecessarily. July 18-23, 2024: I was searching for a reliable mechanic to replace my water pump and fix any other issues with my car. This shop charged a $250 diagnostic fee, and after a quick diagnosis, they sent me photos and videos showing that I needed a water pump, serpentine belt, tensioner, pulley, and repairs for an engine oil leak and control arm bushings. The total estimate was $5,000, and I decided to trust them and get the work done. Unfortunately, that’s when my problems began. The day after I paid thousands of dollars, my A/C stopped working—blowing only hot air. I had never experienced A/C issues before. When I returned, they assured me they hadn’t touched the A/C system and claimed it wasn’t part of the original diagnosis because they "assumed" I already knew about it. I was shocked. They told me the new parts caused the A/C compressor to fail, and I paid another $2,000 to fix the A/C. When I came back a week later, the price had mysteriously increased to $3,000. After confronting them with a screenshot of the original quote, they adjusted the price back without any hesitation. It felt like they were trying to see how much they could get away with. Despite paying another $2,000+, my A/C broke down again within days. This time, it took them a week to “fix” it, and although they didn’t charge me again, the same problem returned shortly after. They also had to warranty out my drive belt system because the aftermarket parts they installed weren’t compatible with my car. After seeking a second opinion, I learned that the parts they were using were not only aftermarket but also of extremely poor quality. The manager, “Tia,” was blatantly dishonest. On one occasion, she claimed technicians were working on my car when, in fact, my car was parked outside untouched. I even confronted her about it, and she made up excuses, claiming they don’t always create repair orders for complimentary work. This was a direct contradiction to what she had said earlier. On my final visit, I spoke with the regional manager, “Anthony.” While he was professional, he didn’t offer any real solutions. He told me to come back when the weather was hotter to test the A/C—despite the fact they had already had my car during 100+ degree days and failed to resolve the issue. Since July, this shop has failed to fix my car, causing delays that made me miss work and charging me for premium parts while installing cheap alternatives. Their poor communication, dishonesty, and shady business practices have caused me nothing but stress.

I swore by this shop up until today! Apparently they are under new management & have an entirely new staff. I’ve spent 10s of thousands of dollars here between out of pocket costs and warranty charges. I had a timing gasket replaced by them in July after waiting nearly 6 months for the part. I took my car in Tuesday because I noticed it’s leaking oil in my garage. Now it’s a timing cover plug that needs to be replaced. Mind you the prior repair that was over $3,000 supposedly came with a 36,000 mile guarantee. The part is $8.42 cents and it’s literally a small piece on plastic that needs to clamp on. They quoted me $410.00 for the labor. Make it make sense. I’ve been calling for an update for the last 48 hours. I can never talk to the same person twice & NO ONE in the office seems to know what they’re talking about. Had I known my former service advisor (Tia) no longer worked here prior to today…. I would’ve thought twice about taking my car back here. Do yourself a favor & STAY away!
