I called EVERYWHERE- every Firestone location and they all were so surprised I was asking for someone to diagnose why my check engine light was on. Some people said it would take days to get a “technician to look at it”. I was super disappointed and felt hopeless. God willing I found John and he came out RIGHT AWAY and helped us fix our check engine light issue and was so amazing. Wonderful, amazing customer service that you don’t see very often. I will continue to use him anytime we have vehicle issues!! Thank you John!!!

Can't speak to the quality of work performed, but even with extensive communication it seemed impossible to get anything scheduled. The hassle of scheduling a time and day alone makes me not want to recommend these services. If they were to simply say they were too busy or the job wasn't worth their time I could work with that. But the communication was just poor.

I highly, highly recommend using Chris, my truck has been down for three days- I have replaced $1000 worth of parts to figure out why my truck wasn’t getting any spark after running just fine before I had my master cylinder changed. Within 20 minutes- Chris was able to find the problem and it was my distributor cap wire harness plug had been broke some how. He diagnosed the issue, he gave me some recommendations, and he was efficient and affordable- and was able to come to me within a hour of service call. Will 10/10 use Chris again for any of my mechanic, on call needs. Thank you again Chris for helping me find the issue after 2 days of searching for loose wires, replacing my battery, my coil, coil wire, sparks, ignition module, master cylinder, spark plug wires, and having two other people who have a background in cars searching for the problem, obviously we looked closer to the master cylinder because that’s what was replaced, but Chris was more thorough and found the culprit. Thanks to Chris, I have my specialty part ordered and have soldered my current wires until my new part shows up- and because of his diagnosis, thoroughness, rapid response time, I am on the road again.

We are so grateful for Chris at Excellence Mobile repair. We needed a wheel bearing replaced on our travel trailer when we were headed home from a camping trip. Chris was thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to get the necessary parts for us and get to us within an hour. He quickly got the bearing changed and we were back on the road. The cost was reasonable as well. Highly recommend.

He worked quickly and efficiently and was honest about what he was and wasn't able to do. Bonus that my car didn't have to be towed. Do not call this guy unless you want to be scammed. I called this guy after another mechanic was trying to charge me in insane price to replace spark plugs. He came out fast did a diagnostic test on my vehicle and it read it was misfiring on the 5th cylinder. So we agreed for him to replace the spark plug and ignition coil on the 5th cylinder. I paid him $430 to do it. Right away I took it on a test drive and it was still misfiring. I didn’t drive it until I was able to afford to take it to get looked at again because I had a bad feeling. Yesterday I take it into a shop and it was still misfiring on the 5th cylinder they replaced the spark plug and ignition coil he supposedly changed and thanks to them my car is now running well. the spark plug and ignition coil on the 5th cylinder that this guy apparently changed is from the original manufacturer with there serial numbers clearly he did not do the work he was paid to do. This man took over $400 from me to replace a spark plug and ignition coil on the 5th cylinder that he never replaced. Which like for a lot of people is a lot of money especially right before the holidays. He confirmed that he replaced them when I contact him about doing the other spark plugs but once I told him what happened he tried to back track and now hasn’t responded. Do not use this guy unless you want to be taken advantage of and ripped off. I needed to get my vehicle running so I could get my special needs daughter to and from her appointments which he was aware of even talked about his special needs sister her passed. I contacted him about this and he pretty much said he would get back to me when he wasn’t driving that was over 24hrs ago. You would think after something like this happening if it was some shorta mistake he would want to get it straightened out right away. This guy has zero morals and integrity and I can’t express it enough do not hire this man. I will see you in small claims court after pressing criminal charges what you did is fraud and deception to take payment for a job you didn’t complete and posting in every site possible to make everyone aware of what you did. You will not get away with this. Looking forward to seeing how your going to try to twist this and take zero responsibility just like what was done on the other negative reviews.

My car wouldn’t start for work this morning and I didn’t know what to do. It wasn’t a dead battery or anything, it was something the average person couldn’t diagnose. My wife looked up mobile mechanics and found Chris and sent it to me. I called him and he was with a client but immediately sent me a text saying he would call me back and did promptly. He was at my house within the hour on short notice. Realized it was the fuel pump less than 10 minutes upon arrival. He called the supply house and checked pricing. He went and picked up the part because I had no way to get it myself and came back and installed it like he does it 100 times a day. Tested everything and made sure it would start up and that there were no other issues. He also pointed out to me that I needed to get some new tires and took the time to show me how to read the manufactures date. He went out of his way to teach me what he could while he was here. His pricing was less than half of what someone else would have charged. Not only is he a great mechanic he is a genuinely good man and cares about your situation and understands the impact something like this has on someone. I can tell he enjoys doing his job not only for the monetary aspect, but more so for the ability to help others. As long as I am in the area and Chris is still doing his thing he will be the only one I car to work on my vehicle. 10 for 10 would recommend.

Chris was very easy to get ahold of, I called him yesterday evening and we talked about what services I was needing done. He’s very clear and transparent about what does/doesn’t truly need to be replaced. He’s extremely knowledgeable about the cars and their functions and I learned a lot just from asking him some questions. He was able to come out the next morning to swap out the spark plugs and test my ignition coils. Only one ignition coil needed to be replaced which a different place I was quoted, they said they were all bad and needed to be replaced so Chris saved me hundreds of dollars to replace things that weren’t necessary. He noticed there was a leak from my radiator, he was hoping it was as easy as just getting better sealing clamp but turned out it was a hairline crack in the radiator— Chris was able to get the new radiator priced, picked up and installed that afternoon! His pricing was reasonable and he did a great job, my car no longer threw the engine misfire codes it did before and drives smooth now! Highly recommend :)

I had a great experience with this mobile mechanic and highly recommend him. I bought a used car and ran into several issues right away — check engine light, brake concerns, and a lot of anxiety about what could be wrong. He came out quickly, diagnosed everything thoroughly, and explained things in a way that made me feel comfortable and informed. He found the real problem (a failed ignition coil), corrected a brake booster hose issue, and made sure the car was safe to drive again. The car now runs smooth, quiet, and the brakes feel perfect. The price was very fair for the work and the peace of mind he gave me. If you need an honest, knowledgeable, and reliable mechanic who comes to you, I absolutely recommend him!
