I found myself in a spot needed attention on my Toyota Tacoma (not even a Chevy) they took excellent care of me and resolved my minor issue, charged a reasonable fee. John and the team in service are outstanding.

I went to see about a part for my car. The part was more than I expected. I did get some Wipers for my car though. Everyone was nice. Especially the gentleman who works in the Service Department first Cubby.

My family has purchased two cars from this dealership and both cars have had multiple problems within a year of getting it from this place. The staff we dealt with in both occasions have been rude and unhelpful. The used car manager is NO HELP AT ALL . Don't buy used cars from this dealership if you want to continue to pay for ongoing problems after you buy it. Buy a new car from another dealership. They are no help. They're rude and they have no customer service skills.

This has had to be the worst customer service I’ve gotten from a dealership in recent years. I feel disrespected and unheard. I’ll break it down. In May I buy the vehicle from this dealership Thursday 9/24/2020 I get an oil change, Friday 9/25/2020 check engine light comes on. Wednesday 9/30/2020 I set an appointment for today 10/5/2020. Told I’d get a loaner as long as I have a license and full coverage. Now here we go, I get to the dealership let the guy know from the jump, yo my license is expired and I’m unable to renew it because I have to go to court to resolve and identity theft situation. He says they can’t do a loaner, I understand and I ask them if they’d be able to Uber me home. He comes back and declines and says that they can’t do it. We go back and forth for a bit til it eventually boils down to me saying “so what you’re saying is, I buy a certified vehicle from this location for 10,000+, get my oil changed at this location, then check engine lights comes on and I want my vehicle to be serviced at this location and you’re unable to pay a $50 Uber bill to send me home while you fix a problem I never should’ve had in the first place if this was a certified vehicle that’s been off the lot less than 6 months. “ he says “yeah” so I said they’re useless and he agreed with me. Fast forward after talking with the manager and him telling me a “50 dollar Uber is a big bill” I really feel like the core values are in the wrong place. Y’all could probably do one hell of a job if you serviced your customers just as hard as Pastor and David work in your sales department. - Their solution to this was “drive to a dealership closer to your house and get it serviced there.” Then wouldn’t even bother to call or check to see if one was open for service. Stating “you’d have to call yourself they’re going to need personal information. “ I called. Guess what personal information was needed? “What type of service do you need?” Funny, you ran the diagnostics and told me 2 random codes one time. This service industry is missing out on some of their customer service skills. I won’t be back and I’m disappointed I bought a car here.

I haven't had great experiences at other dealerships, so I cringed when the thought of having to bring my car in for service over something that was covered under warranty. I figured my car would be pushed to the end of the line and be forced to Uber from place to place for the next couple of weeks. BUT! that was NOT the case. John Wright from the beginning handled my claim. John notified me what needed to be done and gave me a respectable time frame. John delivered and has now made me see dealership services in a different light. There's no doubt in my mind that the employees at Norman Frede Chevrolet are on top of their game. Thank you guys for the extremely quick service. You have my car running new again

Norman Frede is the only one to ever work on my 2015 Silverado. They do a great job. From oil change to A/C repair under warranty. I wouldn’t think of using anyone else. You can get an oil change and tires rotated for about the same price as a quickie lube in less than an hour. Inspection sticker, wiper blades. By qualified technicians. Why would I ever go somewhere else. They are polite and have a great waiting room.

Never fails I can never get ahold of anyone from the dealership. No matter how many voicemails I leave I never get a phone call returned. The older lady who is the receptionist is very rude. Your job is customer service and if it bothers you so much to assist and help the customers who provide your paycheck maybe you need a different career. And instead of making TikTok videos and posting y'all should learn how to train your employees on answering phones, and providing better customer service.

Booked my first free oil change for my GMC truck, showed up and dropped it off, got a call half way home and they wouldnt do a gmc, had to be a chevy vehicle. But when i called, no one said anything about that even when i gave her the vin number. Also i was supposed to get tire rotation too, but they wouldnt rotate them because they were aftermarket wheels and tires. Took to Beck and Masten and they took care of all of it, including rotations in an hour. NF has lost my business, and i just got a new corvette too, but I will take it elsewhere.

I am so very grateful to Service Tech Earl (I didn’t get his last name) and Service Advisor Anna Kalil! As I was on my way to Baytown , my Jeep began to jerk and several warning lights appeared. It would only go a few miles an hour, so I pulled into the first place available, which was Norman Frede Chevrolet’s Service Center. I asked Anna if there was someone who could check the battery cables and connections as we’d had problems with that before but my husband was working out of town and I didn’t know what to do. I explained that I had been trying to make it to a parts store to have them look at the battery, but was afraid to drive it any farther. She called Earl to take a look at it. Meanwhile, she showed me to their very nice comfortable waiting lounge and offered me some coffee while I waited. Earl wasn’t gone for very long. I had my husband on the phone so I put him on speakerphone while Earl explained what he did. After listening to my husband, he took it back to the shop and made another quick adjustment. I asked what I owed them, and they said there was no charge! This was very unexpected as you don’t find this kind of customer service very often anymore. Of course I thanked them both profusely! Anna could tell how stressed I was when I arrived, so she even asked if she could hug me. Let me tell you, that was the nicest thing that has happened to me in a long time! This might sound “corny” but this experience with Anna and Earl renewed my faith in both customer service and the human spirit.

Had an appointment for 11 am to get the car serviced. Oil change, tire rotation, and it's past 1 pm now and they still haven't started. The guy said maybe 30 minutes, an hour at the most. It's been over 2 hours and they still haven't started and they have multiple bays open with multiple people just standing around. I literally only saw 1 guy working the whole time and I was sitting outside the service department watching the whole time and people who worked there were going on and out constantly but not one stopped to even ask anything. What's the point of making an appointment when you don't even take that person before others? If it wasn't free, I would have just left. I'm not coming back for any of the other free ones.

Took my car in for a check engine light, first time not under warranty. Under warranty service and all was great, but, now the people were nice and attentive, but called me and said I would need to pay 2100.00 dollars for a cracked pcv pipe. I said nah and got my car. Tool it to a actual mechanic shop and they showed me everything on the manifold, lines pcvs etc... no cracks whatsoever ever. It was dirty and had a clogg , cost me 150.00 in out light off , so disappointed in Norman frede.

Definitely some integrity issues here. 1) I brought the vehicle in for an oil change and reported a leaky tire. The comment back from service department was the tire was unrepairable and needed to be replaced. I was Leary because I knew where the nail was in the tire, so I denied the service and brought it to Discount Tire and they made the repair without any issue. I inquired on the worthiness of the tire and their report was the tire was in good condition...strike one Norman Frede. 2) brought the vehicle in for an inspection and reported a check engine light on, the service person said " the light isn't currently on, don't worry about it ." Not liking that answer we insisted that it be looked into in which case it was and diagnosed as needing a repair. That would have otherwise been dismissed. Strike 2 Norman Frede. 3) Prior to that inspection we noticed their was leaking coolant under the vehicle and that also was not identified during inspection or during previous oil changes (where they typically would perform some inspections). I brought the vehicle back and surprise surprise the vehicle warranty just expired that covered that specific part and now the repair is going to cost me $2000 plus. Strike 3 Norman Frede. There seems to be some dishonesty afoot here. The shame is we felt good about our purchase initially and like the vehicle but the service department...questionable.

I recently purchased a 2020 Camero from Norman Frede. This is the second vehicle purchased from them. Tab and Greg made this process very simple. Norman Frede was onsite to say hello. Loved the customer service from everyone I met!

I called and spoke with Trevor in service regarding a brake issue with my 2017 Silverado. He said that if I could get it to him in the morning he should be able to have it done by the end of the day. When I dropped it off, Trevor offered to get me a ride to wherever I needed to go. I opted to wait in the customer lounge for a little while until my sister could pick me up. Before I knew it Trevor came in and said my truck was ready. They had it done by noon. Great service. Great experience. Will definitely be back. 👍👍

I reached out through their website on a truck that we knew we wanted. I was contacted straight away by a fantastic sales Rep., Jared. G. After explaining what we wanted, we came in test drove it and explained it would be a few days. Jared was fantastic and checking in, and no pressure tactics. We have had a couple horrible experiences at other Chevy dealerships in the area (Bayway & Classic) high sales tactics and lies just to get you in the door. Norman Frede was the total opposite. Jared had the truck we picked out, detailed and all the paperwork ready for us. We were in and out in under an hour. No haggle, fantastic pricing. We would highly recommend Norman Fred, there is a reason they have been in the same location for a few decades now. My parents have bought 5 vehicles from them and now we are a part of the Norman Frede Chevy family too!

Brought my truck in for service, knew i needed my rear air ride suspension fixed. They said I also needed some brake work and some front suspension, an alignment, and tire rotate. You would think with all of that work related to my tires, they would have noticed the nail sticking out of one of them. Or that when doing the rotate they would have reset the location of the tire pressure sensors. I have been using this dealership for years with the old owners, but the quality over my last few visits has not been impressive.

Called to make an appointment and asked if they had Corvette technicians for my C8, and they seemed confused but gave me a date and time. I showed up, and the service advisor I made the appointment isn't there, so another one talks to me. I said I have an appointment, and he tells me appointments are only to talk to a service advisor. What's the point of appointments then? Then tells me the bays are full and it'll be at least 3-5 days before they can look at my Vette for warranty work. I tell them that I cant leave my car without a loaner, and ask them to call me when they're ready, since I work 10 min away. They never called of course. I'm gonna continue taking my Vette to Classic Chevy Sugarland, even though it's far, because at least they keep their appointments and have certified techs.
