Oil change and alignment for $500 is criminal. Every conversation is an upsell. Find another place you can trust. Way overpriced.

Brought in my car without an appointment for an engine problem the night before. They were able to squeeze me in the same day. Communication was good, with a phone call and written estimate link sent by text. The cost was higher than expected but some research online said it was reasonable for 2024 inflation economy.

Thank you Junior for your speedy service plugging my tire so I could get to work on time! Junior was quick to help, professional, and knew just the fix. I will say I felt a bit overcharged at $40 for a tire plug, but I also was in a bind and was thinking Iβd have to pay $200 for a new tire.

Good work, thorough and fast. Friendly staff. Would be 5 stars except the labor rate is ridiculously high - $180/hr. Much over the market rate. Went in for an oil change ($90) and needed solenoid replaced ($254 + $360 labor). Likely to go elsewhere in the future.

I moved into the apartment across the street from this location 3 years ago and decided to take my car there for an oil change because it was convenient. Because of their customer service and efficient work, this is the only place I've taken my car for maintenance since. 2 years ago they replaced my battery and unfortunately that battery already needs to replaced. Although the warranty on the battery was only for 18 months, they decided to replace it free of charge with a better battery since other customers have also had issues with the original battery. They really go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and I don't feel like they are trying to scam me out of more money. I highly recommend this place.

very disappointed with the service. Had to bring my vehicle back twice and NEVER got a call from them for updates or to pick up my car. I will not go back to this shop for any service.

If you are not brainless and oblivious to anything cars, this place is a true MONEY PIT, WASTE $$$$$$$. The shop manager or whatever he is named "Mo" is very dazed and confused at all times like the other reviews mentioned. His shop doesn't keep records of vehicle work. He asked me if i remember what was done by him to my vehicle. When I eventually asked why they wouldn't properly diagnose an A/C problem before recommending a random repair that did not solve the problem, his response was "You got what you paid for" whatever that means. He also said "I dont want to touch this car it has too many problems" which is not true. The truth was, he doesn't know anything about cars. Isnt a mechanic shop where cars with problems go? What the heck. hahah. What a joke. Not a problem solver. Not a manager. I don't know who is keeping him there nor why. Had to go to a totally different shop to get such minor things fixed. Now my AC is working perfectly. ABOSUTLEY NO THANKS TO MO AT ACTIVE AUTO GOOD YEAR

First time using Active Car Care but they came highly recommended. I also recommend them highly. They sent me a quote for the work needed on my Audi. They recommended not doing a few things now. Prices were much better than my dealer. The work was done quickly. And they threw in a free oil change. I will definitely be using them in the future.

I recently took my car to Active Auto and couldn't be happier with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and attentive. They took the time to listen to my concerns and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The mechanics are extremely knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue with my car. They provided a detailed estimate and didn't pressure me into unnecessary repairs. The work was completed on time, and my car is running better than ever. What I appreciated most was their honesty and transparency. It's hard to find a mechanic you can trust, but I feel confident that Active Auto has my best interests in mind. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and trustworthy service. Thank you, Active Auto for making car maintenance an stress-free experience!

I TRUST these guys! Iβve been taking my cars to them for nearly ten years. Friendly service, never try to oversell, and they give thoughtful explanations of whatβs going on and how to resolve. Even though Iβve moved further away, I will make the trek. Canβt recommend them enough!

The best place to take your car. Mel and his team care and make sure your car is back on the road. Even better, ask them about their maintenance packages to ensure your car doesnβt miss a beat.

$500 alignment that lasted two days. Returned and refused admit that they did the alignment without addressing the underlying suspension issue. Low car mechanical knowledge and wouldnβt admit it. Donβt go there for anything more than inflating your tires.

I want to warn everyone so future customers do not suffer the same result. My partner (female) went in for a simple tire replacement. One new tire for this vehicle is priced from other shops and/or dealership at MOST $200. She was not given the price for the tire, replacement, service, or any other charge. So within 20 minutes they call stating to do an alignment and again dont give the price, which at most an alignment is $200. Her and I go to pick up the vehicle 45 minutes after the initial dropoff because they keep bombarding her phone saying its done, then they give the bill and it is $800. They gave all these charges without her knowledge and since she left the vehicle with them they can charge whatever they like. I firmly believe these places take advantage of people that aren't aware so please use this knowledge for yourself in the future.

Extremely disappointing experience. There was a noise coming from my car, so I brought it here for service. The shop completely misdiagnosed the problem, replaced the belt, tensioner, and pulleyβwhich werenβt the issueβand charged me $840. When I returned, they still couldnβt identify the real cause and were dismissive when I asked for help. I later took my car to another shop that immediately diagnosed the problem as a faulty alternator. After replacing it, the noise disappeared completely. This proves that the previous repair and charges were unnecessary. The entire experience was a waste of time and money. Even after giving them a second chance, they failed to fix the issue and treated me poorly when I asked for a fair resolution. Unprofessional, careless, and disappointing serviceβI strongly advise others to stay away.

This shop tried to pull a fast one, maybe banking on me being ignorant considering my demographic. My car battery on surface level appears old, however it is quite new. I brought in my car for nothing related to the battery, had been having no battery issues, but they call saying my battery is totally shot, they had to jump my car, etc., I need a new battery right now and to tell them ok replace it. They seemed to think my battery was old so telling me this *could* make sense, but they didnβt realize it was actually pretty young and Iβm smarter about cars than I look. So I immediately picked the car up and took it somewhere else who confirmed that there is nothing wrong with the battery and should last another 2 years with my driving patterns. I am honestly so disappointed they tried this with me and it saddens me to think who they have done similar things with, thinking about more easily taken advantage of populations like the elderly. My spouse had taken their vehicle here as well for an issue and they suggested all sorts of repairs totaling thousands of dollars, that seemed were unnecessary but my spouse is more trusting, just for the problem to still remain. I question even more now after my own experience if all the work was actually done. In summary, they are nice to you and accommodating, but have lost all trust.

Had to get my front cv axles replaced. I had positive past experiences at this shop but this last visit has made me question their business. The original estimate was for around $2k then a couple of calls later and pick up time its $4k. I had another shop in the area quote the same job as the invoice paid and their total was $2,500. The upcharges were on parts (hopefully they actually installed OEM) and labor by 30%. So expect to pay 25% or more premium to get jobs done that are not your typical oil change/fluid change requests. The pricing is dealership level and not independent shop level pricing. The main positive was that the job was completed within the same day. The staff is nice. The repair is still good today. With the level of the cost they could have cleaned the transmission fluid that covered the bottom from the breakdown.
