I had a 2" front spacer and a 1.5" rear blocked installed on my 2012 F150 (including alignment). Price was the best. They were able to squeeze me in the day I called and were done in about 3hrs. Great work. Note: I did not order the kit from them, but they still installed it. Several other shops I spoke with required you to buy from them (this shop offers Ready Lift and I might have purchase it through them, but I bought the kit before I found them).

Mayco Restoration was highly recommended to me by a very trustworthy friend who stores and sells exotic cars. This is where he also goes when his cars are in need of repairs, so needless to say, I value his opinion. But Paul went the extra mile in not only repairing the damages caused by my accident, but also buffed and repainted several scratches and dings on my car. He communicated with me at every stage of the repair and kept me in the loop with the status of supplemental work that needed approval by my insurance company. Sonia is very helpful and friendly, as well, in answering all my questions and following up with me when Paul was not available. I highly recommend Mayco Restoration and will only bring my car here going forward.

Took a leap of faith based on reviews. Ask a friend for a good shop and they only tell you where they got screwed. So I gave Mayco a try and took a C5 Corvette in for custom exhaust work. It was done right and cost less than the quote. When does that ever happen? Happy, I next took my wife’s C4 Corvette for some extensive brake-line, ABS, and some other work weeks later. The price was fair and the parts had to be ordered. When I took it home, I had a couple of items I brought that didn’t make it on the car. Stuff happens and I was pleased with all of the other work but notified Paul. He was very apologetic and had me return the car. I figured while there, I would ask that they do one other service not previously discussed. When I picked the car up, I was charged nothing because of the inconvenience. Unbelievable! I finally found a great shop that I can trust and recommend. If you work downtown, drop the car and hop the train a block away. I can’t end my review without mentioning JJ on the front desk. She is the personification of who you want working your business on the front end. She is sweet, knowledgeable and professional and Paul you are lucky to have her, Thanks Mayco, I’m a customer for life. However long that is.

They are very cheap but you get what you pay for. I took my car multiple times with promises that they would fix what they had messed up in the first place and the car wouldn't come out any better I just kept paying more. If your doing something big on your car look for someplace more professional if it's something small like an exhaust they should be fine. I think the owners name is Paul he's super nice but their work was bad.

I live near by and took a chance with a new mechanic, now I've got a friend in Paul (the owner). I bring all my vehicles to him, and I'm always taken care of. My girl had many years worth of issue with her Jeep, and Paul got them all figured out, all while not breaking the bank. I would suggest Mayco to anyone, friend or family. The price is reasonable for the work they did to my car. It took long to get it done but I didn't care as long as it's done corrrectly. I am fully satisfied. I waited a week to pass before I give them a review to see if anything goes wrong. But I have driven my car to work and home and other places, everything runs smoothly. They did a good job! I'm happy!

Highly recommended! After looking around, saw all of the great Google reviews for Mayco and Paul - so decided to give them a try. I scheduled my muffler installation a couple of days ahead of time and Paul was right on schedule. Nice waiting area as well. Service was great and work was performed at a great price. Thanks Paul!

Exceptional work!! While I was visiting in Houston from Dallas & my cars coolant sensor gave out & by the grace of God I found this place. I came across the unfortunate situation where I bought a “new” part from autozone and they replaced it with that part before I left they tested it and the part turned out to be defective. Not only did they help me get a functional sensor but they did double the work in having to replace that part as well . Not once did they hesitate, never made me feel like a burden, the price I paid for the work they did was great I’m sure they saved me ALOT of money. Mr Paul and the other gentlemen working here are determined & will do right by the customer 100%. They are very knowledgeable with everything & will even keep the customer well informed. The environment has a positive welcoming energy to it as well. I am forever grateful I would definitely recommend them to anybody needing to fix their car. I don't know much about cars but when I took my car to Paul at Mayco Xtreme Motorsports I was very pleased with the results and the hospitality. I went in to his shop needing an alignment, control arm replacement, complete brakes replacement and to fix the suspension. Knowing that I travel to the Woodlands for work, Paul rushed my car to the front of the line, ordered all of the required parts and completed everything in one afternoon at a reasonable price. He and his employees are very professional and experienced. I'm very impressed with their work 👍

Stay Away from this Place to work on Your Cars or Trucks, The owner is Rude and Not unset, we brought our F450 Here on this shop for repair estimate, These people opened all parts from engine, Engine was running, they took of parts and It was not running anymore, They gave me a High price estimate and we didn’t like the estimate, then they said if you need to put staff back from your engine, need to pay at least $700 more. We had to tow the car to another shop. That’s how they do business Here. They open your car without your permission and Force you to pay a lot more. No matter they do any work or Not, they want around $1000 just for The Estimate, if you don’t accept their estimate they will damage your car more to make sure no one else can work on your car. STAY AWAY FROM HERE. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL.

I have a ‘95 Land Cruiser HDJ81 I imported from Japan. When i took ownership the AC wasn’t working, so I brought it to Mayco. They fixed it pretty quick. When I needed new suspension, wheels/tires, exhaust and a snorkel installed on my truck I brought it back to Mayco. The installation is very clean. Mayco installed everything correct, and did so while respecting that I was without-vehicle. But more important than the craftsmanship, was the customer service. Mayco kept a clear line of communication with me throughout the entire process. They’ve earned my business.

I was hoping for a good experience, but no. They told me they could address the issue I had, then I bring my car in, I took an uber home and leave it with them. Hour or two goes by and they say ‘oh sorry we dont have the tool to do the job after all’. For a performance shop I would expect them to confirm if they can actually do the job before I spend money and time to bring it in. Total time waste l, and rather rude woman on the phone taking the calls when I called back. Very disappointing experience.

We were referred here specifically to speak with Paul, but despite requesting him, he never came out to greet us or address our concerns. From the initial phone call, I felt dismissed and unwelcome. We came in for a simple oil change and blinker light replacement — it took nearly two hours, and we were charged almost $300, with 90 minutes of labor just for the blinker. That felt excessive and honestly, a bit dishonest. I gave this place a chance based on a friend’s recommendation, but I would not return or recommend them to others.

Honestly, I would rate them higher if I could. I’m not educated on cars much, but the people of Mayco made it incredibly easy to understand what’s going on, what you’re paying for, and when it’ll be done. Period point blank, Paul and his team and mechanics are all quick, efficient and kind. Seriously, I’m going back there for nearly everything car related from now on. One interaction is all it takes.
