I always have an excellent experience at the Rodney Parham location. Staff makes it easy to schedule appointments. Grayland is very helpful and courteous. He keeps me informed throughout the course of the repairs/servicing. If my car was evaluated and in need of parts, they are ordered promptly. We had to have a car with dead battery towed into them without an appointment on a Friday morning. They were very welcoming to us and understood our issue. I liked getting the email with the work order so I can be prepared to talk about the car problems when they call. The staff person clearly explained what problems they had found and gave me good, clear options for what I wanted to have fixed. They found a couple of worn, cracked belts that could have been a big problem, performed some much needed maintenance on the car, got everything done and we picked the car up later that afternoon!

It goes without saying that my wife is already a huge fan and loyalist of Firestone Store #021865 off of Rodney Parham (Little Rock, Arkansas in general and their impressive and outstanding store manager, Grayland Watkins, in particular. And it is just not simply the total quality and complete auto care you receive (as noted in its name), but how Grayland and his staff go beyond the call of duty to make sure that their customers get the best of the best customer service and quality service (without any exceptions). This is why I (like my wife) will pass several other auto places to always come directly to this location because when you are the BEST of the BEST, then there are simply no other substitutes. Came in with a request to check out my infinity G37 tire pressures and make sure my car was ready for a few hundred mile holiday trip. I was greeted by an extremely polite, pleasant gentleman who told me he’d get my car in shortly to check it out. Twenty minutes later he came back to tell me tires were AOK and pressures set to the car’s specifications. Topped off all my fluids and found everything perfect and I should be fine to make my trip. Piece of mind is everything for a girl who knows little about cars but knows where to go for to get good service. The people there at this Firestone are outstanding as always! I took my car into this store on Sunday afternoon for the simple procedure of a tire rotation. The Service Advisor, Kyle, directed me to the bay where the technician was working on my car and showed me that a front left wheel assembly stud had broken off while the lug nut was being torqued. Right as I was standing there, visually upset about the damage, the technician proceeded to torque the right front lug nuts and broke yet another stud, right in front of me. I can see where a mistake can be made, it can happen to the best. But when right after this mistake the tech proceeds to repeat it, it’s inevitable for me to wonder whether it’s just bad luck, incompetence or malice on the technician’s part. I asked if maybe he was over torquing the lug nuts and the tech abrasively replied that he knew how to do his job. I was left with an unsafe vehicle to drive, my family’s Sunday plans had to be canceled, and now I have to deal with repairing my car which will leave me without a vehicle for a couple of days. I went to the store the next day and spoke with Grayland, the shop manager. He was very professional, kind, and agreed to reimburse me for the repairs to my vehicle, which I chose to have another shop perform. I am editing this review to reflect five stars. Most people do the best they can to make a living and I am grateful for the shop manager doing the right thing. They can’t control all aspects of what their technicians do; too many variables of human behavior.

My car temp was going up every once in a while, so we dropped and asked them to take a look. Someone called later and said the coolant was low, and to fix the issue, and to fix the issue would well over a thousand dollars. We asked what the long term effects would be if we don’t fix right away, and the guy on the phone said it will be fine as long as we keep coolant in it. We said we would revisit the issue a little later, and we would make sure to keep coolant in it. The employee said they would go ahead and top the coolant off for us. When I drove the car the next day it overheated. When we lifted the hood and pulled up the cover we found the cap to the coolant reservoir off and sitting off to the side - I’m not sure if they even put coolant in it, but if they did all of it was gone because they didn’t screw the lid on!!! We took it back up there to ask them to pull coolant back in it and they refused. Not to mention they busted the caps that hold the cover in place under my hood.

Not mad, just disappointed. Brought my car in for service and while they did a great job finding my issue, I did turn them down on the work and got it done personally. While servicing the car they completely left a hose unplugged on my manifold causing a vacuum leak. It was an easy fix (once we did figure out the issue...) but while I understand I did not have them do the work, I expect to AT LEAST pick my car up in the same condition as I brought it in. It was completely careless to leave my vehicle like that and I almost ended up pouring more money into parts I wouldn't have ended up needing, thinking there was a crack in my manifold. Be more vigilant when returning cars please, its not my fault I can replace three ignition coils and six spark plugs for $230 when you guys want 1k on the work for ONE. I still appreciate the service I received for the diagnostics.

Firestone off Rodney Parham refused to acknowledge my request for a wheel alignment on new wheels and tires. I was directed to visit a different Firestone location instead. When I arrived at the other Firestone location, I was informed that the specific location didn't matter and that the manager doesn’t like to do wheel alignment for raw wheels and tires. A discourteous attitude was displayed by a young man of African American descent who bluntly stated that they do not provide such services. THEY DO NOT HONOR RAW WHEELS AND TIRES WHEEL ALIGNMENT.

Brought my F150 in for a tire rotation and oil change. I was greeted promptly with a few questions and given an estimate within ten minutes after they pulled it in and checked it over. I was so impressed with the way the staff was so polite and professional. I was confident in their suggestions. They damaged my driver’s door trying to get the window up that they had let down for whatever reason, & didn’t even notify me about the damage. Then they lied & put in the invoice that the door was already damaged. Called Corporate office and they backed them on the lie. The resolution I wanted was just a credit or coupon for the damage. Take videos of your vehicle before going to this place.
