I highly recommend this shop. John is great to work with. He has been honest and prompt every time I've interacted with him. I've had work done on two vehicles, an F-150 a couple years ago and a Camry recently. I originally took the pickup there because Fleet was recommended to me by another shop in town as one of their preferred transmission rebuilders. The F-150 required a transmission rebuild, which was done promptly and with great communication from John throughout the process. The price was fair and the work was good. Recently I thought the Camry was having transmission issues so I had it towed to Fleet. Within a couple hours, John called and said that the issue was not the transmission but rather a couple of faulty sensors, which is much less costly to fix. If he was dishonest, he could've told me it was the transmission and gotten some easy money; however, he was honest and quickly diagnosed the issue, saving me hundreds of dollars.

My 2014 Ford Escape Titanium experienced transmission troubles driving back home to Edmond from the airport after a trip to Disney World. I was quick to scan who could do the job best online since a transmission is serious. I found John here @ Fleet did the most top notch work. Despite him being farther out near the Bricktown area, he was my best researched choice so I had my vehicle towed to him & contacted him to make sure he had capacity to accept my vehicle. When you talk with John @ Fleet, he is so patient and calm as he explains in a straightforward manner what needs to happen. You can tell he is quality-driven and customer-oriented. John is the best!

We had transmission problems on our 2018 f150 and I google reviewed transmission shops in the okc area and Fleet transmissions was at the top of the list . I called John and we set up a game plan . We towed the truck in to him and he and his staff went to work. He called me a few times and I called him a few times he always answered and was very informative. I also stopped by for a visit and he was always polite and professional ! The truck was repaired at the price we agreed on and the repair was completed on the day he said it would be finished. We have only driven the truck a few miles but, the transmission is working excellent. Fleet transmission has my business in the future!

I want to give a GREAT shout out to John and his crew at Fleet transmissions. I am a bit late in posting this, but after so much work and headaches him and his crew had to deal with, my Nissan Murano is working great!. He stuck with my husband and me through 4 transmissions. He and his crew took down and put up 4 different transmissions until the 5th and last transmission finally did the work. I TOTALLY recommend him and he is very honest and reliable mechanic. The technician I spoke with was clear and straightforward in his communication, and he demonstrated exactly what the issue was with my vehicle. It's too bad that I can only give them five stars and not more. John and his staff at Fleet Transmissions most definitely went above and beyond anything that I could have expected. I have dealt with three other transmission companies in the past several years with different cars that I've had and I can tell you that this is absolutely the first time ever that I've had a mechanic be so open honest and informative with everything pertaining to the transmission of our vehicle. I can tell you that if possible, I will try to always use him in the future even considering the fact that I live an hour and a half away in tulsa. Kudos to John and to Fleet transmission!

I dread car repair/maintenance as I usually feel like they see me coming and try to sell me a much needed muffler bearing or something to that effect. John and his team are the best. The communication, price, and time to diagnose and repair was flawless. I’m thrilled that I found him. Recently my 2007 Toyota Tundra transmission went out and I was referred to Fleet by another local mechanic for either a rebuild or a replacement transmission. Fleet can do either depending on your model. Long story short, I decided to replace the transmission and the truck drives as smooth as if it were off the showroom floor (and that's with 250k miles). I waited to write this review until I had a decent amount of drive time with the new transmission. So far I've maybe driven it about 500 miles total, a little over a month, with no issues. The shop owner (John) gave me two options, rebuild or replace. We decided to replace since Toyota typically has a good track record with these transmissions as well as having a 24 month manufacturer warranty on replacements. However, rebuilding may be the better option depending on the car model. It's a toss up but a quick Google search of your car model will usually tell you which direction to go. Overall, it was a really good experience. Took a little while longer due to shipping the transmission from Toyota. Fleet had my truck for about 6 weeks total (5 of which was waiting for the transmission to arrive). The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. John gives you the feeling he cares and will make sure they get the job done right which is all you can ask for.
