These guys are awesome! Busted my rear shocks on the Rubicon - 2600 miles from home!!! Folbeck saved the day. I called a few shops in the area as I headed East and the guys at Folbeck actually took the time to check their stock and found a set for my Jeep!!! Saved my trip home! Very grateful! Highly recommend Folbeck for anyone in the Reno area… and worth the trip to work with these professionals if you are heading to or from the Rubicon!!!

In our first experience they took our truck, which we bought with a lift on it, and corrected what was a poor, and dangerous, job by another shop and our truck drives better than it ever has! Taken Jeep there a few times. Power steering pump went out and they replaced it with another that failed in 8 months. Got lectured by Donny that I “dry-steer” which I don’t and it was condescending. 4 yr olds dry steer when they play like they’re driving your car. Took in for valve cover gaskets/cam and lifters…this was in June…now in November leaking oil and burning from leaks on exhaust manifold it on both sides of valve cover. So either got charged for work not done or work done incorrectly. Called to let Mitchell know…his attitude was unprofessional and rude. Asked to see pictures! WTH?! Not bring it in so we can look at it or offer to stand by their work. Thankfully their are legal means to deal with businesses like this who take over $6000 from you and then treat you like crap and don’t warranty their work. At this point one star is too much.

Another great job by Folbeck 4 Wheel Drive. I had them install a Long Range America auxiliary fuel tank on my Gladiator. They had done the same on my Wrangler 3 years ago. I had a BDS suspension kit installed here. It was expensive and they were nice to me. Only a couple things weren't quite right. For one I would have liked to go back and take a look under my truck, just for general purposes. I would have paid for them to do something with the e-brake cable instead of just leaving it hanging in the way. The last thing is kind of a big one. They never even asked me if I wanted the truck level or what. For around 5K they left it nose down with the e-brake cable hanging, front tires rubbing. If I do another truck I'll find somewhere else.

I cannot recommend Folbeck 4WD enough. It is rare to find a shop with this level of integrity. They performed some work on my vehicle over three years ago, and it recently came to light that the original job hadn't been done quite right. In an industry where it would have been incredibly easy to "play games" or simply point to the fact that the warranty period had long since passed, Folbeck did the exact opposite. Instead of making excuses, they stood behind their reputation. They took the vehicle in immediately and performed all the necessary corrective work completely free of charge. Not only was the craftsmanship excellent this time around, but they also handled it in a very timely manner, getting me back on the road with minimal downtime. If you want a shop that is honest, professional, and actually stands by their work even years down the line, this is the place to go. Huge thanks to the team for being stand-up guys!
