12/09/24 - Bobby and his crew at Foreign Affairs nailed another build for me. This time Bobby envisioned and created a work of art that looks, sounds, and performs phenomenally. These words do not do justice to the impeccable work they performed on my 2006 Black Porsche 997.1 C4S Cabriolet (see pics & video). Bobby and Foreign Affairs are the best in the business! So you need to service your Porsche and are vacillating between the dealer and an independent shop? We have all been there! Well, if you live anywhere in Broward or Palm Beach Counties, look no further than Foreign Affairs Motorsport. Bobby Varella, the second generation owner has built a phenomenal team of service professionals who are second to none. The brand new shop (if you can call it a shop, it is more like a showplace) is stunning. I have everything from old aircooled 911’s to a new 992. Nobody touches my cars other than Bobby and his team. They treat you like family. I have never been anything but overly impressed by their attention to detail. They keep you informed along the way and are very fairly priced.

If you have a vintage Porsche, this is the only place you need to know. Bobby and his team are not only experts in repair but in full restoration. They are meticulous and can spot everything. One of the other most important aspect of FAM is that they are connected with suppliers all over the country and the world to find hard-to-get parts. The workmanship is impeccable. I just recently took my 944 in for a mechanical refresh and a few nagging issues and, of course, they took care of it all and even put on a few bits I was missing. THE BEST.

I had an excellent experience thanks to David. I came in for a tire repair, and from start to finish everything was fast, smooth, and very pleasant. David was extremely helpful and professional — he even took the time to show me around the showroom and walk me through some of the cars while I waited. I went to Foreign Affairs Motorsport for an evaluation on my car's rear differential, and within a few minutes Bobby the owner greeted me and had me sit comfortably in the lounge while the car was evaluated. In short order a few other items were diagnosed and fixed plus the noise everyone told me was a transmission issue which needed to be rebuilt, was actually a engine shield that was vibrating. So my evaluation turned into a problem solved! And what I thought would be an expensive and lengthy process turned into a few hours of relief. The drive all the way home was amazing not to hear that groaning sound when shifting gears. I am thrilled I found Foreign Affairs and look forward to servicing my cars there again.
