Worst customer service ever. Took my vehicle in and mechanic quoted me for new parts to fix a noise from my vehicle. When I picked up my vehicle the noise was still there and I was told I would have to spend an additional $300 on new parts and labor to fix the same noise. I ended up taking my vehicle to another shop and was told it was a completely different issue. I paid to have the parts replaced at the new shop and the noise was gone. Franksville Auto is the last place I would ever take a vehicle, they over charge for work that doesn't even fix the customers problem. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Had my car for weeks. Owner said all his employees quit. He had the transmission out to fix a bearing. A few months later the clutch worn out largely due to a cracked flywheel. Didn’t this owner notice the bad flywheel.

Dec 2022 Once again my vehicle needed repairs while i was in the area, and once again Al was able to get me in. He did great work at a reasonable price. Love this place and the friendly service. It is like having a friend who is a great mechanic. I drive an older vehicle that is starting to need a lot of repairs, so have mechanics at home in Florida, in the LaCrosse WI area, and in the Racine WI area. Out of my three mechanics, Al is by far my favorite. Feb 2022 Was referred to this shop by my friend Andy H. They were able to get my vehicle in on short notice and did the repair according to the estimate, which was $150 less than my usual mechanic. This shop is very friendly and helpful. Love this place! I'll refer friends and family without hesitation!

Got scamed! Dude said he put a new radiator in my 2004 pontaic grand prix charged me $120 for the radiator and then $850 for labor. Come to find out the radiator has NEVER EVEN BEEN CHANGED! So now I have a hole in this bullshit radiator which is making it overheated when driven.. he was a nice guy but I guess people can be deceiving as hell!

Stumbled upon this place completely accidentally when just passing by it. His cost for changing my CVT fluid was better than the estimate I got from a local shop. I didn't realize I was 22,000 miles OVER getting it changed. Now the cost, may scare you but it is needed. Al, the owner of the shop, is extremely kind and informative and even show how dirty the old fluid he drained. You can talk directly to him with no fear and pressure. This will be my new go-to mechanic for big essentials for our 'mule'.

We were taking our cars to Al since 2016 but we had the worst experience and we will no longer use his services. He had my daughters car since 3/7/2025 because he couldn't get the parts to put a new timing chain in our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe so it could pass WI emissions law . The repair on the SUV cost us a pretty penny and when we picked it up on 6/16/2025 the engine light was still on and it again failed the WI emissions test. Our 90 day DMV waiver is coming up on Saturday July 5 2025. We took to Sam's Auto who repair emissions on most cars on 6/18, they were so kind and understanding and they couldn't fix it because something was wrong with the SUV engine. Then we took our SUV to Zeigler Hyundai on Washington avenue on 6/24/2025 and they saidthe car was is good shape but found that the new timing chain Al put in our SUV was put on wrong so therefore it damaged the engine. To replace and fix this 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe again would now cost us and additional $4900.00 which we cannot afford. Our 90 day WI emissions extension from the WI DMV is coming to an end on Saturday July 5 so therefore we cannot drive it until we get it fixed or junk it. This means my daughter's transportation vehicle that she used for work and to transport her wheelchair bound special needs little girl is now broken and might be sent to the junk yard. Good bye Franksville auto.
