The estimate, which was reasonable, was ok. When I picked up the car I signed where he told me to. I never heard about higher costs a/c problems they apparently had with over spray. It wasn’t my fault and insurance company shouldn’t pay. The new total was considerably more. No mention of it at all. Insurance company paid in spite of my calls and messages. I am upset.

They did an excellent repair job on my fender and headlight. They also cleaned up 5 years of blemishes on my Tesla and the car looks as good as new. One minor complaint is that the tire near the repair job was low on air pressure when I got it. The staff were courteous and respectful and and very helpful in filling out the paper work and arranging an auto loan. The work was done within two days of my bringing in the car.

I was extremely skeptical about going to another G&C Auto Body Shop for my Tesla, especially after a really disappointing experience at the Hayward location. When I went to G&C Hayward, my car was returned with dents still visible, and the customer service was lacking. It took weeks to get my car back, and I left feeling frustrated and let down. But my experience at G&C Auto Body Shop in Berkeley completely changed my perspective—and that’s all thanks to Eric. From the very beginning, Eric went above and beyond. He was incredibly helpful and accommodating, even coordinating with the rental car company on my behalf. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, calling me regularly to let me know what was going on with my car. At the end, he also made sure I knew there was a warranty on all the parts—something that gave me extra peace of mind. What stood out the most was how efficient and on top of everything he was. I contacted their San Pablo CA location & was referred to their Berkeley CA location since I was nearby…I spoke to Steven at San Pablo & he told me to ask for the manager by the name of Sean at the Berkeley spot…Sean took a look at the paint transfer on my rear driver side door & wiped it off for me without charging me anything for his time & labor. I appreciate his time & effort. If I do ever need bodywork done, I’ll make sure to seriously consider doing it with G&C Berkeley CA or San Pablo CA.

SCAM! Save your money elsewhere. Because of their review, I went in. Their estimate is scam. Keep trying to increase it by mentioning this and that minor things. My estimate was $3000. During the end they raised up $7200. And my headlight was not even broken and they said it needed to be fixed which cost $1,300. No, thank you. It’s been more than 3 weeks I still don’t have my car with me. It’s in their repair shop all because of another estimate.

They instructed me to go to our network Tesla-certified body shop, so I dropped my Tesla at G and C auto body shop in Berkley on Tuesday and they called me Friday just two days later to pick up my car.
