Harvey and his crew have got it right! They understood what my car's problem was (which is saying something when dealing with a Ford), and were prompt and personable throughout. It's a small shop, but a good one -- and wouldn't you rather deal with folks who are like good neighbors rather than some faceless dealership that couldn't care less about your problems?

Harvey is an genuine guy. He would never scam you and gives you a straight up answer. I have gone to him for major issues like my brakes, and computer problems but have also seen him for minor things like tire rotation and oil change. He is so sweet and truly a great mechanic! Even if I moved out of Garden Grove, I would still make the drive for him!!

A friend recommended Garden Grove Auto for my son when he was doing an internship in the area. Harvey was very kind and helpful with a couple things while my son was here. We visited when he was nearing the end of his internship and needed a bulb change. Harvey squeezed us in late on a Fri afternoon before we had to leave. I know our friends who have used him for many years highly recommend him and we were very pleased with his competency, kindness and caring attitude. After using the same auto mechanic for close to 20 years (his shop closed down after his lease was not renewed), we were in need of a convenient mechanic for routine maintenance and repairs on our 2 cars. We decided to try Garden Grove Auto Repair after finding it close to our vet's office and reading some reviews. We have now worked with Harvey several times in the last few months including one major repair. He is personable, knowledgeable, his prices are fair and the lobby of his shop is clean - all of which are good to have. The most important factor for us in frequenting any business is integrity (something not always easy to come by these days, especially in this industry). Harvey is the real deal and he excels at all of these things. I could not recommend him or this shop more highly.

Puts the Care in Auto Care I really like taking my car to Garden Grove Auto Care for the oil change because they give my car a good once over to keep me safe on the road. Last time they found a tire with low pressure that had a leak that was repairable. And in the past they solved a brake problem that another place had been unable to figure out. Super friendly and honest! They'll sometimes have same day or next day appts, but it'd be cool to give a couple days heads up for oil changes. Harvey tries to fit you in, and they give you options and solid expertise without trying to upsell you anything. We've been going here for years, and I can't believe I've forgotten to write a review. I haven't had any major work done with our cars but would 110% trust them with any auto care needs!! It's rare to find a spot like this 😊 we've referred friends here because they're so awesome!
