I have brought several vehicles here and always have gotten a very good service! They are truly one of the best in alignment services. I have to drive about 15-20 miles to this guys just to get alignment done, and I don’t mind- that should tell you how good they are! Prices are VERY good!

Great Honest people. Went with my dad as a kid and now I continue to go to them as an adult. Very respectful and responsible people. Make sure to get there early (before they open) if you want to wait on your car. Otherwise it is better to drop the car off because they get busy quick!

Great group of guys working there! Great prices too! Alignments are $50-$55 which is wonderful. At times there is a wait for a bit but they stay busy so plan accordingly either by waiting or drop off. Worth the wait though!

Great and trustworthy folks. I came in for an alignment, and they handled it perfectly. Also really enjoyed the signs around the shop.

I highly recommend them. If you want your alignment done right the first time, bring it to Garland Safety Lane. Professional Old fashioned service 👍🏽👍🏽. Connor did a great job on my truck when the other "Big Box" alignment shops couldn't get it correct for six months!! I'll continue to bring my business to them. Thanks, Garland Safety Lane.

I've been using Garland Safety Lane for over 22 years. The present owner (Matt) was the lead mechanic back in the day. And now Matt's son is working there. I replaced all the suspension components on my 09 Silverado (298k miles) and got to them, when they were done it handled (and rode) like a brand new truck. Love this place!

My family has been using this place for what seems forever. My only complaint is that they are old school enough to assume women have no clue nor business in this establishment.

If you live close to Garland, you know Garland safety lane is the place to go for front end alignment, they do great work for fair price, I took my 1960 Chevy Impala here when I was in high school. That's how long they have been in business. They are honest too, one time they told me I didn't need any work done. You don't find that much anymore. Try them, you won't be sorry !!!

Garland Safety Lane is a hidden gem, nestled among the two-dozen used car lots on Garland Avenue. They are honest as the day is long, and won't sell you on parts or services you don't need. They are typically busy, so it doesn't hurt to call ahead and check whether they're swamped. People line up 30-minutes before they open to get ahead. Brake service, alignments and suspension system work is their specialty.

How to lose a 16 year customer. I delivered my vehicle Friday the 15th 0730. When they checked me they accidentally wrote my information down for me in their note book for the previous day. I show up at 1630 Friday to pick it up and the mistake was noticed I was oops our bad we’ll get you in. Place closes at 1730 car gets pulled in at 1715. As soon as it’s lifted it was noticed a inner tie rod is bad and I was told no time to fix I’d have to leave it or come back with it on Monday and to the owners credit the tech told me it was our mistake bring it in and I’ll make sure to get you ahead of everyone and get you out the door. Money is tight so I did the tie rod work my self and my wife had it there at 7:15 am Monday. I’ve been coming here for 16 years. Know it’s first come first serve it’s always been that way. But we had an agreement one where the owner out right said yeah you needed parts and you didn’t get them so make the line again. That’s not at all what happened on Friday if they would’ve had the time on Friday I would’ve bit the bullet and paid them to do it but it was too late and they couldn’t. The owner instead asking the tech if that’s what was agreed on he embarrassed my wife infront of every customer there an asked them if they let her cut the line… a problem that’s his not us we didn’t make the mistake of putting the car on the wrong page in the check in booklet they keep. Yes I would recommend this shop they’re the best but will never set foot in that shop again. Right is right wrong is wrong we were not in the wrong they were and you own and make it right. If he wants to dispute he can I’ll go and make a full YouTube video with dash cam video of that car entering the shop at 1713. I got my alignment done else where paid $90 and it’s still not aligned right. Which is exactly why I don’t like to go anywhere else.

If you’re looking for an honest and hardworking establishment, then this is the place. I needed an alignment on my lowered Mustang and Matt dialed her in perfectly. I’ve taken it to a number of other shops before in which they all failed miserably. If you’re going to wait on your vehicle, I highly suggest getting there at least 30 min before they open as they do get busy fairly quick. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The owner Matt was very kind and interacted with all the clients waiting in the shop. I will gladly make the 45 minute journey again in the future.

After going to Discount Tire to get 2 new front tires for my f350 dually, and them not being able to do the alignment I went to Firestone complete auto care. Firestone was also not able to do the alignment due to my truck's weight. Finally I went back to discount Tire to see if they knew of a shop to do the alignment and they suggested Garland Safety Lane. Not only did Conner gave me a great price on the alignment, but was nice to deal with. I highly recommend this place for any suspension or alignment work!!

A HIDDEN GEM - Safety Lane in Garland is a blast from the past all the way down to the old fashioned customer service, and non nonsense pricing. This is an amazing choice for anyone needing brakes, suspension or alignment work done on their car or truck. Notable Safety Lane is lowered car friendly, has flush drive over pits, and even the now vintage equipment to properly align classic cars by hand. If you have a muscle car or some sort of antique that needs steering or suspension alignment this is the place to go.
I found it very remarkable that Matt is the proud 4th owner of the company, which opened in 1952, more than 70 years ago. He purchased it from the widow of the 3rd family owner, after having been an employee there himself for more than a decade. He didn’t change anything, and if you call you will probably hear him answer the phone “SAFETY LANE” and hear you out.
Nothing high tech, nothing fancy, and no official appointments. They take you first come first served, and the line begins forming 30 minutes before they open at 7am. On our visit we waited for quite a while in line, but in the end it was worth it. I have never seen someone put so much time and effort into an alignment, Matt took the car out onto the road 3 times to test drive it himself. How is that for customer service?
Someday in the future places like Safety Lane may not even exist, but for now you can step back into a simpler time and experience honest customer service like your grandpa used to get! Highly recommended!
