My transmission went out on my 2019 GMC Yukon XL. I did some research online whether to get a replacement or rebuild. I decided to go with a rebuilt with all the upgrades to prevent from future problems with the 6L80 stock transmission that GM provides. I called about 10 different transmission repair shops to ask questions and test their knowledge. Gato's Transmission is an expert. He is very knowledgeable. Gato explained the problems, what upgrades are needed, and gave me a fair price. 1 year warranty. He would even send me text message pictures of the what my transmission looked like inside and the parts he is using to replace. He took pictures of everything and would show me. I research the brands of parts he used which are very reputable brands. I could tell how passionate he is about his work. I will definitely recommend him to anyone needing transmission repairs.
