⚠️ **Exercise Caution: A Frustrating Encounter with Gerber's Service** My experience with Gerber turned into a disheartening odyssey. Despite being assured an 8-day turnaround, my vehicle lingered in their care for an astonishing 2 months. Excuses ranged from a paint department backlog to delays in acquiring essential parts, and payment problems with their vendors, deepening my dismay. The end result was far from satisfactory. Upon return, my car showcased lingering issues—dents, chipped paint, lift gate malfunctions, misaligned rear lights, dried paint drips, and blind spot sensor troubles. A subsequent four-day visit to Gerber only addressed two of the reported problems. Adding to the frustration, the ultimate excuse was disheartening: "Our mechanics don't know how to fix it; I don't know what to tell you." Regrettably choosing Gerber was a mistake, and I strongly advise against entrusting them with your vehicle. If you're reading this, please consider seeking services elsewhere to avoid similar headaches and wasted time. Gerber's lifetime guarantee loses its value when they struggle to adequately address the initial damage, rendering the promise seemingly inconsequential. I've relocated my vehicle to another body shop. The accident occurred in September, and it's now December. Hopefully, the new body shop can quickly rectify Gerber's mistakes and address the issues they were unable to resolve.

I was in a recent car accident; the process started off a little overwhelming. My insurance claim adjuster recommended Gerber. I looked up the reviews and was a bit hesitant, but I went with my gut feeling and the recommendation. Once I contacted Gerber, the person that answered said they were already expecting us. My claims adjuster had already started the process. Upon arrival we were greeted by Pete and Ricky. Pete was awesome and provided excellent customer service. Pete made contact via email and text with vehicle updates. Ricky was honest with the vehicle repairs and parts needed. When I purchased my car from Kia, I was not given a spare tire. Gerber went above and beyond by taking the initiative to provide me with a spare tire. Thanks, Pete, Ricky, and the entire Gerber staff, for your hard work, awesome communication, and returning my vehicle like new. Oh, and a bonus was washing my vehicle from inside and out. Got a bad feeling about this place. The lady answering the phones and the quote for my simple job were both very odd. The lady at reception looks at me like I'm an idiot for seeking a service pertaining to my bent door. After I ask about walking in or appointment needed she was already tired of talking to me. I ended up going to check it out and get a quote. I am getting a quote on a bent door. Before owning this car, I guess a locksmith had to be called for the vehicle and they bent the tip of the door so much that water leaks inside the cabin. (An auto locksmith from a AAA call told me that they have machines in am auto collision place to bend it back.) So I get a quote from Gerber and they want $300 for the simple bend job. Or they want $1600 for a new door entirely. Yeah, I didn't book nothing here. Everything is just bad here. Terrible experience and likely tried to scam me. The guy who did my quote acted like he didn't know about the technique or machine to do a quick locksmith bend fix. I was able to find another auto body shop who acknowledged the locksmith bend issue and an easy job fix. I was quoted $75 for the fix. I will be taking my car there and put Gerbers on my list of places to avoid. 1 star. -You are likely to get scammed here. -You are likely dealing with dishonest salesmen here.
