I have been dealing with Gerber since September after having damage from a fallen tree. They were always behind schedule and not honest about it. Picked up my vehicle in November and there was damage not there when I dropped it off. They stated it happened during their repairs but they would make it right. They shouldn't have even called me to pick it up until it was fixed. This past week they finally took my car in and the "fix" was absolutely horrible. The manager Joshua stated the parts needed are not available but they will figure something out and make it right (again). A quick Google search and I found the parts. Supposedly, Joshua is going to be calling soon to have it taken in again. AGAIN. This makes the third time I've taken it up there since the work was suppose to be done in November. I've lost my patience and my trust. I do not recommend.

Did very good work fixing my hood, fenders and paint. Downside: they left my cold side inter cooler tube entirely disconnected, and instead of trying to address it, it appears they disconnected the battery long enough to clear to code (clock was off by 3 hours) and they didn’t tell me anything. It wasn’t until I was half way home the code came up for high injector flow (can also be interpreted as LOW air flow). Tracked it down and fixed it but I would expect better of a professional shop.

My insurance company recommended that I use Gerber over the other repair shop. I used in town. This is the second time my 2010 Mazda six was indiscriminately hit while parked and this time it was rear ended. 2010 was the best year for the Mazda six and my car is in immaculate condition. The rear bumper had to be replaced as did some work on the trunk that wouldn’t close properly . The accident happened on 6/1/2022 and pictures were taken and sent to my insurance company but I wasn’t able to get an appointment with Gerber for another two weeks. In that time there are no other problems with my vehicle except the damage to the trunk and bumper. I drop the car off on 6/15/2022 and within two weeks the repairs were done. Here lies the problem. when I picked up my vehicle and open the driver side door, the panel that covers the controls for my electric seats, fell off and the wires were just hanging down. I pointed this out and was informed it probably happened at the time of the accident. I probably would’ve agreed if I had taken the car in within days but two weeks later, I took it in and all that time there is never any problems with the aforementioned problem to the seat. I was told that my Mazda because of its unique seat color, which is beige, might be hard to locate but they would do their best at finding a replacement seat at some junkyard they would try to find. Needless to say, I wasn’t happy that my immaculate car inside and out even after repairs now had a damaged seat. I knew that nothing would come of it and there would be no repairs to that seat, but I was hopeful that would not be the case. I called once and they assured me they were doing their best to do something but I never heard from them. I had to initiate the call and I haven’t heard back since and now here we are February 2023. I do believe the car is supposed to be returned in the condition that it was presented with since there was no damage to the seat I do believe the onus was on them to fix it and return it, and if they couldn’t find a seat, then they should’ve been some kind of reduction in the cost such as me not having to pay my deductible they could’ve covered that. My deductible is not much about $250. It’s not a big deal. It’s not like I can’t afford it but of course that’s not the point. The personnel and Gerber were kind, courteous and professional, but I do believe that the damage to the car on the seat was done in the shop but of course there’s no way to prove that it’s just interesting that there is no problems for two weeks and then they have the car for two weeks and then the seats broken. I expect nothing to come from this review, except me cathartically processing my disappointment. I rarely write reviews, and I do believe this is the second one in my life but as I get older, I find myself slightly disappointed. And by the way, my car has extremely low mileage and is quite sought after by dealerships as a trade-in that I might have done in the future but of course that does change now that the seat is damaged. It’s no longer in mint condition. Update 8/7/2923: I was contacted by Gerber auto body within 24 hours of posting this review. I just haven’t had the wherewithal to do an update. I was told they had secured the part that was needed and if I would be kind enough to take down my review, I felt that that would be something I could do If the situation worked out. I was told I will be contacted in a week or so when the part came in, but it was on its way. But let’s not take down your review I’m thinking because things haven’t been fixed yet. Everything is as it was. I am sad to report I never heard back from Gerber auto body again. My other car, which is new ,has suffered from damage to the bumper when a retreaded tire from a semi trailer flew off under the undercarriage and the bumper needs to be replaced . I will be taking it to my insurance company and it will not be going to Gerber.

Great service! They kept me updated the whole process. I was able to email them a copy of my insurance estimate before I brought the car in, so they were very helpful with ordering the parts before I even brought the car in. Very fast and professional. Also, my car was so much cleaner then when I dropped it off :)

My recent visit to Gerber Collision was a drastic improvement from my previous unpleasant experience. Unfortunately, I was involved in another car accident and my insurance sent me back to Gerber Collision. Initially, I was hesitant but was designated Eric as my assistant. He provided excellent service in a timely and honest manner, addressing all my car's problems. The application sent me daily updates via text, which was a refreshing change from my previous experience. Eric's exceptional service made all the difference, and I am grateful for his assistance. I highly recommend Gerber Collision and Eric to anyone in need of collision repair services.

I recently bought my vehicle to Gerber collision to get fixed, they replaced the bumper and back door. Cosmetic wise the vehicle looks like nothing ever happened but now I have a back door that won’t open with my remote or the buttons on the inside. I dropped my vehicle off July 16 and didn’t pick it up until August 13, the completion date kept getting pushed back. I was skeptical about picking it up because now i have to pay out of pocket. When the door was damaged along with the bumper the door would still open and close with the remote, it wasn’t until they replaced everything that it stopped working. I just don’t think it’s fair I have to pay for something that I did not do. I think they should have offered to figure it out instead of being no help and making me feel like they were trying to push me out of the door with a problem they didn’t want to deal with.

Best customer service I have experienced! Eric was awesome. He was in constant communication keeping me updated on the progress of my Lexus' repairs. When the original replacement door that was ordered arrived damaged (no fault of theirs), he let me know they would make it a priority to replace it asap and they still managed to complete the repair by the original estimated date! Not to mention the quality of work was outstanding. Completely satisfied and would highly recommend.

This is the second time I use Gerber for vehicle damage. I chose to use them a second time due to the first time I had a good experience. (Even though they forgot to hook up my antenna last time). Overall good work. This time was a nightmare. Eric was in charge of keeping me up to date on the process. I would always have to call first. And then most of the time he was gone for the day or would simply not return my calls. Weeks after my service was supposed to be done. I get my car back. Without my spare wheel, and my brand new rear axle was dropped(obviousely) and rotor shrouds were buckled and not replaced. Drivers seat belt not working! Took it back to the shop and eric(as usual) no where to be found. I was told he would call me. That was Monday and it's Friday. No call from Eric! Will not recommend this shop to anyone.

Vehicle was referred to this shop after a collision. Aside from inaccurate timelines, once the vehicle was picked up there was very apparent damage still not taken care of; seen below. Two days later, the vehicle wouldn't run. Now in the process of having the claim reopened and see what else has been neglected. Avoid this place at all costs. UPDATE (a month later): The unfinished bodywork and other items missed totaled around $3K or so and much more time lost. Alternator went bad a few weeks after that, too. Hard to tell what the alternator is attributed too, but was told it had been replaced. As mentioned, I would be extremely careful with this place. I would not recommend it.

Driving through town and my mirror came loose. I stopped in at Gerber and spoke with Eric. He was excellent!! They took the time out of their day to see me and quickly and adequately resolve my issue. I was in and out. Highly recommend anyone look here first for any auto body or glass needs you have!

I have never experienced anything like this. My first experience with Gerber dates to 05/2018. I hit an animal and broke my bumper and the plastic cover underneath the engine. I went with Gerber because they worked with Geico and had decent reviews. Initial timeline for the fix was 4 days, so I decided to drop the car off and get a rental. Three times they postponed the delivery, totaling the number of days in the shop at 9 and me paying for rental the whole time. I was so upset with them that the manager decided to cover my rental for the five days it went over the initial estimate. When I picked up the car I immediately noticed that the bumper was not properly installed and was misaligned almost everywhere. Furthermore, paint had drip lines in several spots. Needless to say, another two days in the shop to get all this fixed. The bumper still did not fit right around the headlights but I just wanted to get my car back so I decided to live with it. Fast forward three months, paints is cracking and peeling. What Jerry Fontes wrote in his comment, same thing happened to Me! Gerber blamed it on the rock chips and said it wasn’t covered by the warranty, but manager decided to hook me up and spot-fix the problem areas. I figured that’s better than nothing so I let them do it. Manager said, 2-3 hours of work tops. I dropped off the car and got a rental cuz I had to go to work. Once again, 2-3 hours of work turned into 3 days! I paid rents again. Throughout the whole time, both first time around and now, no communication whatsoever from the shop. I had to call several times a day to get updates on my vehicle. I just picked up my car, problem areas patched up, but guess what??? There are black spots all over my bumper now, spots that cannot be removed !!!! I have tried several chemicals I had in my car and the spots wouldn’t even budge. They look like oversized fly droppings all over the bumper! I’m hoping a buffet will be able to get it out, but I am not sure. I am beyond furious but I am not taking my car back there ever again and neither should you !!! Very unprofessional and inadequate body shop. A little follow up to my review. Black spots cannot be removed by anything because whatever they are, they’re trapped under the clear coat. So yeah, gotta live with it I guess. I’ve attached a photo so you can see I’m not making this stuff up. Those black spots are all over the right side of my bumper ... Very disappointed...

Josh did an awesome job of getting paint off my car. Last week while I was in Phoenix I ran over some fresh traffic line paint and got it all over the sides of my car. I was thinking that it would be an expensive fix and I would be without a car for days. Josh took my car out back and in minutes returned it with all of the paint gone. I can't thank Josh and the team at Gerber enough for doing it so quickly and easy. I would highly recommend using their body shop! Awesome service!

I am glad to have found this place. My Jeep top was peeling/flaking from a previous bad painter. They got me in right away, even put me up in line since the weather was rainy, and the top looks better than it ever has. Great staff and service, I will definitely return for other jobs.

2023 Hyundai Palisade : Choose your body shop carefully. It’s the little details that will make your experience whole. They assembled be bumper without a 5 dlls clip and now the bumper is not flush with the body. Lost the wheel lock and when I called they denied to make it right by refusing to order a replacement. A 9,359.01 body repair and they refuse to pay for a replacement wheel Lock key !! I didn’t notice the wheel lock missing until I needed to rotate my tires. Last place know to have the lock used?!! Gerber Collision. I understand that it was probably a honest oversight. But to just say “ sorry we can’t do anything about it anymore “ Soo when you receive your car back check for the accessories before you drive away. The last picture is from the front bumper. Nice and flush with the body.
