I was in urgent need of an alternator! Got on google, came across Gholst Auto Repair, checked out their reviews, and decided to give them a call! I called Gholst Auto Care on 1/18 at 3:30PM, received a quote, and had my alternator replaced by the end of the day 1/18. I was shocked how swift and prompt the service was! I’m so grateful! The mechanic team was extremely kind, professional, and very knowledgeable! I have another vehicle that needs a few repairs, and I will be using Gholst Auto Repair again in the near future! I 100% recommend Gholst Auto Repair!!!

I call them to fix a flat tire. The person "fixed" but the next day was flat again. He did the job again but this time he put by force the wrong stud and anyways the tire was flat again. I called and texted him but he just did not answered. I even said I was buying 4 new tires but he did not answered meaning he knew he did something wrong. Shame on him. I had to call someone else and they found out what this guy did. So the new person is struggling trying to get the tire out because the wrong stud.

These guys came out on a Sunday and quickly diagnosed my 2019 suburban with failed water pump ordered my part went and got it returned and fixed my car got me back on the road on a Sunday and very affordable I’m on day two of driving and car running great I will always call these guys. Best service I’ve had in a long time. They came the same day I called and fixed my issue.

This place is a scam . I paid 500 plus for my car to get fixed it’s not fixed , called them multiple times and he got mad because I called that many times , how CAN YOU GET MAD MY CAR NOT FIXED . they will dodge your calls and act like they’re so busy when in reality there not busy AT ALL . I had another number to text them to see if they were avoiding me and they texted the other number back! I do not recommend this business . Would not recommend!

Ghost keeps my chevy tuned up like a NASCAR pit stop. He did a engine replacement for me and a rear diff replacement. And some other things like brakes, brake lines and various suspension jobs across multiple cars I have.

Listen if you’re trying to figure out who to call for any automotive services these guys are definitely the selection! Not only are they mobile mechanics but they are highly professional and work very fast. And did I mention affordable? I had the honor to actually meet the owner Mr Ghoulst himself and it was a pleasure. They fixed my wheel bearings and replaced my brakes for a Mother’s Day weekend road trip! Im glad I came across this company. On May 24th 2025, A guy name James came thru to my house. He inspected my chevy express. And fixed my back brakes for me, he showed me up close the condition that it was in (parts where rusted out). He fixed it the same day, at my house (brake pads, rotors and calipers). Honest and a fair price was given. Will call these guys for the next job. Do yourself a favor and call these guys.

I advise anyone not to go to them, they are liars and have no integrity. I took the car to them and bought brakes and rotors front and rear and 4 speed sensor and rear baring and he took $500 for the work. I paid him and he called and said the car is ready. I went and took the car. The car has the same problem. I took it to another person and got a different speed sensor only and a different baring only. I advise anyone not to go to them.

When I say I’m going to look into it very legal avenue possible and take this to every complaint division possible for this shop and their contracted electrician William I mean it. Shame on you guys for screwing people over stealing their hard earned money. I called the shop explained my problem of my car not starting on and off the key not turning. You guys said I could go in or send someone and told me to give my info via text. Since I didn’t want to get stranded I opted to pay the service call me which at first the service call fee was to come and figure out the issue . When the tech got here he then tells me he has to charge $80 to $100 an hour to inspect it with his computer , there’s cameras outside of the building nothing was taken apart and he literally just plugged up his computer and let my car run on and off for hours racking up the charges then telling me my problem came down to a $50 key auto theft was activating. I dnt know if it’s because I’m female they thought let me tell her it took 4 hours to find that code and we are going to slap the service call and add a hourly even though work wasn’t being done . He then proceeds to tell me to get a switch and mobilizer for just in case installed to make sure everything goes great with the new key he’s getting made something a locksmith could’ve done for under $200, he has to order it from his friend and tells me not to get the other users I had already had auto one hold by telling me his guy has it for less and he’ll bring it all. I never saw a box or new parts he popped up days later to do the job and gives me back my original key and a 2nd key that looks aftermarket . Charges me for the parts which I could’ve gotten cheaper and I dnt even know if he got brand new or even replaced them the next mechanic said it didn’t look like it so I’ll use that statement for court. Now mind you I was as told since I paid already for the service call days prior on top of hours to look for the issue then I’d be covered for him to comeback free of charge and if I had future problems with it there was no charge but now it’s time to put on a mobilizer and switch which I didn’t need I just needed the key programmed, it could’ve been dropped off . He took more time then I had to pay for it, he said he used his $10,000 computer and everything cleared out and was good . Days later when I drive my car 12 mins away and stop my car is doing what it originally did , not start . He came out and this time he says new codes show I need a whole new pcm module computer which the part is over $500 I said you hooked it up and it didn’t read that days prior , he claimed my car was heating the computer yet my car wasn’t overheated and driven for 12 minutes doing the exact same thing not starting . I said I can’t pay for that right now and I’m suppose to be headed moving out of town , he tells me he can hard wire it to bypass for $100 but my car would start in every position even in park as a temporary measure. Not knowing what it meant I agreed and he scheduled to come out the next day . He never showed up even for the 2nd appointment he had me waiting with my car for hours and never showed or answered the phone, it was suppose to come with free service on it for him to come back out. I go elsewhere and what do you know my $50 key that turned into a bankroll wasn’t programmed and I was back at square one with my auto theft lock activating because the keys he gave me were not programmed. Leaving me stranded and multiple uber rides and a pushed back move that cost hundreds. You cannot rig a navigator was the red flag when it was even suggested hence I assume why he stopped returning my calls and skipped the scheduled visits. I paid for work that did not get done, I paid for labor that did not get done. I’m out thousands for a $50 key and max a $100 to $200 job. I should’ve looked at the reviews but I promise I’m taking this all the way to get justice for the people they’ve screwed the same way

The men that came out to fix my car are so amazing. They came out the time I asked, and stayed in contact through message and calls. They were so professional & efficient. They talked me through the whole process and worked very quickly. Explained to me what else was wrong with my car & the prices before they started. Also told me how they would come out again to fix another issue with my car. They are very affordable. They're also funny, I felt really comfortable around them. Amazing, the only people I will be calling for my car from now on.

I’ve texted him 2 days in advance to get my shocks done on my car. The day I needed him to come, he has left me on read and when I literally hound him “You still coming”? After leaving on read for hours, He leaves me on read again but texts a few minutes after saying he’s sick🤦🏾. I definitely would have understood if he said that earlier instead of expecting his services and leaving me on read. Decent prices but Very unprofessional on communication and definitely wasted my time today.

This company is all smoke n mirrors. All the reviews with one star I should have took heed to but I was trying to "support Black." Please don't fall victim to their scams. They came out to fix a cracked oil pan and do a tune up. The tech broke off a spark plug and blamed the previous person who did the previous tune up saying "they screwed it in too tight..." they spent 12 hours giving be bs excuses saying they "found the problem" only to tell me their tech bought the wrong spark plug. And they'll be back tomorrow. Tomorrow is here and soon evening will come. Do you think they called or responded to ANY of my text messages?! No. Now my car that was running great just had a leak from the oil pan is sitting in my driveway inoperable. But see what wicked people will find out sooner or later; you mess with Yah's chosen ones you will be dealt with by Him according to ALLLL of your transgressions. They think they are getting over on us... nah.. they're just setting themselves up for their fall.
