Working with GI Autobody & Paint has always been better than great! Going to the shop is almost FUN. My mom’s car got damaged at Lake Lopez and they not only had it done quickly but beautifully. Their greetings and interactions are friendly and respectful. It actually feels like family to me. They always explain things in a way that I can understand. If the shop can’t get a part, they have offered options. Once they miss-ordered a part and then gave us a discount. I have always received a phone call ahead of time when there are delays, especially in this climate of national supply shortages. Oh, and I usually feel like the cost is lower than I expected. My friends and family have worked with GI Autobody multiple times over the years and every experience has been perfect. I’m never afraid to refer anyone there because I am super confident they will love it. Even though getting the car worked on is usually a scary and negative experience, kinda like going to the dentist, going to GI Autobody is particularly satisfying!!

Just picked up our 97' jeep today and WOW. Far exceeded my expectations. It's like a brand new car. Custom color looks amazing. Israel was heaven-sent! He went above and beyond to help me remotely from Chicago when my daughter needed to pay out of pocket for an accident with a friend's car. Seen their work. Looks great. My landcruiser is with them now being painted in Glacier Silver from its OEM Thundercloud. Will update once it’s done. Landcruiser done - excellent job reasonably priced. Took bmw 550i M there for front bumper repair and grill replacement. Superb work and far more affordable than SLO.

I’ve had two experiences with going with this auto body and paint shop and this last experience was the worst experience I’ve had and was not happy with how Isreal handled it. I was called to pick up my truck was told it was ready. I paid Israel after we agreed on four areas that needed to be redone. He told me to bring it back in 4-5 weeks. I don’t think he should have tried to give me my truck back with all the flaws in paint job that it had and should have been up front about it and just kept it until I was happy and it didn’t have any noticeable flaws. I was very unhappy with him not telling me and me seeing all the flaws for myself. I decided to go back a few weeks later and see if he would give me $500 back because he was unable to get my truck back in any sooner and wouldn’t put my truck before the other vehicles he had. He did not want to do that so I will have no choice but to go to small claims and get the money it will cost to fix the runs and flaws in my paint job I received on my truck. He has lost my business and will not be going back.
