I’m not happy with the work they did on my car! I wish I ever brought my car here, I brought it here because it was in my insurance network but I regret it every day, they got almost $7k to fix 2 doors and front bumper, I could have fix all of that and paint the entire car with 7k at my regular body shop that I always take my cars to. Also they charged the insurance for parts they didn’t even replace (door handles and mirror where supposed to be painted)

Avoid this place! Terrible quality of work! Gianninis returned the vehicle with a lot of corners cut and not fixed 100%: Hood wasn't flush closed, car kept pulling right with steering wheel centered, they didn't calibrate the cars' sensors so it kept giving a malfunction warning light and they even put the floor mats down without securing it(re: Toyotas floor mat scandal). Unacceptable work!

STAY AWAY from Giannini's Auto Body Shop! They had my car for 4 weeks after the initial estimate was 6 days. Best part is that all of my belongings were LOST/STOLEN from my trunk, and of course they did nothing about it. I'm a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology and should be a practicing psychologist in 3 years. I try to help people as much as I can as it's who I am and what I do. However, when people treat you so poorly, the best I can do is to warn people, so they don't get taken advantage of like I was. I will update this review if they do the decent thing and reimburse me for my "lost" belongings.

05/18/2022. I'm going to leave my comment here because I'm super disappointed with GIANNINI'S AUTO BODY, because they did a bad job on my car, and the customer service was the worst by the manager who I think is called DIAMON SMITH...they painted it of a different color than the original…then they broke some pieces around the left edge of the fender that they then glued together with glue they were not able to order a new piece…later they lost some plastic that goes around the left doors but the worst thing is that they did not say nothing… I was very angry and very frustrated and I called my insurance company so they could claim what they did to my car…..then we took the car to. ARCO`S AUTO BODY .. and ..you did a good job. The car was super good and the customer service was first class... With this message I want to convey to all the people who want to leave their car in the hands of these people... think about it several times... not because we are Latinos we have to allow us to be humiliated and mistreated... 😔

They replaced a mirror for me but it didn’t work right. They blamed the mirror. Got another and same problem. They didn’t bother to look inside the door for bending inside the door itself, so the mirror doesn’t fit properly now. They promised to buff out the tape and scrapes they made changing it. They never did. They sent me to a Chevy dealership instead (they did nothing to fix it as well). They don’t respond to messages. They meant well though.

Stop wasting your time and go to a different auto shop!! Not good at what they do. My mother went to this place which was recommended by her insurance. Her car needed new parts, some paintings and wheel repair. New parts they replaced had a huge spaces in between, the painting looked so obvious that it was not same color; and wheel repair looked very different from other wheels. She had to go there 3 times. Still horrible...we had to go to different place and pay out of pocket. And someone ate in her car and didn't clean after themselves. Very unprofessional. Also, if you call them twice, you will get 2 different answers. I don't know why they are open. Won't recommend this place at all.

I left my vehicle for a day, service was quick, but my back rubber mats were stolen. I would have given 5 star, but thier customer service is too unprofessional. I called several times to find out what happened to the mats because they are quite expensive. The response was we'll call you back once we speak to the person who worked on the car, no one ever called back, thought about going to the police. So frustrating

My mother was involved in a fender bender and the insurance company set up a repair appointment with Giannini's auto body shop. Our experience with them was really smooth. We showed up, they took some pictures of the damage and gave us a time estimate before they started working on the car. They have enterprise car rentals onsite and arranged for us to take one home. The repair did take a couple of extra days, but they called to let us know the cause of the delay. When we picked up the car, we were very satisfied with the repairs, and didn't have to return the rental car to a separate location.

This was the second time I brought my car to Giannini's Auto Body Shop. They come highly recommended by GEICO Insurance. I was in an accident and there was extensive front end damage to my car. The customer service I received from Giannini's was top notch. Nick Horsley, manager of the shop, was very thorough and kept me updated on the status of my car as well as Angie, the office manager. I also had a chance to meet Mike Gianinni, CEO, and he too was very accommodating to make sure I received the best service. I would highly recommend this place for your car repairs.

I've only had one experience with a body shop, and Mike's is it. I think as body shops go, they're probably the best you can find in SF (unless your uncle owns one and will take extra special care of you). That said, (and this comment is more for Giannini's than for customers) I think there's some room for improvement in terms of reassembling the car parts after they've been painted. My recommendation to customers is that you leave a detailed written list of items you want the shop to remember when you drop off the car (although I did this, and all the items didn't get done). In fairness, my car went through a complete paint job, and also some fairly major panel replacements, but the little things (washer nozzles installed backwards, etc) and some bigger things (not saving some plastic parts from the original bodywork) that weren't done right were annoying. On the positive side, however, the paint job is superb. The shop let me take the catalogs of paint colors out in the sun for almost 30 minutes so I could get the exact color I wanted. They worked well with my insurance company, and they always answer the phone. The place looks very professional, and there are always a fair number of high-dollar cars. Again, I would generally recommend these guys to anyone, but with some caveats to make sure you're totally satisfied. And Mike, if you're reading this, thanks a lot for the great work, and keep raising the bar for what a good shop can be.

My 2020 Acura RTX had been both vandalized and in a front end accident. After asking several friends for a referral to a autobody shop, Giannini Auto Body came highly recommended. After contacting my insurance, I dropped my vehicle off to Giannini’s Autobody and my rental car was dropped off in minutes. The owner Mike Giannini was at the office And explained the full process. While my vehicle was being worked on Nick, the estimator called periodically, giving me updates on the status of my vehicle. My car was ready in time And the quality of the work was better than any I have seen. Not only is my car back in even better condition. I was devastated when my new car was rear ended And needed to have the bumper and back quarter panel replaced. I didn’t have rental coverage. Therefore I needed a shop who could get the work done quickly, I called around mini shops in the Daly City area. Most shops couldn’t even get my vehicle in for an estimate that week, but Giannini Auto Body understood my dilemma and offered to do a same day estimate. I went to the shop and was impressed by all of the staff. Nick, the estimator inspected my vehicle and promised an estimate within the hour, the shop was clean, they had the best coffee and I was sold. I had spoke with several other shops, and they estimated having my car nearly 2 weeks. Giannini Auto Body offered to have the parts pre-ordered in the work done in a fraction of the time By utilizing their in-house calibrations. In layman’s terms, making sure my cameras and safety features work correctly the shop performed exactly as promised and they have 100% of five star review from me.

I was referred to Giannini Auto Body by my insurance carrier and I will forever be grateful. From start to finish, the staff was informative. Thoughtful and went over and beyond any auto body shop I have ever dealt with. Being without your car can be stressful They made the arrangements for my rental car and handled everything for me. The owner Mike even offered to install my headlight bulb for free after I had tried to do it myself and failed. I am a lifelong customer and highly recommend this shop.

AVOID this auto body shop at all costs. A family member was recommended to take their car here through their insurance after an accident (they were T-boned). The initial estimate they gave for the repairs was 2 weeks, but they ended up keeping the car for 1.5 months. Any time they called for updates, the story was constantly changing or their answers were vague. After picking up their vehicle so many things were still wrong with the car. They scammed insurance out of 16K. Claiming they ordered brand new parts and brand new doors (for the driver side and driver rear doors). THEY DID NOT. Parts that were ordered were after market parts… Doors were not replaced (confirmed by the dealership service mechanics), trim and other small parts were GLUED to the car and are now literally falling off! Not to mention they gave the vehicle back with the driver’s seat belt DETACHED from car’s interior body. When they called to get it fixed the service tech they spoke with said they would not be able to get it fixed for another week. According to the auto body shop there are still parts “on order” but they cannot give any information on the timeline of when these parts will arrive. It is a different story every time they call. And the receptionist is absolutely rude, no customer service skills at all. In addition to all of that, there were clear signs the vehicle was used for one of the employees personal use due to children’s toys being left in the car. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR BUSINESS.
