First, note that it's a bait and switch where they get you to prepay for a 'special' but then upsell you. That part is OK if the tint works. But really poor service, uncommunicative, didn't clean the outside of the windows (which they had smudged), detached my dashcam and just left it dangling and just stood around and watched while I tried to reinstall it. Felt scammed and sloppy work.

Saif is very knowledgeable, patient and respectful. Explained the tinting differences and gave us the options available regarding UV protection which naturally costs more. Will have to see the results when we come back to pick up the car, and see if you like the difference.

I had a terrible experience at Jet Black Tint (Burlingame) on May 22. After being referred by a Mercedes staff member, I paid $600 for front window and windshield tinting. I was told the job would be quick, but I waited over 4 hours. They forgot to give me my receipt and lifetime warranty, then called me after I left asking me to come back another day to pick it up. That would’ve already been frustrating enough, but last night I discovered they had charged me twice ($600 x 2). This morning, I called my credit card company to dispute one of the charges, then went back to their shop to explain everything and collect my documents. Instead of helping, the staff on duty was dismissive and uncooperative. He refused to email or print anything, and kept saying he couldn’t do anything unless they reviewed surveillance footage. I asked if he could call someone in charge — he refused. Only after I firmly insisted, he finally made a call to someone at the company to ask what to do. After that call, he printed my receipt and handed it to me — then sarcastically asked: “Are you happy now?” No apology. No responsibility. Just excuses and attitude. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I’m shocked by how a paying customer can be treated this way. I would never recommend this place.

TLDR: These people could not do the job the first time much less second or 3rd. The lifetime warranty is BS as Gilroy manager says that they don't cover scratches (which they do, and according to the paperwork I have) and they cheap out on you by not even cutting the tint to match some of the black parts of the glass and hope you don't notice, Didn't even bother to clean up fingerprints. Maybe for the common person, they don't care as much as I do. And everyone else seems to have a jolly ol time. But I'm going to request a chargeback soon on my card, since they also wanted to charge for re-installation if I were to take it off again... Won't recommend this place to nobody If you like your car and care about quality. I really can't understand just how unlucky my experience has been... I tried these guys out cause they had a good deal (so I thought) and at first were very nice and professional, explained to me how the job was going to be done and even offered a few recommendations. Nice. No problems there. Told me there was a lifetime warranty with no questions asked and no refund. Red flag 1. (Also no where on the paperwork says no refunds allowed btw) When I get the car back day of, I go to inspect it before I drive it off the lot and it wasn't cause I didn't trust them at the time. It's because I'm picky, and that's on me sure. But there were such obvious and frankly ridiculous flaws in the job done that I was pretty baffled and tried to be patient. Scratches and literal dust trapped in the tint that you can feel with your hand. I asked since the tint was just put on and I arrived literally 5 minutes after I got the notification that the job was done I asked if they could just take it off and give me a refund on the spot because the problem areas were nearly on every panel and the tint was still fresh so in my mind it should have been easy and a done deal. After an employee spoke to the manager, he told be that they were booked and unavailable until that next week and I just wanted the job done right the first time around. So he offered me to go to Gilroy and I did. After speaking to the Gilroy manager, he told me that they will make it right for me a couple days later. (there was another guy there having warranty work done on his car, Red flag 2) Turns out their windshield guy ain't there so I have to book another appointment to Santa Clara AGAIN to do the front windshield. And when I got back to my car there were scratches on my paint that clearly were not there before as I just bought the car and pre-inspected beforehand... surface scratches that I can buff out no problem but still a little aggravating nonetheless. And here I am a week later. I waited for the bubbling to disappear and followed their exact instruction not to roll down the windows and park in the sun and whatnot but still the same problems.

Don’t do your tint here in Burlingame. They also work with Fremont locations. They botched my car back window and will not fix it or honor warranty. This place is a scam with low skilled workers. I regret getting my car tint here. They have F rating on BBB

I would give zero star if i can. The shop opened late. Another customer had been waiting since 9:00 AM, and the shop didn’t actually open until 10:30 AM. When the manager finally arrived, he simply said 'sorry' and immediately tried to upsell me on better products. The deal-breaker, however, was the dishonesty. I was quoted for ceramic film over the phone, but when I arrived, the manager prepared to install Solar Gard Galaxie. I noticed the brochure for Galaxie did not mention 'ceramic,' unlike their other product lines. When I pressed him on it, he insisted it was a ceramic film. A quick Google search confirmed that Solar Gard Galaxie is not ceramic. This manager lost all credibility instantly. Do not waste your time or money here
