I drive a black 2017 Dodge charger, and when I tell you the weather in Hawaii has done major damage to my car's paint omg. I couldn't even tell you where to start. I had swirl marks all over from too many rough washes, ashy areas from improper use of water spot removal chemical from the prior owner, water spots all over and mini scratches. When I received my car back I was speechless. The time and quality was through the roof. Only took them about 2.5 days. Me nor any of my friends could believe it was my car. The shine made it seem like the car was wet. All the imperfections and scratches were gone. My car looked better than it did when I drove it off the lot. Hands down the best auto detailing place I’ve been to. They did my 2015 Dodge Challenger. It looked better than when I bought it. They performed a step 1 package and I couldn’t say anything less than I was impressed especially being one of those car guys who wash a quick shine his car every week. So I dnt trust my car with anyone but I was happy I trusted The Big Kids Candy Shop

I have heard about these new ceramic coatings that are out there, and there are just so many so I decided to call around. When I spoke to Johnathan he was very nice and explained everything to me since this a new territory for me. While he wasn’t the cheapest his knowledge of all the various coatings out there as well as his professionalism are the main reasons I decided to to pick his shop. When I got my car back I could not have been happier with the outcome of my car. It was so shiny and glossy and absolutely worth every penny.

I was genuinely surprised with how clean my car was when I left. My steering wheel was just one of the things that improved dramatically after the cleaning. The service was quick and the gentleman that cleaned my car was extremely professional and diligent. I even got some advice on how to maintain the cleanliness. My car looked completely different when I left, and I hadn't had it detailed ever since I bought it 7 years ago. I truly appreciated this service and I will be returning for future services.

The quick "one-liner" of this review is that Jonathan is the man, his shop is beautiful, and his work is magnificent. If you read nothing else, trust that the detailing services provided at the Candy Shop are fantastic. Here's the long story... My new WRX got blasted by some neighborhood sprinklers. Then, it sat and baked in the Oahu sun for few days. When I got back to the car, the blue paint had terrible deeply-set water spots. I called a competitor who said they could clear them up with an acid-chemical bath which would eat away the water spots. Are you kidding me? No. We aren't putting acid on my brand new car. I emailed Jonathan via Yelp, and he responded quickly, letting me know that his shop could do the work using conventional polishes, not acid. We communicated via text - he was always quick to respond and we set an appointment. When I arrived at the shop, he was waiting. I left my car for the next few hours while I went to work. He sent me pictures and videos of the progress while I was at work - a nice touch. When I picked up my car, it looked better than factory new. Seriously - the depth and clarity of my car's blue paint was spectacular. Moreover, his staff went over the products they used with me, and even showed me (and let me try) how to apply them. I loved the look of the car, and the ease of product application so much, I bought some of the products from the Candy Shop. The water spots are gone (it has been over a month), the car still gleams, and I'm very happy. I am not a fake reviewer - I live and work near Pearl City and completely endorse the Candy Shop. I typically detail my own car, and this was done better than I could do. The prices were fair, the work was done with professionalism, and I intend to return again. Thanks to Jonathan and the crew!

Online buyer beware!! Ordered Griots Garage iron and fallout remover for in store pickup. Called 5 times - no answer. Left messages - no call back. Went to the shop twice - no one there. It’s been six days since my online purchase. Total scam. Cancelled payment on my Amex. Will also let griots know.

I ordered four polishers from Johnathan through his online store. I have called several times to get updates and have yet to talk to anyone about my order. I’m guessing his online store is a scam since there’s no way to know my order has been processed or shipped. I have yet to receive a tracking number. I know for a fact my account was charged. I would not recommend this business to anyone. March 10, 2024 Thank you for responding to my review. In response to your reply to my original review, I am posting pictures I took on my computer the day I ordered the four polishers. If you need any further evidence of pricing of products, the transaction, and phone records I can provide those too. I haven't manipulated any pricing. The price is what was and is still listed on your website. I provided my phone number in my original order asking for a call and never received a call. I called the phone numbers I had for Gloss Doctors and Big Kid's Candy Shop several times. Not one time was my phone call answered. I have left messages and not a word. Suspicious? Absolutely! I would love to purchase the polishers. I don't see what you are referring to as the "actual retail price". I am more than happy to talk to you if you call. Communicating via a Google review isn't in the best interest of any business.

They applied ceramic coating to our 2 cars and the results are amazing! It is now easy to clean and they look as brand new when the cars were purchased. Nano Marine Ceramic Coating on my Beneteau Sense 50 sailboat is amazing. My boat was heavily oxidized and severely discolored and had never been polished in 7 years. Jonathan put a lot of muscle into a detail polish to restore it to a like new condition. The ceramic coating now makes water bead off the boat like water off a ducks back! I'm super impressed with Jonathan, he attention to details and his ability to restore my paint to something so beautiful. It really bothered me how bad my boat looked prior and now it's shiny new. Everyone is amazed at how well the boat stays clean - even in salt water.
