Service and friendliness was good that I’ll give them credit for. Down side? They sold me a 23’ Ford with clean Carfax. Well so I thought, the more we inspect the truck and use it now the more I find all these weird dings and dents. Trims and moldings are falling off or are loose. I brought it to their attention, and they just seem to brush it off. No actual solution since it was “purchased as it”. Well, unfortunately for me the side impact was hidden from the carfax 😕

I called to speak with a mechanic and the receptionist that answered the phone was rude and snobby she needs to be retrained on how to properly speak to a customer. I said thank you and she said "YEAH" let's just say we are lucky it was a phonecall.

I’ve been on hold for over 30 minutes. I left my 2024 truck for inspection because the first oil leak came from the transmission back in November 2024, and since then I’ve had ongoing issues. This is the only truck my boyfriend uses for work, so it’s very important to us. Yesterday, I dropped it off and have been trying to get an update on the status, but no one is answering or assisting me. It’s been more than an hour just trying to reach someone for help. Anthony, who said he was a manager, called me an hour later to say he had been in a meeting. He then called back again after another hour only to apologize and tell me that was the best he could do.

I'm very disappointed in Anthony Gomez. I brought my Sierra Duramax 1500 to service after accidentally mixing DEF with diesel. My car insurance needs photos of the damaged parts. He provided the estimate but never the images. So, how did you know if the parts were totally damaged if you did not check them? And it's been a week, I have never heard from him, so I decided to pull out my truck from the dealership.

If zero stars were an option that's what I would give. I have never been treated like this from a dealership. Took our car because check engine light was on. I had an appointment at 10:30am. I asked how long it would be for a diagnostic so I can decide to leave and get a ride home while they worked on the car. They said two hours. It took 4.5 hours. Not once did the guy Angel Ruiz give me an update until I texted the number at the 2.5 hour mark. Our car has the manufacture warranty and an extended warranty. They refused both. According to them it's "physical damage" to a part and because of that they cannot do the warranty. We just bought this car in June. They absolutely do not care about their customers just getting their money. We took our car and left. Horrible service. ** edit to add We took our car to our trusted local mechanic who we take our other cars to. Turns out what GMC claimed was "physical damage" is actually the way it's manufactured! Unbelievable. They wanted to charge us $1200 for the repair and not honor the warranty. When actually, there is nothing wrong with that part to begin with. We found out we need a more extensive diagnosis within the engine itself, which should all be under manufacture warranty. We will be filing a complaint with corporate GMC and BAR.

I took my truck in for service, the "recommended" 30k mile service. it's a glorified, over-priced oil change. They did a "Multi point vehicle INSPECTION" that I can do if I went under the car. Additionally, NONE of the fluids were refilled and one of my power steps was not working after the service. I was told it would "reset itself after a few minutes". It did not. How are my tires all a different tire pressure after a rotation ?? And this was after I drove the car home. It is absolutely ridiculous how much these places charge. and worst part is that I bought the car there a few years back. Time to learn to do the oil change myself. NOT RECOMMENDED.

I had a really bad experience at Gold Star in Salinas. From the start the interaction was uncomfortable and unprofessional. The sales helper Jesus Ortiz ( I checked the website to make sure I got the name right ) was extremely unhelpful.My questions were ignored and the overall attitude was dismissive and inappropriate. Instead of feeling respected as a customer I felt uncomfortable enough that I wanted to leave. Not the first time this has happened there either.
