Gas may be ok but there's a reason they offer a $.30/gallon discount for a car wash. The car wash is worthless & they try to make you feel bad because your car is too dirty. Then they "give you your money back" by charging you the gas discount back & refunding the balance. That's their "policy". Their started policy is $.30/gallon discount if you buy a car wash. Where I went wrong was expecting them to actually remove the dirt from my car. My bad! Fool me once.

We stumbled upon GoldStar AutoCare a few years ago. We have been very pleased with the service care taken with all of our vehicles. Their rates are great. They install quality parts. Terrible terrible service. Paid 800$ for a brand new fuel pump,fuel lines and injectors and upon inspection no fuel lines or injectors were changed. Also, asked me the problem upon arrival and I told them the exact issue and what needed fixed and was still charged 100$ for finding what’s wrong with it. do NOT recommend

I would like to take this time to publicly think gold star auto care,The unfortunate fact is that in this day and age many things Cost more money Than ever, that is why It was difficult for me when I found out how much it was going to cost going to cost to replace my AC compressor and complete all the work involved, but having a disabled son I travel around with, i HAVE to have ac, the people at gold star took care of US so well, (most of the cost was the actual cost of the compressor) they got me in and out quickly and courteously, and when within 2 weeks when my ac failed again, they rectified the additional problem quickly, at NO extra charge. I can't say enough how huge this was for me, Gold star, today you get FIVE stars!

I've been taking my cars to this shop for about 5 years now. They've always been honest, affordable, and polite. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that they no longer have a mechanic available on the weekends - this is such a huge problem for me that I find myself pretty much forced to take my car to other shops. With kids, car seats, school, etc, being without my car on the weekdays is just not possible... I really hope they eventually hire someone to start doing work on the weekends again! Edit: To the owner response - I'm aware there is someone available on the weekends but so far they've been basically incapable of doing anything we needed outside of oil changes. Even a battery drain test wasn't able to be scheduled on a weekend day. This is such a huge inconvenience! It wasn't always this way. Please go back to having someone who can do real work available on weekend days! I would love to be able to use your shop exclusively again.

I highly Recommend Gold Star Auto Care. THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE I WILL TAKE MY CAR TO. Extremely knowledgeable and personable every time I am there. They always take time to explain to me what exactly is going on with my vehicle! I have never had any issues with them and they always get my car back to me perfectly sound and in a timely manner!

DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE!!! My roommate had a nightmare situation with these people. His car had a simple key reset issue and he took it to them. They told him a price and then when he came back to get the car, they told him the price was much higher than quoted and refused to give him his car back. He paid what they initially told him. The dealership had to get involved and go get the car to return it to me and it turns out they didn't even fix anything. Not only did they lie and the problem is still there with the car but they used very shady business techniques to screw someone over. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!

Integrity matters, Goldstar wins. They had done some front end work a few months ago. Everything was great when I drove out but a few months later the front end was in trouble again. Of course at this point my concern was what was missed before. To my delight I was told that it was a part they had replaced and it was still under warranty - labor too! They could have charged me something - some shops would have found additional problems. Goldstar honored their work. I will trust them with my car from now on. Thanks!

After my go to shop closed I was recommended by my brother to try Goldstar. Called and got a appointment for Wednesday at 8am. On Wednesday at 8:30am I recieved a call with the issue and price ( which was fair) and at 10am the car was ready for pick up. Fantastic service and they kept the appointment time as stated. Thank you crew, I have a new mechanic with Goldstar!!

I have been a customer of Goldstar Auto for over a decade. I trusted them with their work, even though it was always overpriced. My recent repair was for an alternator. 2016 Buick. No battery, nothing more than an alternator. After being charged $70 for steering fluid replacement, I was hesitant, but I needed the repair immediately and other shops couldn’t have me in as quickly. Goldstar charged me $936.00. My receipt was not itemized. The shop that I called before Goldstar (because I knew they’d charge at least $700 for a $400 job) had mechanics out and couldn’t repair it until later in the week. They quoted me 200 for labor, the alt was $300. This was because they were offering me MOBILE service- coming to my home with NO GARAGE…. Goldstar charged me $936.00 for an alternator… sick is the only word for it. The honest and reasonable shop I go to now is: JB Garage and JSB Auto Sales 1901 Navarre RD SW Canton, OH 44705 Honest, reliable, and open on weekends!!!
