I had just bought a brand new electric scooter, but I was having trouble pumping up the rear tire. It was too tight to get a pump on the valve and I tried many different pumps. I decided to stop here and in five minutes they got it all pumped up for me. Free of charge. I appreciate how helpful they were, and I will be back in the future for any repairs on my car tires.

i’ve thought a lot about posting this review, and though the manager Howard tried somewhat to rectify the unfortunate customer service I received in the beginning of my service, ( simply by being more polite) it is beyond rectifying without accountability. I came in Goodyear today for a wheel alignment. Not only have I been a loyal customer to Boardman Goodyear, so has my mother and my grandmother. To make a long story short, the customer service from this new management has sullied the good name of Boardman Goodyear in my humble opinion…Because I had a question about signing something prior to knowing the price of the alignment, (not knowing I was just signing in until after this egregious interaction) or when I received my last alignment because it has been within six months, the man who was checking me in began yelling at me because I mentioned the previous employees impeccable, customer service, where he then stated “and that’s why nothing was getting done right here and we had to come and fix it” I then said is that my fault. He began to raise his voice, to the point I had to ask him two times, are you really raising your voice at a paying customer? He says no not at all, my eight year old son who was with me says are you sure about that. I asked for a manager, Howard walked out and did not introduce himself or say anything. I asked him was he the manager, he said, yes. I then asked did he hear the interaction that just took place. He stated yes some, and that he did not understand what I was upset about because all the employee asked me to do was sign to sign in. I said it’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. I have never experienced anything but great customer service prior to my experience today with two new faces. But I had to remind these gentlemen, too many times that as a paying customer, I felt uncomfortable in the way that I was being spoken to. Yelled at. This was beyond just unfriendly. Let alone in front of my child. To his credit the third time I mentioned being uncomfortable, he apologized. , However, The damage is done. Businesses seem to forget that it is the consumer, the paying customer, that’s your most important asset to sustaining a successful business. Because of the Customer service experience I had with Boardman Goodyear, they have just lost three generations of customers.

Absolutely amazing service and people there. Never been to a good year until my car decided to die out of no where, and they were the only people willing to at least look at it without hesitation. I knew there was no guarantee they would get to my car especially so last minute and with how crazy busy they were but they still managed to get it fixed that same day. Also the pricing is absolutely amazing(: thank you to everyone that works there.

Some time ago I went to good year at the Boardman location and purchased a set of tires. I bought a set of tires that are named “MAXLIFE VSB” which came with 85,000 miles warranty. I paid for hazard, restoration, etc which cost me almost $800. Around almost 47,000 miles the tires went almost bold. I talked to them about it and they asked me to pay $420 dollars for a new set of tires. The tires were meant for 85,000 miles when it barley made it to 47,000 miles. The Boardman location and I spoke to corporate and they reduce the price to almost $395 dollars with labor, taxes, etc. They wanted me to pay labor when it was their tires that went out so why should I have to pay for labor? I told them if I want to pay $400 for a new set of tires, it’ll be the same case after 45,000 miles the tires will be bold again and this brings up the total to $1200 for almost 85,000 miles. I even asked the employee if this was fair and he said he couldn’t answer that. Thank you Good Year but I’ll never visit you again for the bad tires and mistrust.
