A friend of recommended Gordie's to me to get some car repairs done. They were great. From Rick, the service counter representative, to Gary, the courtesy car driver, they were very kind and patient and helpful. They got my car in quickly and got the work done very quickly. I liked how thoroughly they were with the inspection. And their straightforwardness with I needed to have done. They sent pictures of everything and gave the recommendations. Very easy to work with. Rick was great at answering questions. I would highly recommend Gordie's to anyone who's looking to have some work done on their car.

Got my alignment & transmission fluid serviced here. They were able to squeeze me in same day and also provided a shuttle to get me just down the road. Came back again, just for an oil change. Price was appropriate, didn’t take too long, and the waiting space as nicely equipped. They did a great multi point inspection and gave me quick quotes on some future maintenance. Way better service than the typical dealership. Since it’s right down the road from my job, I’ll be back.

They do decent work, and have a relatively quick turnaround time, but they will charge an insane amount for the job. I was charged over $1000 for a coolant leak repair that only involved the replacement of two hoses and a thermostat. They billed me over $750 for 3 hours of labor. The job took them 3.5 hours at most from the time I approved it. They also tie you in by charging a non-refundable diagnostic fee upfront. So if you have a job to get to, or if your car is not drivable, they will take advantage. Very sleazy. I will not be returning again…

After months of taking my two cars back and forth to my usual shop and getting nowhere but deep into my pockets for repairs that were not correct, I brought the cars to Gordie's Auto & Tire. Gordie's was able to get both cars repaired correctly the first time and also found things my usual place was doing incorrectly, including putting wrong parts on my car and trying to "force them to fit" and corrected those as well! Both my cars (which are fairly old) run GREAT now! I cannot tell you how relieved I am to feel confident the job was done correctly based on how the cars run and not just because I am being told it's fine. Everyone at Gordie's is super nice as well. The guys up front are on top of things and they even offer rides if needed. The estimates and communication are clear, no guessing or less than confident explanations of the issue. Sean assisted me and provided great customer service. The mechanics clearly know what they are doing and provide detailed reports of their inspections/recommendations including pictures of diagnostic testing, etc. The place is pretty big, it's clean and accommodating if you choose to stay and wait. Without hesitation I am bringing my cars to Gordie's moving forward. Thanks again for all the help to Sean and the entire Gordie's team for taking great care of my cars!

Sterling Car Care truly sets the bar high when it comes to customer service! From the moment I pulled in, their attentive team was ready to accommodate my needs. They immediately noticed that the previous repair shop hadn’t fully closed my hood and quickly made room for me to pull directly into the garage. I was welcomed right into the office, and one of the gentlemen even took the time to chat with my 14-year-old son, encouraging him to keep working hard in school—a gesture that really stood out. The level of care continued when they provided me with a loaner vehicle, which I only needed for 24 hours because they were so efficient in fixing my car. They kept me informed every step of the way with text updates, so I never had to guess what was happening or worry about costs. They even helped transfer items from my trunk into the loaner vehicle! What really blew me away was their dedication to finding the best solution. Instead of waiting 4-5 days for a pricey part, they went the extra mile and drove to a parts yard to find what I needed at a fraction of the cost. The previous shop quoted me $1500, but Sterling Car Care got it done for $800! Huge thanks to Sean and the entire team for exceeding expectations and delivering top-notch service. You’ve earned a loyal customer for life! 🚗👏

EDIT (August 2025): Not sure I can recommend Gordie's anymore due to an unfortunate experience. Policies have changed, and for the worse. A non-factory alignment now costs over three times as much, which by itself would not be a huge issue if the quality was the same but this is not so. On 8/25 I took my 2007 Saturn Sky in for an alignment service, and because I wanted a certain alignment spec and because this car has aftermarket struts, I was charged $370 for a "High Performance" alignment with no warranty. I trusted that the end result would be worth it, but it seemed that Kevin was being rushed to "just get the job done" which resulted in multiple mistakes and wasted time. These included two bolts left backed out and loose (which I noticed during a stop on the way home), forgetting the alignment spec I requested (he tried to set a factory alignment instead, until I pointed it out), unnecessarily degraded caster angles, and a crooked steering wheel. I immediately returned to have the issues corrected, and because the "High Performance" alignment has no warranty Kevin was not allowed to properly correct the issues. He did at least tighten the loose bolts and verify that the steering wheel was "off", so good on him, but they stopped him while he was trying to correct the steering wheel. It is not the increased cost of the service that bothers me (economy is what it is etc), but the worsened quality of service. For the record, I do not blame Kevin for this. He does amazing work when he is allowed to. If management does not want to offer the same level of service for non-factory cars/alignments, then simply DO NOT OFFER THEM to begin with. This time I honestly feel ripped off. ORIGINAL REVIEW (5 stars): Great place - I can easily recommend them. I was referred to Gordies by OAKOS, which had used them to perform the alignment on a friend's WRX after they installed an aftermarket suspension system on his car (OAKOS does not perform alignments on-site). It's difficult to find a shop that will perform a non-factory alignment, and even more difficult to find one that will do it well. Keith at the front desk and Kevin the alignment guru are both very attentive and professional. They were very accommodating and did not try to rush the job and shove me out the door. They took the time to do it right. Kevin seems to enjoy his work, which really shines through in the end result. I only wish they were closer to my home, but that is not their fault and the quality is worth the drive.

My initial review of Gordies Auto & Tire was going to be a negative one. Had issues with service and costs Prior to publishing that review, I sent it to the owner who, to my amazement, called me within five minutes. After a discussion it was determined that because of miscommunication, I was given incorrect information about my vehicle repair and the associated costs. After determining that an error had occurred on the businesses side, the owner did EVERYTHING in his power to make things right to include a refund, personal drop off service of myself and my vehicle once repairs were performed. I’m certain Gordies is a professional shop capable of performing small and major auto repair services. But their major selling point, is that they have an owner willing to go the extra mile to retain an unhappy customer. I would highly recommend Gordies Auto & Tire.

These guys were outstanding in responding to my needs. I needed to have my tire swapped immediately and they saw me the same day. Of course I had to wait for a while, but that was expected. They went above and beyond and getting my tires installed, putting the spare tire back in and even installing my sub woofer which I had disconnected, not expecting for them to put back in. Their customer waiting area was one of the most comfortable and cleanest I’ve seen. And their customer service person was friendly and prompt. Would definitely return and recommend this shop.

I had a great experience at Gordie's Auto care. I've gone before with my other cars when it was Sterling Car Care. The service and care is the same. I definitely will be back in the future. My car was having issues with heat, it would turn on occasionally or not at all . The Gordie's knowledgeable team had my car warm and toasty and ready early the next morning. Thank you everyone.
