Waste of time. Met Mr. Haufstetler and after informing them that we had our own financing set up, they STILL ran credit on both of us (putting a hit on), gave us an insulting offer on our trade in, and questioned my husband’s military career. We found our vehicle somewhere else. Thanks for the 3D printed grocery bag holder though.

Brand new cx-50 purchased from Gorman McCracken in April of 2024, before taking delivery it was pointed out car had a scratched on the passenger front door , was documented in paperwork and told it would be repaired, took over 30 days to get a repair scheduled, once finally scheduled to be repaired , after much complaint a loaner car was given , was told it could be repaired in 1 days , whoever by the end of business that day I was notified it was not finished that it would be 1-2 more days before car would be complete , when asked if we could come get the car seat that was left in car and was told the car was no longer in Longview “car was moved without permission to Gilmer” . When car was complete instead of painting the entire door a parking lot repair job was done in the middle of door, I believe my 7 year old son could have completed a better repair than this with his crayons , photo attached in comments of subpar repair I have never in my life seen a dealership do a no warrantable repair on a brand new vehicle . From start to finish everything was a horrible experience, I would not buy a bicycle from Gorman!! When trading the car in we had to pay a reputable repair shop to repair the door per oem specs. This dealership should be ashamed of the horrible service provided! to your response "since this is the only way I can respond", so you think doing a parking lot spot repair on a brand new car is acceptable? Would Mazda say that is the correct way to repair a vehicle? Bottom line you took advantage of a young woman, and hoped it would not be seen, so your not going to pull money off an trade due to damage, or a panel that looks like Krylon was used to repair? What it boils down to instead of using a body shop to correctly repair the door you went the cheap way and used an parking lot gypsy to repair a brand new car. As stated above your customer service was poor from start to finish.

Overall good experience. Salesman didn't rush me and let me ask all my questions. I live in Tyler and didn't want to drive back to Longview to pick up plates so they mailed them to me. I appreciate that. Only reason it's not 5/5 is the dealer markup of approximately $2500 on the Mazda 3 I bought. This is in 2024, not 2021. After negotiating (which I dread every time I buy a vehicle), they removed it and sold car slightly under MSRP. So everything worked out well. Would definitely buy again here.

I highly recommend Gorman McCracken Mazda. I have been shopping for a new mid size SUV to replace my Honda Pilot. After much consideration and research, I chose to purchase a new 2024 Mazda CX-90. No regrets on my decision in a competitive space of vehicles. My salesman (Darby) was professional and knowledgeable. He was not too aggressive or pushy. He simply let his product sale itself. He treated me with courtesy and respect. I decided to move forward and negotiate a fair deal on my trade, financing, and new purchase. It was not confrontational or abrasive. Just business. In the end, I got a great vehicle and a fair deal at a local dealership. I value time as much as money. Darby kept the deal moving forward in a professional manner. I enjoyed the convenience of doing business locally. That was also of value to me with my busy schedule. If you’re looking for a great vehicle and professional experience, check out the Mazda line up at Gorman McCracken Mazda. I’m sure all their employees are well trained. However, I recommend asking for Darby for a great experience.

If you asked me a year ago this review would have been 1 star. When my car broke down in Longview I was apprehensive about getting it serviced here. I was SO happy with the service I received. Everyone was so kind and the tech was honest and I didn’t feel like they were trying to gouge me for more money. Vehicle purchasing was okay, but trying to get in touch with other services such as finance is a nightmare. I spent 2 days trying to get in contact over the phone with them, only for them to tell me that it's a service that can only be completed on the weekdays. I called early morning Friday and got the response on Saturday. Sure they may be busy, but I was told they would get in touch with me end of day on Friday. It was important to get a response on Friday because I live hours away and have to plan the following day around that.

TJ Dade was our sales lady today on October 23 2025. First she had charisma and then she had the knowledge. She knew all the points to hit on to sell a vehicle. Then she brought us out one in the color we wanted and showed us all the spoils we could buy into and showed us how each operated. She was patient and charming and knowledgeable. They did not give me good service. They sold me a car with problems and they tried to cover it up. I feel they set me up and this is October 30th i got the car from them September 6th and I’m having a come out of pocket to put in an airbag and probably more problems.

I purchased a 2025 Mazda CX-50 Turbo, and unfortunately I have been unhappy with it almost from day one. GORMAN MCCRACKEN, LONGVIEW! The buying experience itself was extremely uncomfortable. I felt a lot of pressure to make the purchase and honestly felt like I wasn’t leaving until I agreed. That experience alone left a bad impression and has definitely contributed to how I feel about the vehicle overall. As for the car, I’ve had ongoing issues with the key fob and automatic locking system. About half the time the car does not lock when I walk away, leaving me unsure whether it’s secure. When approaching the vehicle, placing my hand on the door handle is supposed to unlock it automatically, but it frequently fails to respond. I have replaced the batteries in both key fobs multiple times and the issue still persists. There is also noticeable wind noise while driving, and the car has developed rattles, which is disappointing for a vehicle this new. Another frustration is the app subscription. After paying this much for a vehicle, it doesn’t seem right that features connected to the car require an ongoing paid subscription. The app should reasonably be included for the lifetime of the vehicle. I did give the dealership two opportunities to address these concerns, but unfortunately my second visit was an even worse experience than the first. Because of that, I no longer feel comfortable taking the vehicle back there for service. Overall, this has been a very frustrating experience. If I’m being honest, if I had the option to return the vehicle, I would. UPDATE : After posting this review, the dealership responded asking me to call the number listed. I did call, but the person I spoke with had no knowledge of my situation or the review and could not assist me. That was frustrating because I expected someone familiar with the issue to follow up. At this point I am considering reaching out to Mazda Customer Experience so the concerns with both the vehicle and my dealership experience can be reviewed. I would still welcome the opportunity for a manager or someone from the dealership to contact me directly to address these issues.
