I recently switched to Gottman's after receiving MULTIPLE referrals from people I trust, one of whom is a retired mechanic himself who will ONLY take his cars to Gottman's. So, naturally, my expectations were a little on the high side. Well, I was NOT disappointed. Their whole operation smacks of integrity, quality, and genuine care about the 'health' of the vehicles they work on. Their prices are quite fair, too. They are always professional and respectful, and always responsive. As a single female, they (Matt and Joe) do not talk down to me, they are NEVER pushy, and are always willing to listen carefully as I fumble around sometimes in trying to explain (in my car-mechanics-are-like-a-foreign-language-to-me way) what my car "symptoms" are. They are so good about then taking time to explain what they think is needed, including any options there may be, plus the pos and cons of each. They are quickly earning my lifetime loyalty. Thankful to find them!

Followed (mechanic) Steve from a previous shop some 20 years ago after he moved to Gottman's. As I understand, he moved because new owners at the previous shop were not honestly talking care of their customers. As a rural mail carrier using my own vehicle, I have relied on owner Joe, Matt, Steve, and all to keep me on the road through numerous issues. Never disappointed over the last 20 years. Tough to get an appointment because they're booked out so far. We were looking for a new mechanic and decided to try these folks based on the reviews and the fact they're close by. They solved the immediate problem and found some other serious issues that are going to take a while to sort out but they are working with us to get it done. So far I'm impressed with the level of customer service and rates seem reasonable. I'll probably upgrade to 5 stars if things continue to go well.
