paid nearly $400 nearly 2 months ago to replace the gasket on the oil pan of my 2011 jetta. took it to another mechanic for something else, come to find out the gaskets still leaking and they overtightened the plug- stripped the threads so now its leaking from there and the plug cant be removed. Whole pan needs replacement now! They also said they put new oil in- they just poured the old oil back in. Last, my car had a cover to protect the underside of the engine that was damaged and dragging on the road. they offered to remove it as it was a hazard, and I said yes. they didnt remove it properly, just ripped it apart so part of it was left on and cutting into one of my tires, so now that tire needs replacement too. I am absolutely livid and will never return here. tldr; paid for a botched repair that is costing me thousands to fix

Steve at GST installed a replacement engine in my 2004 Ford F150 p/u. He and his crew were awesome in getting it done quickly, and without any problems. I definately would go back to GST if/when I have any more issues in my truck, or ANY vehicle I own.

Steve is AMAZING!!!!! Very few mechanics out there you can trust to be honest and keep things reasonable. I came to him with an over heating car. He found out I was leaking coolant and had a significant oil leak. At this moment I saw nothing but $$$$. Steve didn't gouge me, he didn't upsell me, he merely told me what it could be in the minor sense and major sense. He explained the labor and why it would be high. I didn't feel taken advantage of and agreed. He told me what I needed. Gave me the option to get it from the dealer or buy it myself. I ordered it, he installed it.. Car is running fine... no complaints

This place is honestly the best place ever! Steve is the one to go to. He's the owner. I've been a customer with him for the past 8 years and has always given me the best option available. I own a 2003 Ford Mustang and because of him, my car still runs like new, passes smog whenever needed, and has even helped in making it save a bit more gas than other Mustangs do. His prices are the best around and he is completely honest with what needs to be done with your car. And ALL his employees are the same. Each of them truly know what they are doing. This is a great shop I was introduced to it by my son with his GT 3000. I was their when he was talking about repairs on his car. This man is all about respect and fixing cars the correct way. I came to GST for a diagnosis back in April as I was stuck scratching my head on a pretty major issue my 2002 Yukon was having. I was having some pretty serious misfires that I had done a lot of work on trying to figure out the root cause. After throwing testing a lot of stuff and throwing parts at it, I had come to the conclusion that it had to be an internal motor issue, but I had to be certain. I dropped my truck off and after a couple of days Steven gave me a call to come by, and he confirmed my suspicious, he said it was the cams. So I took that diagnosis and ripped apart my 5.3 Vortec in my backyard, and I found that the intake lobe and my intake lifter for Cylinder 2 was chewed up. I slapped it back together with all new gaskets, lifters, lifter trays, and a cam. I started her up and voilà, no more misfire. Steven's diagnosis was spot on, and I'd recommend him highly if you ever need an expert with vehicles.
