Staff was very unprofessional and looked like they barely cleaned the interior. They tried to charge me extra because there was some sand on the removable floor mats. Would never recommend to friends.★☆☆☆☆ 4 years ago

My car is literally a night and day difference between what she was before to what she is now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this business to anyone who is looking to get their car detailed. Living in Hawaii I had so much sand all over the leather seats, floor mats, door handles, etc. and when I got her back four hours later she looks show room new.★★★★★ 7 years ago

I called and asked about detailing the interior of my car seemed ok for the first few minutes Fast talking availability right away during this covid time. I asked if he removed the seats and cleaned in between the seats he said “no thats an interior restoration” I said ok some places do and some places don’t but thats fine thought i’d ask for the price. He said “ we’ve been open 21 years blah blah blah blah (more fast talking) can keep your appointment or go somewhere else” Yeah i’m going somewhere else with better phone etiquette and customer service.★☆☆☆☆ 5 years ago

DO NOT GO THERE! I’d give it no star if that’s an option. Price gauging and took advantage of women who didn’t argue with them. Got my carpet clean because I spilled coffee on the carpet, had the smell and after the guy charged me $100 bucks for cleaning ONE SINGLE CARPET, the smell didn’t go away. Went to another detail shop and they had to replace my entires front carpet because they suspected when the guy do the cleaning, he actually pushed the splash/smell deeper into the carpet. The detailing sucks and overcharge, no aloha and no caring for the ohana. DO NOT GO!★☆☆☆☆ 3 years ago

They left me hanging! Completely unprofessional! I booked an appointment for a wash and wax at 11:15am and dropped it off at 11:10am. They said it would be ready at 12:30pm. They called at 12:15 to say they needed until 1;30pm and I said o.k. I showed up at 1:45pm. One guy was hanging out and another was working on a car. They then notified me that they didn't have time to wash or wax my car and made some excuses about a customer taking his keys with him. I asked if they could do a quick wash but refused. They didn't offer any solutions or alternatives. I wasted a whole bunch of time and they didn't care.★☆☆☆☆ 4 years ago

These 5 star ratings must be from friends and family of this business. They are either prejudice to Asian women or are getting away with over charging naïve customers. My wife went in to have just the front passenger side floor shampooed. Drink was spilt over weekend, but thankfully we have rubber all weather floor mats and the regular floor mat under. Still some of drink hit main carpet so we thought would be best to just have shampooed. They charged my wife $100 ($108 after tax), for the front passenger floor which had a minimal spillage on it. Floors were clean and well kept, prior to spill issue. When I saw charge of $108, I called and spoke to the manager named David and asked how much they charge for full interior details. He said starts at $150 for full interior. He proceeded to claim that he had to wash floor 15 times and that he fogged AC. An area 2ft x 2ft with a spill area concentrated to maybe a 4 inch area... Not to mention, when my wife first came to pick up suv, David stated to her that if smell from spill is lingering that they can try another method like fogging AC. The same fogging that he told me that he already did plus the 15 washings, to try justifying such a crazy charge. David proceeded to get defensive, so I asked what they are willing to do on price, because had I gone down to pay, there is no what that I would have paid $108, for such a small clean up shampoo job. He had to go discuss with the other manager Adam. David called me back and said they will cancel initial charge of $108 and instead charge $50. Still ridiculous, for such small job, but we agreed. (Both the $108 and $54 with tax charges are still showing pending) Two days later, I just randomly received a charge for $118 on my credit card from Hawaiian Island Auto Detailing. I called immediately, when notified and the manager Adam answered. I stated that we just received a charge for $118 on my wife's card. He became very short with me and told me that they just charged $118, because they thought that they mistakenly over refunded us...? A simple look at their transactions receipts from just a couple days prior would have shown the transactions. Instead, they go ahead and do an unauthorized charge of an amount that isn't even the amount from either charges... Adam was rude and kept interrupting me, when I was asking him to clarify where the amount for the $118 charge came. He seemed bit stuttering and in a rush to shut me up. I tried explaining to him which charges on the credit card are showing pending, but he seemed lost and angered by me calling. I told him to lose the attitude and quit cutting me off mid sentence, because I just received a notification for an unauthorized charge on my credit card and all I am doing is calling to figure it out. Ladies be warned. This place seems to be getting away with taking advantage of customers being naïve★☆☆☆☆ 3 years ago

There were fast having only 2 cars. I felt they were thorough, for the price I feel is fair. The guy I really would have liked to see was off. Heard he's good in buffing, has done black cars before. It appears that including myself they are 600 plus interested vehicles that look at reputable especially long jevity detailing (auto)!. To interested life in the tropics islanders, tourists wouldn't have their rentals detailed. I was introduced to this product called Shine Armor obtainable via online, there's another that competes called Torque detail for the price Shine armor. I've purchased 4 bottles kit comes with 1 bottle with 2 premium microfiber towels. I did my car in half hour and didn't even perspire. NO Buffing, Just Spray and wipe. It's Advanced 3 in 1 Ceramic coating, directions said on plastic trim, rubber, glass, wheels. So I sprayed half of roof and it was like wiping water off immediately roof became smooth and Shine I never saw since I started waxing my hot rods in high school, everyone in my complex saw me finishing about 6:30 started at 6. Every one was complementing the finished. Chrome shinier, water just runs off whole car and supposedly protection from elements. It also filled in cracks and crevices. Directions says 1.spray on 2.wipe off 3. Admire results I'm not endorsing any product and I wouldn't lie or fabricate. If anyone is interested I'll take a photo of the box shine armor, you try it then you'll believe me. I paid Hawaiian detailing and they did terrific cleaning inside and out. Honestly my shine way shinier!!! They already have polyurethane that supposedly better than Ceramic. No Big Thing totally content Shine Armor. Aloha★★★★☆ Edited 4 years ago

This place is a glorified car wash at best. After a 'full service interior' for $210, grime and dirt left in the center console, no treatment on the dashboard, fingerprints still all over the side panels. The location is inside of a parking garage so it's hard to see if they did a good job. I think they may have a hard time seeing if things are clean as well. Granted, I called them and they had me bring the car in to do another round. It was a little better but still not great. When I asked if they apply any kind of conditioner to the dash, they seemed confused. Seems like at most, they vacuum and shampoo the seats and clean sand, but this is not a full service detailing.★☆☆☆☆ 4 years ago

Would give ZERO stars if I could! I spoke with a guy named Adam and scheduled an appointment and was told that someone would be at the lot at drop-off time and to call the number if not. No one was at the lot, and when we called the number, no one answered. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. He was also very rude on previous calls. He had told me on the first call: "We don't pick up when you call cause that's not how it works. You don't call us. We call YOU." After reading other customer reviews, it makes sense since they apparently never learned basic manners and are prejudiced against Asian women. Even if you're not an Asian woman, save yourself plenty of time and headache and go elsewhere for car detailing. I'm sure they would have done a HORRIBLE job on the car even if they were present. They shouldn't even be allowed to call themselves "Hawaiian Island" because they clearly lack any aloha spirit.★☆☆☆☆ Edited 2 years ago

Not sure who the workers were but they seemed like high school kids washing cars for minimum wage. Requested to get the grime off my car on the exterior and they charged me an additional $50 on top of the $150 they already charged me for a full detail. When I came back, I could still see a little bit of it on the sides. The interior was wet on the back seat when I inspected it. Not sure what they did but it was a half @$$ job. The only reason why I went there is because it's within walking distance from where I live at and was convinient for me. Never again. Don't get mad at the customers. Train your workers to do a better job and learn proper business etiquette! And to reply to the owner, yes Adam I am sure with the location. I walked there myself. Lol. Plus my girlfriend had her car detailed out of convenience with the same pricing unfortunately.★☆☆☆☆ Edited 2 years ago

I cannot say enough good things about Hawaiian Island Auto Detailing! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. The Adam and his team are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it easy to trust them with my vehicle right away. Their work is second to none—they were unbelievably thorough, paying attention to every last detail inside and out. My car looked better than the day I bought it! They clearly take pride in their craft and don’t cut corners. On top of that, they were extremely professional in all communications and very timely—they finished exactly when they said they would, with no surprises or delays. It’s rare to find a service that combines high-quality results with such excellent customer care. If you’re looking for a detailing service that goes above and beyond, this is the one. Highly recommended!★★★★★ 9 months ago
