I dropped my truck off on May 24, 2021 and it was determined the top of the engine would need major repairs. They had my truck for 19 months, during which they lied and lied and lied. When I finally had my truck hauled off on a rollback I realized the engine was not reinstalled correctly, my truck body had been damaged, the ac compressor was not installed correctly, the engine mounts were not aligned, many bolts and other small parts were missing, they lost my coils, my truck bed was full of beer cans and trash, my grill mounting tab was snapped off, tail light was broken, etc., the list keeps going. I advise everyone to steer clear of these liars. I am now paying another mechanic to fix the mess they made.

DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC...the list of unprofessional circumstances I went through over the last couple of weeks is astonishing. When I originally called I asked if they had time for my car bc its my only car and I was moving two hours away (i had about 10 days before i moved) Scott the owner said yes bring it in we will look at it tomorrow (this was a Wednesday), no call Thursday, I called twice Friday was told Scott was at lunch both times left my number and he never called me back, the whole weekend past no call. Monday I finally drive there after getting no answer...at this time im told the car hasnt been looked at yet and he is short staffed on mechanics (but wait I had asked if he had time five-six days prior)..Tuesday nothing Wednesday nothing finally on Thursday I am told he had a wire specialized look at it, i called later that afternoon was told how he was out money now bc he spent $150...during this next weekend I move two hours away (preplanned and why I needed the car fixed in a timely manner) I spend the next week calling daily (mostly bc no one ever answer the phone) By Friday i call and spend money to have a automotive locksmith go to see if its a key issue, its not. Finally decide to pay to have the car tower to a Ford dealership...Ford calls today to let me know my car is a total loss...Scott and his employees cut my wires, engine harness, the fuse box completely destroyed...Scott has been rude, unprofessional, lied, and ultimately destroyed my only vehicle...i have now spent $1,000 on a rental car (i have three kids, no family in this state and needed to be able to get them enrolled in their new schools) $67 for the locksmith, $68 for the tow from Holland to Ford and another $99 to have Ford do a diagnosis....and I DONT HAVE A CAR!!

Short Version: In my experience, Holland conducts business with honesty, has expert staff, and their prices are reasonable. Now that I’ve found them, I won’t be taking my car anywhere else. Long Version: My 2015 Honda sprung a transmission leak after only 44K Miles (Thanks Honda! Great Job!) The search for a repair shop ended up in the usual, annoying mishmash of opinions and pricing. They ranged from “need to replace the transmission” to “Don’t worry about it. This is normal.” HA?! And prices were, of course, all over the map too. I decided to try Holland based on the Google reviews. In the process, I discovered their reviews are well-deserved. Mike listened to my “Internet diagnosis,” without being dismissive. He then told me that while the internet may be right, he thought the problem was likely with the pressure sensor. His opinion was based on the visual inspection of the top of the transmission, as in the car was not on a lift and he could not see the lower part of the transmission. Harrison inspected the transmission after putting it up on the lift but there was too much fluid leakage to really tell where it may have originated. So they cleaned the bottom of the car, and had me drive around for a while. Once I returned, they put it up again and this time Harrison confirmed the leak was from the pressure sensor. The part was not available, they ordered it and I came back the next day. The put up the car again and fixed it. That was Thursday. Today, Monday, I went back and Kelly inspected the car to make sure there were no other problems. There weren’t. They didn’t charge me for today’s inspection. I appreciate their expertise, honesty, and making sure the repairs were done right the first time. They made a repeat customer out of me.
