I want you to know I have been coming to this place since they first opened. Things have certainly changed, I always trusted them before. However they have now lost my trust and my family and friends business forever. I am giving one star because there is no way to do a zero star review. Charged for 2 test that they say they done with no evidence it was performed. Wanting to charge over $5200.00 for a repair when the standard rate is $3000 for same repair. Shame on you. You won’t last much longer with this kind of service.

Alex and the team at Hummel’s Automotive went above and beyond to fix our car. The EVAP canister needed to be replaced, but several times, the parts from the dealership turned out to be faulty, new out of the box — a common issue with this make and model. Even with all those setbacks, they kept at it, testing, adjusting, and ultimately finding a creative and reliable solution. They worked tirelessly to get our car back to us and kept the cost reasonable. I highly recommend Hummel’s and will definitely go back again!

I drive a Hyundai and the check engine light came on so I called Hummel’s to see if I could get my car in and they fit me in that same day. After diagnosing it they said I needed a new engine but that they called Hyundai and Hyundai has a warranty right now that would replace my entire engine for free. They gave me the name of someone who could tow my car to the dealership and I left there feeling like they went above and beyond to help me. They could have easily ripped me off because I had no idea about Hyundai’s engine warranty. They saved me a lot of money and were very helpful.

I went here for a discounted oil change and great job I did however need a diagnosis and they gave me a very thorough check with pictures and ideas about what could be wrong but the prices were double what my local works out of his garage mechanic was going to charge me so just keep that in mind. Also they left a dirty rag in my engine compartment and I had to ask them to reattach some components after they were all done with it plus they left my trunk open, it took a mile of driving for me to finally realize but im sure the experience can vary. Overall a decent choice for mechanics if you can afford em just make sure to give your car a once over before you leave.

What keeps me coming back, though, is the customer experience. They are so helpful, going the extra mile to dig deeper into my warranty or give me a ride when I have to leave my truck. This was my first time at Hummels. I believe it is a family owned business. If you are looking for great service, great work, and your vehicle delivered back to you squeaky clean. Then Hummels is the place to go. They are great people to work with, they will explain every detail to you including price before they start the work. I’ve always had a great experience with Hummel’s. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! I’m impressed with all the maintenance/repair work that they’ve done for me. They do a thorough inspection and educate you on what they recommend but are never pushy about it. Today they left a treat in my car that just shows they care about the client experience. (They also have snacks and drinks while you’re waiting)

What can I say, over the top experience! I’m so grateful for Hummel’s repair shop!! My husband and I went on a birthday getaway for a few days, our check engine light appeared just as we arrived to St George. My husband knew it was imperative to get our Jeep to a repair shop. Hummel's Automotive has been my go-to for service on my 2003 Tundra and our other vehicles since we moved to St George back in 2021. They've always done a really great job on every service and repair. Their prices are reasonable, and I really appreciate their customer service. Cody and Sebastian at the service desk always keep me informed as to what is needed and what may be needed in the future. Definitely no oversell or pressure. Called Hummel’s Automotive today to get an oil change. They normally do oil changes by appointment only, but they were able to fit me in the same day, which I really appreciated. They took photos of everything they found on my vehicle and emailed them to me in an invoice so I could review everything on my own time. My vehicle is older, so I knew there were some issues, and they were thorough in identifying all of them. The staff was super friendly and very professional over the phone also. Overall, a great experience!!
