Import auto is the best in town when it comes to fixing foreign cars they are very knowledgeable and attentive, very professional and will get your car in and out..also they are very honest if they don't see something wrong major with your car they will tell you it's just something small instead of lie to you just to get your money..I wouldn't take my car anywhere else and recommend any and everyone to take your foreign car to import auto if you want it done right..

I was very impressed with Import Auto Works for my first experience! Understandably, their schedule is busy but when I first called to make an appointment, the lady on the phone was very nice and helped me get scheduled for diagnostics on my 2010 BMW E90. When I went for my appointment, the interior of the shop is very clean and open. Most shops feel like I'm stuck in a corner in a broken chair but this place felt like home. They have a waiting lounge with a couch and chairs, TV, complimentary coffee and water, snacks, and even a phone charging station! The lady said my diagnostics would take about an hour and I didn't have to wait longer than what she said. The technician explained things in depth and how these issues occur. He took the time to make sure I knew what was wrong and he was also very friendly. I also appreciate this is a family business and I will always trust them to take care of my BMW from now on.

Had an airbag light on a car that no one in town would even look at in my car. Called and asked if they would at least look at the code in the car. They pulled the codes and gave me some print offs on what the codes were. 10/10. Ill be brining a future car in here once im back to a german vehicle.

This place is not a legit mechanic European shop. My car goes there for one job, I get called about another job.l that has to happen. Long story short they didn’t fix neither issue so my car came back in the same shape and in a worse state that it Arrived there in. Technician/mechanic said the car was all put back together once the car arrived back at my destination nothing was secured properly. When the car arrived at my destination. The hood didn’t close properly as well. Battery was completely dead Informed that the car was able to run. Once it arrived at my destination the car did not start nor does it run. The car was worked on previously before it arrived at their location. This feels like it was a waste of time and waste of money to get told something and pay for something that was already done before. This should be unacceptable in any workshop/mechanical shop If the technician/mechanic couldn’t fix it, he should have just informed me before throwing parts at it and accusations. And apparently they have one day shipping for parts🤷🏽‍♂️ I’m not leaving this review to bicker or rant But to say that this place is just there for the money and should be working in a garage instead of an actual shop. It will be nice to get in touch with the actual manager of the business. To get personal that actually cares about the customer and there needs not how much there willing to spend.

We have gone here for years for another vehicle but recently needed a different vehicle checked out. Laithan was thorough in his explanations of services recommended, I was notified of what was happening along the repair route, and I feel like my concerns were heard. The only issue I have that we noticed after the fact was that our vehicle reeks of smoke now, which having asthmatic and smoke sensitive family members isn’t ideal. Update- we used two containers of baking soda and purchased a 3 pack of air fresheners and after a few days it dissipated. We don’t believe anyone smoked in the vehicle as it was more concentrated in the drivers seat so just permeation after a cigarette break most likely. Laithan did call and offer a deionizer fix which was very reassuring to know he reads reviews and takes measurements to rectify customer concerns.

I also needed a print out from my email and they even printed that out for free and in a very friendly and respectful fashion. My college student needed an oil change on a German car which can be a bit tricky and sometimes they get taken advantage of. Not at Import Auto Works!! The process of making a reservation was great as was the instant communication when the car arrived for service. This was a really great experience and it's likely that we will drive from Nashville to Clarksville to have work done on our other vehicles. It was that good and would be worth the trip.

Had this pop up on my 2019 VW. At first they were not able to replicate the Christmas tree of warning lights. The mechanics called me and we talked through scenarios and they took it for another drive where it eventually happened. Ultimately, the issue was fairly simple. An error done by the VW dealership itself. With all these lights they could have pulled a doozy on me but they didn’t! Simple input in the computer and we are good to go :) I have 3 Euro cars and won’t be hesitating to take them here for all their services.
