I went to go get new rear brake rotors and pads and get a new starter. From the jump these guys knew what they were talking about, I didn’t have to do any explaining. Not only are the REAL professionals but they are patient, quick, and they’ll work with you. For these guys to be new they sure know how work the business the right way. I would recommend these guys to anyone and I usually don’t like to go to mechanics to fix my car but the staff at island auto care definitely changed my mind!

They were informative and told me that my oil filter was not changed although when I bought car at lujacks they had been charging oil but not filter. The only complaint I have is island auto should have cleaned the oil up they spilled from filter. Oil was on alternator and belts and electrical plug-ins and upper part of splash gaurd. They haven't contacted me back from the email I sent them to make it right. Now I hope they did everything right. I had full synthetic oil change.

Brought my truck in for low oil pressure. They hooked it up to the computer and then proceeded to look it out online. Didn't instill me with much confidence. Charged me over $100 to "fix" it and I still have the same problem. Never go back there

We heard a snap sound and then grinding while driving our car, luckily we weren't far from this shop so pulled in there. One of our rotars had snapped, our brakes were bad and there were some other issues. They got us in right away, fixed everything for a great price and we had our car back same day. Hands down the best auto repair experience we've ever had.

Drove 2 hours to look at a car they had on their lot for sale. It was extremely misrepresented. In fact, it had a bullet hole in the side if it, doors were different colors, rust etc. All of this was undisclosed and not represented by the listing. I would not recommend doing business with this dishonest business.

Maybe they were having a bad day. Maybe they have no time or patience for older people. But I brought my 78 year old mother with her vehicle to get a simple oil change. They were very rude and even suggested that she should have gone somewhere else for her oil change. I have never seen such rude customer service in my life. I felt so bad for my mom. She couldn’t wait to get out of there and said she’d never go back. If this is how they treat the elderly, I will make sure everyone I know avoids this shop. Wow…

I stopped into Island Auto Care on a saturday for a used car inspection. The charge was much lower than inspected (under 40 dollars) and the inspection was thorough. The technician showed me all of the repairs in need of attention and allowed me to make an informed purchase . This was invaluable as i traveled a decent distance to look at the van. I did purchase the vehicle and was able to negotiate a somewhat better price thanks to a thorough inspection! I didn't have to wait around long and was very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the services!

Dangerously incompetent. I had break pads changed there and they did a horrible job. First they put Anti-Seize on the pads. Which ruined the rotors. First time driving it the breaks hot driving it that it was smoking and did damage to calipers. When I took it in there they kept telling me the owner will be in at 9 then 11 then 1. He never showed then they got him on the phone he said it was his they off. Did not take ownership of the situation. Ended up having to take my vehicle somewhere else and have to replace both back orators and pads because of the anti seize put on them.

On three different occasions I have taken my truck here to get the spark plugs cleaned. Every time I went the workers who work there done a good job. So I figured I would take it again to try and get the spark plugs clean. This time the owner, said they don’t do that here and had the audacity to tell even me I never got my spark plugs cleaned there before like I was lying. The owner was very rude and he smelled heavenly of weed smoke. I would stay away from this business and find another more professional place to service your vehicle.

This place has by far been the best shop I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and efficient, they go out of their way to get the issues with your vehicle resolve in one visit, even if it takes them two trips on their own to the auto parts stores just to get you out on time and not having to wait or come back. Not to mention the great tea and coffee brewing experience there. My car got the best treatment and I walked out of there happy and did more than what I expected to get done for the wonderful price. Extremely reasonable there! If they had a 10 star I would have given it to them!!!!

Took my hummer h3 2007 for oil change.. they supposedly did the oil change and supposedly changed the filter. I was given the ok that it was done so i went home. When i pulled up into my drive way i noticed oil dripping from the oil pan into the driveway.. i said maybe they did not screw the oil pan bolt in all the way. Come to find out they never took the oil pan guard off and did not change the filter. They apparently took the bolt out to drain while the guard was still on and let the oil drip down on the guard and left the old filter on cause they were too lazy to take the guard off.. prior to that i had taken my f150 ford for an oil change too and they got done awfully quick too so now i have doubts they even change the oil and the filter properly. I advice everyone not to take your vehicle to this shop anymore. A car is an everyday necessity and you have to depend on oil change shops to do a good job and not let you down. Please if you do decide to take your car in for anything keep your eyes open. I went back and made sure he change my filter and he was trying to play it off that it was not part of the oil change when it shows on the receipt that it got done. DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!!!!!
