Had a rounded oil drain plug but they wanted to take advantage and say they couldn't do it and said the only way to fix it was to replace entire oil pan complete lie $30 job instantly turns to over $100 people like that give us mechanics a bad name

I’m giving it one star because I have no choice. I went to get my car smog , my sensors were not clean so it didn’t pass. That was at a different place. I looked online and found j & a . They wouldn’t tell me how much over the phone. When I got there. They quoted me 75$ to just clean it. And I was told by many that it should not be more then 30$ total. . When I explained this to them. They walked away from me and left me standing there like an idiot and not because they were busy. But because it upset them . Then they kicked me out of the work area. Then because I didn’t have cash. They charged me more money. This place takes advantage of people. Be careful people.

The guys at the shop are very helpful and knowledgeable. I went in for a smog check and on a Saturday morning and was out within minutes. Also found out they do all types of work, electrical, car maintanence, mufflers etc.I highly recommend this shop.

After spending $150 to diagnose and $560 to fix the problem ,they wanted to charge me another $150 for reinspection . My car passed at another shop With no reinspection. Thank but no thanks. Won't come back or recommend.

Went in for a smog check and Jaime helped me out-- ran me through some additional things he noticed were wrong and what I could do to fix them aside from just passing my car. Decently priced (like all other places, be prepared to be charged a fee if you are paying with card, it is super common). Es super buena gente y listo para ayudar. Jaime fixed my car fast. I brought my mom's car that had been sitting unused for over a year. After two other estimates he had the best price quote; new alternator, battery, timing belt, oil change and other fluids, air conditioner, smog check, everything it needed to get back on the road again even new tires!! Great work and fast turnaround.

I paid $75 for a smog check. Which is overpriced. My car passed but I was told all I needed was to replace my intake with the original. Which I did but they still require me to pay again. Seriously? I’ll take my business elsewhere.

This shop was recommended by a good friend who knows about cars because I don’t know much but the basics. I went there with my Bronco and my Honda to get the smog done and they passed but Jaime Jr made a list of maintenance items that need attention and they gave me a quick estimate with no commitment they just want to make sure you know what needs to be done. Hands down a great place and both the Dad and Son are helpful and down to earth. I will continue to take my vehicles there and definitely recommend their shop to get work done right.
