After jump starting my car because the brake lights were oddly on without power to my car, I found Leo’s shop and decided to give him a try. I am so glad I did. He is a knowledgeable, hard working mechanic. Listened to all my concerns about the car. Hooked my battery up to a charger to see if it would hold a charge, replaced my battery when it did not hold a charge, and switched my faulty brake light sensor. We even got a warranty on the battery. Trustworthy shop.

LEO IS AN ANGEL! I will try to keep this brief because I could literally write a thesis on how amazing J & J Auto Repair is. My truck left this shop driving better than it did when I took it off the lot! The price for my emergeny wheel baring fix, was BEYOND FAIR and I have never met a mechanic more talented, honest, and amazing at what they do. My boyfriend and I were meeting in Fayetteville for a small vacation. I was an hour behind him when my truck started throwing danger codes that I am all too familiar with. Mind you, this was around 7pm. Luckily, my boyfriend found this amazing shop that was open until 10 pm. He called and Leo said bring it right in. We explained to him that we were only in town for two nights and had to leave at 8am on the last day we were here. Leo sprang to action, picked up the parts, and had the job done in record time. He even sent tons of detailed pictures and texts to let us know what he was doing and where he was in the process. This is something we have never seen a mechanic do in our lives. Leo is more than just an amazing mechanic too. He is, quite probably, the nicest man on earth. We must protect him, his family (fur family too), and his wonderful business for the rest of time. We are already planning to organize a time to travel the 2.5 hours back to Fayetteville to get more work done on our vehicles here. It is beyond worth it. Thank you so much Leo! Leo is an excellent mechanic! Most places will charge you $100-$150 just to diagnose your problem. Not only did Leo spend the extra time to find out what was wrong, he didn't charge me just for just doing the diagnostic. He even sent me photos of parts he bought, the invoice of how much they cost (so I knew what I was paying for), and a photo of the repair completed. I've never had a shop do that and really appreciated that level of transparency. I really love supporting small businesses when I can, but when you add this level of service on top of it, there's no question about who to call when that check engine light comes on.

Extremely rude! Also kind of sounds like an AI voice when they answer the phone. Couldn't even get to the point where we talked about my car and what it needed. Also he hung up on me. It's fine though I found a shop that hires real people and wants the business. Makes excuses and doesn't hold himself or his terrible customer service skills accountable. Would not recommend everyone.

Was very lucky to have come across Leo’s business when I knew my car was in trouble. My breaks had gone bad and actually was down to the metal 😬 He got me in next day, was very quick to let me know what I needed, and over all great service. Highly recommend!!

Remember hearing stories about family businesses built on a bedrock of honesty, integrity, and just good, solid work ethic? We very seldom see this level of excellence today, but just off the beaten path on a stretch of dirt road, it exists!! Leo and his wife are that family, they are at that legendary level of excellence. I had a water pump fail on my 2018 chevy silverado this afternoon when dropping my son at UofA, it's a Sunday - with tomorrow being Labor Day. I figured I'd be stuck up here with no options until Tuesday at least. But no..... I contacted Leo who said he could look at my truck today and possibly get it repaired!! Seriously? Admittedly, I was in disbelief. Well, Leo delivered in a huge way, I'm back on the road already and at a cost that I was very happy with. Leo even showed me my failed water pump and gave me a thorough explanation as to why it failed. Great, honest man right here. He's worthy of your trust and your business.

Leo was amazing! He is open during incredibly convenient hours, so I was able to get my truck towed to him after normal business hours. He was communicative, professional, diligent in his repairs, fixed my issues very quickly, and charged an incredibly reasonable price for his services. I had suspected that my vehicle needed a more expensive repair, so it would have been easy for him to take advantage of that, but instead he found that the real issue was much less involved, and he was completely transparent and honest about that. I would literally recommend him to anyone — truly a hidden gem of a mechanic! Thank you, Leo!

I took my vehicle to him to diagnose why the fan in my vehicle wouldn't stop running when I turned the engine off. He connected his scanner tool, checked under the hood, and quickly and accurately diagnosed the issue. He didn't charge me a diagnostics fee and even filled up my coolant for free! He's a very knowledgeable, reasonable, and trustworthy mechanic. I will be going to him from now on and recommend him to anyone who needs a mechanic.

Leo is an extremely reliable and skilled mechanic as well as person. He provided excellent thorough service on my car and has managed to fit me on his books last minute more than once. He is so transparent and kind, even sending pictures of the work he is doing during the process. (Completely outstanding!) he goes above and beyond using his knowledge and intuition to make sure you are getting the right work done for your car and doing it for a great price (not to mention getting it done so quickly)! I had an unfortunate experience with squirrels getting into my engine for a second time. I took it to Leo and was not disappointed! He squeezed me in among his other appointments and got my car fixed quickly, for a very reasonable price. He communicated the issues, cost, and timeline clearly. I had to make changes to our scheduled drop off timeline and he was happy to work with me on it. I don't leave a lot of reviews, but j&j auto is kind of hidden - if it weren't for the good reviews I saw already, I probably wouldn't have taken it here. That being said, it was a great experience and I think he deserves all the good reviews to keep bringing on business!
