On a long, hot, drive from Phoenix to Oregon in July, our A/C stopped blowing cold. After calling around to various unknown repair shops, the only one that offered for us to bring the car in right away was J & W. Rafael got to our car in about an hour and found a slow leak in the system. He recharged the system for us and gave me instructions to my Phoenix mechanic about the problem. we were on our way within 3 hours with cold A/C. I am very very pleased with the work he did and I felt the cost was quite reasonable. In fact, I feel we were lucky to find J&W automotive. I recommend J&W to anyone.

Very bad at business, the main boss man was unprofessional, untrusting asking if I needed any favors to hit him up. He also tried to SCAM me out of $1,000 saying that my cars engine wasn't working so therefore my car wasn't running, when in reality it was just my gasket needed to be changed. Very incompetent man. He said this and then once he realized my stepdad knew about cars he drove out the car. He lies to his customers.

Great honest mechanic. He let me in last minute a couple of times when I knew they were closing at 5 pm. And he gave me advice with my car problems and topped off my brake fluid free of charge. I like the honesty this man has very respectful.

First time to take my car here and I was pleasantly surprised when I called and was invited to bring my car in same day. Then the time Rafael took and his firm belief in explaining/educating his customer on what needs to be done by showing it, I am very happy to have chosen his shop and will bring my car back whenever I need to. He's personable and very knowledgeable, fair priced which matters to me also as I'm retired with fixed income. Mann! Let me tell you, Rafael is an honest and trustworthy Automotive Technician. I took my Corolla to Modesto Toyota and they quoted me $1700, the price felt and looked funny to replace the fuel pump. I called J & W and I explained to him what Modesto Toyota had quoted me and he quoted and charged me a fair and reasonable amount. He completed the work in a speedy and professional manner. J & W will be our go to shop from now on. Saved me an arm a leg in repair cost.

Scammers, called with a list of repairs I needed a quote for. I was told without bringing my truck down so that they would charge me for a diagnostic there was no way they'd give me a quote. Complete scammers do not recommend

Right from the gate Rafael was warm and welcoming which was reassuring when trusting your car with any auto mechanic. He got my car ready to go in a reasonably timed manner and was really knowledgeable. When I was getting ready to leave I mentioned that I had a cleaning a few days before and my car seat had a bolt that fell out. Rafael went right out and checked it and was able to fix it because of the safety aspect. It’s clear he cares about his work and reputation as well as his customers. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

I recently took my car in to have my compressor replaced, along with a few other things Rafael suggested. He explained every part of the repairs several times to make sure I understood what he needed to do and why. While my car was at the shop I had a family emergency out of town that was extremely time sensitive. I called to get an update to see how soon I could get my car back, and explained what was going on. Rafael worked late that night and early the next morning to get my car finished so I could get where I needed to go as soon as possible. Unlike most shops, he followed up about a week later to check that everything was working properly. Absolutely recommend J & W for any automotive repairs. I won’t take my car anywhere else.

I owe J & W Automobile so many props! My ex did a number on my electrical system connecting the back breaks & Rafael & his team figured it out for me so quick! They communicated with me on the issue & kept in contact with me on how long it was going to take. I appreciate them so much for figuring it out for me since I have a newborn & a 2 1/2 year old so a car is much needed! All that he did on my car was reasonably priced & I appreciate that so much! From now on Rafael will definitely be my go to mechanic, I thank him more than he will ever know!!
