I would give Ben & John 500 stars if I could. I have had two different vehicles serviced at Japanese Auto regularly and wouldn't want to take them anywhere else. They have old school values where the customer always comes first. I called 5 mins before they closed with what turned out to be a fairly serious problem. Ben was patient and listened to my concerns. Even though he was overwhelmed and a bit shorthanded this week he told me he didn't want me to wait and just to bring it over the next day so he could check it out. Took it over this morning and he quickly diagnosed the problem and got it right in for the repair. He was concerned that i would have to rent a car and absob the extra cost and I picked it up the same night. I am sure he can't always give this level of service but these two Gentlemen really care and run the business with expertise and integrity. You can't possibly go wrong.

I was advised to use Japanese auto by a few clients of mine and I’m so happy I did! I have a 2017 wrangler and every single jeep dealership in town was a month backed up for service. As this is my daily driver I didn’t have that kind of time. Marcus gave me a basic quote over the phone, towed my jeep, and got the work done in a few days WAY under what the quote was for! I’m extremely pleased with the work, timelines and professionalism. I can’t recommend them enough.

There service is prompt and friendly. They've always been really honest. When I've asked about repairs they've been very honest if the repair is needed or not. Prices are reasonable too. I've only had to go back once because some bolts on a repair started to loosen on my exhaust. It was an issue that no other mechanic could fix. They did fix it! And it stayed fixed.

This company is amazing!! Honest, thorough, and incredible mechanics all at a more than fair price. My husband and I have been taking our cars to Japanese Auto Repair for over 18 years. I started going here a few years ago when business was not busy. Ben took care of all my auto repair needs. Since the business has become busier I have had issues. Had a complete brake job done which cost over $500 and was never right. The first time I took it back, they said it was a bad caliper they missed. So, I paid another $250. Got home and brakes were even worse. Took. It back again and they said they had to do some adjustments. Got home again and it was still wrong! I’m sorry to say I will not be returning for repairs. I had a new shop complete repairs today and breaks are great.!Good luck with your business Ben

Not my real name on email it is Frank Hubler. This is just a back up for junk email. I took our car into these guys last week for an oil leak. Talked to a guy named Ronny and very easy going to talk to. I used to work on cars, but no tools and getting a bit to old for these new models and I just can not physically do it any longer. Our valve cover gasket on the rear passenger side was leaking. He got back to me same day I dropped it off for the appointment. He did both valve cover gaskets for 640-650ish. He worked all the next day on it, it gave him a bad day...sorry Ronny lol. Anyway, he calls me next day says it's ready and that when he pulled the valve covers off oil went all over the serpentine belt and it was squealing like hell. Now any other mechanic would have called and said do you want a new belt or let it screech?...that is how most operate these days. So he just threw a new serpentine on and cut the cost on labor to make sure it came out to his original estimate. WHO DOES THAT ANYMORE? NO ONE and it's very rare to find. I let it sit a day or so to let the sealant cement then took it for a drive on Sunday..so far so good. Friendly folks and they don't RIP YOU OFF. So he has our business from now on and my family and anyone else who asks me if I know an honest mechanic that will not overcharge. I will send them to Japanese Auto Repair. Ronny was great to deal with. Sincerely, Frank H Update: Talked to Ben on the phone had another oil leak (Mind you this has 218,000 miles on it and runs like brand new). This time it was a stripped bolt on the timing chain retention cover. Took it in and got a call it was all done next day. 87 bucks. They did not even charge a full hour which most do. Anywhere else it probably would have been 187 bucks with minimal one hour charge. So far so good again. Been driving about 2 weeks and all is well. I can not say enough about these guys and am so glad I found them. Great receptionists and great mechanics. This is where my car will go for good for every major repair period. Kudos to you all... Been going to Japanese Auto Repair for years and it's still the best. Ronny has done excellent work on my Honda, and the entire staff is fantastic, including office staff. Never had any issues. I feel confident taking my car here for maintenance and repairs because I know I'm getting the best service for the best prices. They're fair and they never bother you with extra stuff you don't need -- always transparent and happy to answer any questions and concerns. They're kind, communicative, knowledgeable, professional and fast. Raises the bar immensely and beats any auto repair chain. They've gotten me back on the road safely every time and I'll continue to take my business here.

Had a sinking feeling that my 2018 Mazda3 was overdue for a brake job. A coworker recommended Japanese Auto Repair. After calling to schedule an appointment and explain what was going on, Ronny was able to squeeze me in the same week. Wanted to send my van over for work to be done. Called on Monday, and the receptionist couldn’t have sounded more uninterested to take the call. I had some questions, wanted my van towed to the shop, and wanted to speak to a tech beforehand. She quickly tried to end the call by saying someone would call back. She didn’t ask for a name or number. When I asked if she wanted that, she said “ok”. I was told I’d receive a call back on Monday, and heard nothing. Called before the end of the day and was assured someone would call before the end of the day. Nothing. I called back Tuesday, and explained that I want to have my van towed to the shop, but had questions beforehand. She once again assured someone would call, and never received a call back. Rude receptionist, and total lack of interest in earning the business of a family who owns multiple Toyota vehicles. Oh well…I tried to support local business, but at least the dealership will call me back.
