IF I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STAR, I WOULD GIVE THEM. THESE PEOPLE ARE HORRIBLE TO DEAL WITH; THEY CHARGED ME $6,800 FOR TOWING AND RAIDER CHANGE. THE RAIDER ONLY WAS $3,3100 AND CHARGED A $1,600 FOR LESS 10 MILES OF TOWING. THE PEOPLE YOU ARE DEALING WITH ARE NOT IN THE SHOP AND HAVE NO IDEA OF WHAT’S GOING ON IN THE SHOP. THERE ARE ONLY TWO TECHNICIANS AT THE SHOP, ONE WORKING EACH SHIFT, AND THE GUY ON THE PHONE WILL LIE TO YOU SO MANY TIMES. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

If I could give a -10 star review for this business, I would absolute garbage. They never answer the phones and when you call and they do answer them they’ll tell you they’ll call you back. THEY NEVER CALL YOU BACK!!! They tell you somebody’s gonna be there nobody’s there it’s ridiculous. Do not use this company. Complete scam. I don’t know how they’re still in business.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Extra stars are needed for the outstanding service I received!!!!!! The urgent matter was that the engine on my truck (Kenworth) was running hot due to the fan not working properly. JB came through for my business in a huge way! He was knowledgeable, quick, but very thorough!!! From our trucking company (GFXI LLC) to yours- thanks so much for your excellent skills and all your hard work!!!!

James at JB Heavy Duty Towing went above and beyond!! Drivers truck turned off coming down i80. Thought it was out of fuel sucking air. Jacob dispatched a tech to come help. From getting parts to priming the motor and keeping the batteries charged, the tech was there every step of the way... Compared to other local companies, they where by far the least expensive and the most knowledgeable! Big thanks to Jacob and his team for getting us up and running again!

These people don't answer the phone unless they think they're getting a job. They will show up and waste your time and not even have the right equipment and then damage your property with little consideration on fixing it and avoid you; showing up for an explanation at the door or via phone. Definition of crud here. Everyone should be aware and rid communities of these businesses.

If I could give negative stars I would! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Biggest scammers I’ve ever used! I paid $1400 to get towed 50 miles after they told me $700. Went back on their word and told me in order to drop my truck I would have to pay $1400. Than, after I paid they gave me the wrong invoice with another company information and blocked my number. Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammers! Get everything in writing before hand.

We ordered to tow our semi truck from Joliet to Lemont and asked them to give us 30 mins notice so we could send our guy to open the yard for towing truck. They didn’t provide any updates and called when they were 15 mins away. Our guy arrived in 30 mins and called the towing guy. Driver said there is someone else paying more, that’s why he held without saying anything. As a professional towing company we were expecting a lot more from these guys. The driver said he doesn’t care about reputation and all he cares money. Even though we asked to give 30 mins heads up, nobody updated us. The driver said he can jump from client to client if they willing to pay too dollar. Client satisfaction is the last thing he cares.

We called January 31st to inquire about a tow for two semi trucks and were told the rate was $195 per truck. Didn't specify at the time that it was per hour. We scheduled for both trucks to be picked up at 7am the next morning. My business partner called at 7am Tuesday morning to see if they picked up the trucks and got no answer. After attempting to contact them with no answer twice, I had to drive to the location to find out why we couldn't speak to anyone. While there I asked if the truck had been dropped and the dispatch employee told me that it was currently being dropped at the delivery address. I find out this was not true, it was not picked up until late that evening according to the mechanic shop owner. This caused a huge inconvience for the mechanic shop, because it caused an issue for the neighboring company and they still hadn't picked it up. (Their dog almost bit me inside the office, trying to attack) Dispatcher told us that both trucks would be delivered that day. We called multiple times between Tuesday and Wednesday with no answer or return call until Wednesday on two of their different numbers. My business partner spoke to them and they supposedly couldn't delivered the second truck, because the busines was closed so they took the truck to their yard to store until the next day. We had no knowledge of any of this information at that time and didn't know where they were storing over $200,000 worth of our equipment, because they did not communicate with us at all. The only reason we were able to find out any of what was going on was through information we received from the mechanic. We called several more times Thursday morning and still didn't get an answer. We had no clue what was going on. Finally, I was able to speak to dispatch and the owner. The owner told me the truck would delivered today (Thursday). His exact words were "Your truck will be delivered today. If not, then I will tow both trucks for free. That's how confident I am that it will be delivered today". He also told me he would take payment over the phone once the truck was delivered. We waited. Time went by with no call. We finally get a text message at 12:33am Friday morning from the driver that says "Hey boss this is Mike with heavy duty towing". After checking call logs and text messages within our phone software, the driver called 7 times after hours. ALL calls well after midnight. Still unaware of delivery since his text message after hours was not detailed. First thing this morning, the mechanic foreman at the delivery address called informing us that both semi truck doors were locked and there was no key. Video shows delivery at 12:45am today while they were closed. He expressed that the truck needed to be moved, because the tow driver dropped it in an undesirable spot. We tried to contact the tow company twice (no answer). So my business partner had to drive an hour to the shop to drop off the spare key. At 12:21pm today, twelve hours later, dispatch called to collect payment. He quoted us $998. After expressing our dissatisfaction with the entire situation. We were offered no resolution for the missing key, no apology for the lies about delivery times or lack of communication. They costs us time and thousands of dollars we can't get back. They said they don't do discounts, even though we were promised it would be free if it wasn't delivered at the promised time. (We didn't actual expect a free tow) They did not take responsibility for any of the issues and blamed our company for them not contacting us until after hours when the business is closed. We asked to speak with the owner who assured us service satisfaction previously. After going back and forth with dispatch on several phone calls and speaking with some woman, we were told the bill is now $1400 plus and after they "talked about it", now all the sudden there is a 20% discount and the bill is $1,038. We asked for an invoice and to speak with the owner. At this time we have still not resolved the issue. No invoice, no key, no actual discount, no owner conversation. Nothing.

This company is a complete scam!!! I was quoted $125 an hour and he job took all of 45 minutes and I was charged $450. The tow truck driver said they charge a 3 hour minimum when dispatch had no clue what I was referring to when I called them back. She placed me on hold and then said “oh it’s typically a 3 hour job”. 3 hours at $125 still doesn’t equal $450!!!!! She said it would take the driver an additional 30 minutes to unload my truck which was another lie as it took him 2 minutes to let my truck down!!!! I will never use this company again, they need to be shut down for fraudulent activity!!! Update I’ve been calling and texting to get an invoice of these charges and they won’t answer the phone and provided my driver with no invoice!!!

Do not trust the price $125 per hour. Liars. When you call them, you will get professional sounding guy and he will tell you that it's $125/hour or $250 for two and so on. I got the guy who has no idea how to hook up the truck and get the brakes released. It took him 2 hours to hook up my truck. ( now I've realized he was just milking for time). Once job is done you finding out that it was 3 hour minimum , $75 fuel charge and admin fees. So 2 hour job turn into 4. And planed $250 turned in to $450. And professional guy on the phone turned into a hole. I have phone recording of your quote so no point of denying. Stay away from them

Would give 0 starts if I could. They don’t take credit card payments over the phone. Unprofessional. Do not use them if you plan on leaving anytime soon! Use someone else. Currently holding equipment hostage because his bank takes forever to process a payment he requested. Was shown his special payment pending to his bank account. Still wasn’t good enough. Better for you now cupcake ?

Absolutely terrible experience. I booked transport services and they didn’t show up at all. No call, no update, nothing. After trying multiple times to get in touch, I finally reached someone — only to find out he was literally half asleep in bed. Completely unprofessional and unreliable. Do yourself a favor and book with someone else.
