Picked up a nail in my tire which was losing air pretty fast. Stop in to Mickeys to see if they could fix it for me as I was in the middle of a busy work day. The owner Mike got me in and out of there in 15 minutes even though they had repairs going on for cars in every bay. More then a fair price, didn’t try and sell me new tires or say it couldn’t be fixed. In fact told me the repair had a warranty as long as I had the tire. Super impressed, will be using them again.

Bottom line is I'm the last person to go online and write a bad review on a company because my feelings are hurt. As a matter of fact, this is my first bad review. I was given a price for what I needed done and when I went to pick up my car, they added parts to my vehicle without my permission and charged me more money. When I asked why they didn't ask my permission, I was told that most of there clients usually spend thousands of dollars and don't mind when they make certain decisions to make the vehicle safer. I'm all for making the vehicle safer but why is anyone doing anything to my vehicle without talking to me first is my problem. When I pointed this out, the man said we could take the parts off if you want. Why did you put parts on my car without my permission in the first place. It doesn't matter to me that everyone else allows it. I would have paid the extra money if I was asked. They did a great job on what I asked to be done and I paid extra for the parts I didn't ask for because I didn't want them to take my vehicle back into there garage and do who knows what to my vehicle. They could of had my business forever but now they won't and I will forever let anyone who ask, don't do business with them.

First time at Mickey's at the suggestion of my brother, a long-time customer. I found there was something hanging off under my 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander. Called to make an appointment and was able to get in quickly. I was in and out in under 30 minutes! Called to the desk that my vehicle was ready and was told that it was part of the exhaust housing where the bolts had eroded. He said that the exhaust itself was fine, so no need to replace anything at this time. They just wired everything back up in place and said "No Charge" WHAAAAT? Never in all my years with any of my vehicles have I heard those words from a service station! They thanked ME for coming in! So nice. So kind. No wonder my brother raves about them! Being new to the area, I appreciated the recommendation and will look no further for a mechanic! (My other vehicle is a 2009 Honda Pilot who needs a little TLC from time to time) I will definitely be back and jump on the rave wagon!! How good is Mickey’s? I’ll tell you how good Mickey’s is. I’m still in the parking lot and I can’t leave yet because the only thing on my mind is to write this review. I never write reviews for anything but today is a first. It’s a shame google won’t let me give Mickey’s 7 stars. You may ask yourself why I wouldn’t ask for 6 stars, but that’s because 6 stars isn’t enough when it came to my experience at mickeys. A little bit of context: for the past couple of months I had a tire that was giving me all sorts of problems. I had taken my car to 2 shops before this and both shops insisted that I replace the whole tire, when in reality I knew that the tire could easily be fixed instead of replaced. I had a buddy of mine recommend Mickey’s so I figured 3rd times a charm hopefully. Made a 2PM appointment and planned my day. I live 30 minutes away but my friend assured me mickeys would get me right. I show up at 2PM right on time. Man behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer. I explain the situation and he tell’s me to have a seat and they’ll take a look at it. Now, the previous 2 places I went to took at least and hour looking at my tire and then insisted that they couldn’t fix it and the tire would need to be replaced, but not Mickey’s. Mickey’s wasn’t playing any games today. At 2:18 the man behind the counter let me know my car was all good to go, and told me the tire had been fixed. When he told me the price I couldn’t believe how fair it was. I almost had to do a double take. It was almost too good to be true. When I got in my car, I checked the PSI on my tires and they were perfection. Now the real test, seeing what my PSI would be when I got home. This particular tire would lose about 2 PSI every time I drove it. When I got out of the shop all my tires had a PSI of 38. When I got home, the tire that had a problem had a PSI of 39. My tire was no longer losing air, but now gaining air as I drove. All jokes aside I couldn’t recommend a better place. If I ever have a problem with my car ever again, there’s only one place I’m taking it. And that’s Mickey’s.

This was from a while ago. Mickeys tire & service is a great place and a good fella named Ken or Kent apologies if I got it wrong. However, helped me when no other tire shops such as belle tire, Firestone , and Pepboys can. All I needed was to get my tire patch from a long screw/nail. He told me they’ll take care of me and was informed my tires were nearing its end due to dry rotting and cracking. Great service here !

Honest shop- thats hard to find. coming to them for second opinions kept me from wasting money a few times on repairs i didnt need, and they give me good insight on what I do need, like helping to choose my tires on a Sprinter Dually. They took care of all 6 of my tires even though my vehicle didnt fit in the bay and they had to leave the bay door open in the cold. These guys are top notch, reasonably priced and they dont waste your time, thats important. In Joliet, you cant beat Mickeys. They are full service btw, not just tires.

Went to Mickey's for 4 new tires. Mike was extremely helpful helping pick out the right tires that I needed. When doing the alignment they noticed a problem that needed immediate attention. Mike went out of his way to locate the part that was needed to get my car back to me as quickly as possible. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly and explained what was going on. Mike @mickeys is a stand up gentleman! His coworkers Ken and there crew are well trained bay masters.. Mickey's is the only repair shop that I will allowed to even open the hood on my vehicles! If you want a cheap job? Then go to a knockoff mechanic shop, just let me tell you though, I tried that, thinking that I could save a buck. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! The repairs, the horrible job they done, left me with repairs that cost double the amount... So remember you get exactly what you pay for! Some people have to learn that the hard way! hopefully you don't have to, since I already learned that lesson for you, so with that being said and by you reading my review? It's a no-brainer, take your vehicle to Mickey's and you're never going to have to worry about that again ,Mike and his entire crew have NEVER done me wrong, EVER! Quality work, at a quality price, backed by what I seem to think are the best hands in the business, HANDS DOWN nothing but peace of mind, quality work, delivered by very down to earth gentleman who know what they're doing!
