Groupon fine print oil change is a scam. He just charges for an extra court and to get rid of your old oil before you know it u paid 60 for what u would have paid 50 at Walmart

Great service and great people. Took my challenger rt there and was very pleased with the check over. They even let me check the car myself to see what was going on with it. Definitely coming back because of the people. Thank you.

DON'T BUY GROUPON FOR THIS PLACE!!! Bought a Groupon deal for this business. I called to make an appointment and the owner told me that his shop was fully booked for the next two months. So I made an appointment and waited for two months. Then during the week before my appointment, I called to confirm my appointment. The owner told me my appointment was canceled because I didn't call to confirm on the Monday of that week. He told me the next availability time for me will be 4 months later. He makes people to make an appointment so ahead of time and cancels it on his terms. Then he wanted . Basically he makes it impossible for me to redeem my Groupon. He also lied to me. He gave me appointment for 2PM on Saturday, 2 months later he told me the shop closed at 2PM on Saturdays. Very dishonest business owner. People should be careful with this place. Not trustworthy for your cars and your safety!!!

Was on a road trip from LA back to where I live in Yucca Valley by Joshua Tree and my 97 Chevy Camaro was overheating and by a stroke of luck came across JCW. Needed a intake manifold gasket, coolant pipe, as well as other parts that weren't noticed til upon further inspection... Was obviously crushed but it comes with having an older car. I explained my situation to the receptionists Lisa and Megan and they were completely understanding. Even helped lower the initial cost which I didn't expect. They drove me back and forth to a local crummy hotel I unfortunately picked but that will be for another review.. (All 8 Motel lol) Overall this business is totally amazing!! Certainly have them all over for dinner! Lol.. maybe after COVID haha ;)

I found this repair shop merely by chance. On my way to Azusa, California to visit our hospitlaized son at City of Hope Hospital, for some unfortunate reason, our car stalled a few minutes prior to our last exit from freeway 210 West. While waiting for the AAA tow truck, i started calling all nearby car repair shops. That was when i saw the shop’s name on Google. They told me to bring my car to their place right away. Knowing that we came all the way from Sam Diego and that our way of coming back was the car that broke down, they immediately diagnosed the car’s problem until they pinpointed the core of the problem. They prioritized fixing my car each time showing and explaining to me what need to be done. I will highly recommend them to anyone that maybe in the area if they ran into a problem. Good job JCW. Oh by the way, the lady that works in the front desk is really very helpful and caring

I thought this place was great. The guy in charge was nice and not pushy at all. He helped me work with the ford dealership (because ford service is awful 80% of the time) on what could updated for free. Plus, got a great deal off of groupon.

This store has very low oil change price on Groupon ($18 for conventional and $35 for full synthetic). After I purchased Groupon deal and called for appointment, I was told the disposal fee/tax $14.30, which is over 40% than what I paid to Groupon. I have filed complaint to Groupon and got my money back from Groupon. Despite Groupon website does say tax/disposal fee not included, but be careful about this kind of sneaky store.

Groupon was a great value. Make sure you call to confirm the oil you need & estimate of total price. They don't do walk-ins or take appt for Thursdays but fit me in via appt. They were upfront it was an additional $14.34. No credit card fees. 1 rceptionist didn't wear a mask, the other wore one when in close contact.

I have been there twice now and both times I have had great experiences. Not only is all of the staff so friendly, but they are very knowledgable. They also take the time to talk to you about what is wrong with your car. The prices were great. The service is great and very fast. I highly recommend JCW auto repair.

Judd, the shop owner knows his stuff. Great mechanic. The other mechanics in the shop are pretty awesome too. Beware of their secretary Camille who sits at the front desk and lords over the telephones. Likes to estimate high for costs and will last minute overcharge you without a second thought. Needs to work on communication. Other than the old guy, very solid shop.

I purchased a oil change Groupon for $18 few days ago. Read the terms and saw disposal and taxes extra. Taxes in my area are abut 10% and shops usually charge $5 for used oil disposal. So, another $7 is still not a bad deal. But, nooo, not so fast amigo. They charged me $21 on top of $18 I paid to groupon. I have my bad experiences with other groupon deals but thisone just takes the cake. Never ever again I am stepping foot into this dump,

JCW Auto Repair is a great place to service your car. Excellent customer service!! I went in there to get new brakes for my vehicle, little did I know I didn't even need new brake pads. They showed me the brake pads that were already on there and explained that I didn't need new ones. Other places would have taken my money and not say anything. They didn't charge me a dime. They were very fast and quick. I highly recommend them to anyone out there who is looking to get work done on their car!!!

Friendly staff who explained all the work that was done as well as checking for anything that needed to be done. Lucky for me, after the oil change, I was good to go. Their honesty goes a long way. I also like having to make an appointment, so there is no wasted time waiting to get your work finished. This is a full service auto repair shop that I feel is reasonable and professional.

Let me tell you about JCW Auto Repair. On 8/9/2024 I was traveling from Berkeley CA after visiting my son, daughter in law and toddler grandson back to my home in north coastal San Diego. I had my 5 month old Corgi puppy with me, (she was a champ the entire trip). I noticed during the grapevine approaching the LA National Forrest the engine seemed to be working hard. I saw freeway signs recommending drivers turn off their AC during the steep grades and incline and I did so. Google maps redirected me to go through Pasadena to SD vs LA as LA rush hour traffic was slammed on Friday. Travel slowed considerably and I noticed my temperature gauge starting to rise in the stop and go traffic. I turned off the AC again, it was 107 degrees outside. Across the freeway from me was a Subaru car dealership, but it was now 5:01 and I know the service dept would be closed. I took the very next exit as I could see it was an industrial area and there had to be something there. I pulled over in some shade to let the car temp gauge to cool down. I saw the car repair shops were all closed. I thought about calling AAA, but what could they do other than tow me? I called my brother in law in SD, he had me pop the hood and check the coolant which was almost empty. He directed me to drive a few miles just west of my location to an O'Reilly auto parts store and he would coach me how to add the coolant. I started to drive about a block and found JCW Auto repair with the bay doors still open. It was clear everyone was closing up but stayed to help me. Jed immediately went to work, I popped the hood, he could smell the radiator heat. Jed immediately noticed my radiator cap was broken. I explained I had taken my Subaru to the dealership two days prior to my road trip to have the oil changed, tires rotated and the fluids all checked. Jed said the service department should have caught this broken radiator cap. Two jugs of coolant. Jed tried to find a used radiator cap that would work, he finally took one off his own personal vehicle that fit my Subaru. Jed cautioned me to drive the rest of the way to SD at normal speeds with no AC. It was blazing hot out there. He even gave me a jug of water if the temp gauge started to rise again and explained do not open the cap until it cools down. Jed seemed genuinely concerned and worried but felt I should be able to make it to San Diego if I take it easy. I asked Jed how much I owed him and Jed told me to give him whatever I thought was right. I am a widow traveling alone, I am beyond grateful for Jed dropping what he was doing to take care of me and get me on my way. He had along day at work and was ready to go home. Jed really saved me and my little puppy. He saved me an expensive repair bill or even my car breaking down on the freeway. I shudder at the danger of that. My sons and my family are exceptionally grateful too. It should be noted when I got to San Clemente I turned the AC on and the temperature gauge never moved from the middle center line. It was so chilly in the cabin my fingers and feet were numb with cold air. I would definitely, most assuredly take my vehicles to JCW Auto repair for all my service needs and might even drive to Azusa from SD for such quality excellence in service. This is the America I grew up in, where there was honesty, integrity and high moral character among our car mechanic professionals, where a handshake was considered to have as much value associated with it as a man giving his word of honor. JCW is exceptional car service care. Jed and his crew are consummate professionals. Again my profound heartfelt thanks

I drove the extra mile to take advantage of the Groupon on the breaks. Instead of the deal I paid 400 for new drums. I wish I had not!! My car started making screeching noise so I took it back! They were nice but didn’t even look at the car cause it didn’t make noise in front of them. Long story short they assumed me I was good and probably it was the front. Well yesterday I had my “home” shop do a repair and asked them to check the front breaks. They that and checked the rear and probably was the REAR!! Bunch of dust making it make that sound. JCW should have been able to solve that but they didn’t even look. And I figured maybe it was the front cause I just replaced them. Well 5 Speed took care of the horrible sound by cleaning out the drums. No more problems with that.

Had a groupon for full synthetic pil change for 33 bucks, was told I need to pay a 14 dollar disposal fee. Came out to be 47 bucks which was about right. Pretty good price in my book. Service was quick, easy and painless. Waiting area has a big flat screen, water machine, coffee and tissues. Was told I had some lights that needed replacing, it let me know that they had my back when it came to the support of my car. All in all, would come back again
