Learn from our mistake, if you have a choice DO NOT let your vehicle get towed here. We were in an accident and were having the car towed to a different auto body shop. Someone claiming to be from our insurance company called said that they switched it and were now going to tow the vehicle to SGV Auto Center. This insurance rep even had our claim number. Turns out, that was a scam. The person claiming to be an insurance rep was actually someone from Roadside Dispatch Towing, who decided to change up the destination to SGV Auto Center without consulting the insurance company. Members of both companies must be working together to get business. Also, once the car was here at this shop, we were also scammed into signing papers that were unnecessary and were lied to, ultimately costing us a few hundred dollars. Do not have your vehicle towed here after an accident, even if someone who claims to be from your insurance company calls to confirm it. It is a scam unfortunately. Please learn from our mistakes.

SCAM. They operate a towing scam to get your vehicle to their shop. If your car ends up here MOVE IT. Don’t trust anything they say, don’t sign anything. They also claimed to have torn down my vehicle (more charges) in order to get my estimate. I went to the auto body to see my car after the estimate and supposed tear down was performed and my car was completely in tact. Truly the worst experience. If you end up here it’s work the second tow to get your car out.

Honestly i can't say nothing but great things about SGV auto center ! anything and everything i needed fixed in my car was great ! i got a new paint job and i can't believe how beautiful and shinny my car was left ! this place is great ! if i can leave 10 stars i would definitely recommend customer service is great and i love how fast and very attentive the staff is thank you so much to SGV my car drives like new and looks so beautiful i always get compliments on my car color 💅🏽

Art and his crew rock the world when it comes to auto body work. I had some major damage on the front end and door and he gave me a fair estimate and even offered to take me home when I dropped off the car. Who offers that anymore? A person who cares about his business, that's who. He kept in touch during the week by sending me pictures of what they were doing to my car and the advancement they were making. No extra charges and it looked wonderful when I went to pick it up. Art is absolutely the most kind man. Always polite, personable and professional. Offers a drink or soda both times I was there. The building is so clean and comfortable if you need to wait. It has a better recliner sofa than I do in my house. I could not be more pleased about the service he offered and delivered. He even sends you home with a goodie bag and a super clean car. Thank you Art and the rest of your employees.

BEWARE OF SCAM. My car was towed here after an accident by a tow truck that was not provided by my insurance company. How they got my information is unknown and will be investigated. The tow company informed us that the location for the tow had changed to SGV Auto Center. This was untrue and we unfortunately fell for it. The shop held my car for over a week and charged absurd fees ($145 per day)for storage whilst giving my insurance company the runaround every time they tried to retrieve the car. After 1 week, the fees were over $1k. Demanding cash only to release the car to the appropriate tow company is absurd. They just hold the car hostage as long as they can for a big payout. My car started fine before being taken here and now the engine harness is damaged, so the car will not turn on. Do NOT let your car be taken here. If you do fall for this scam, try to get it out ASAP or else you're just racking up fees. Report this place if you've had a similar circumstance.

Art is the Man of his words. You won't be disappointed. There's many body shops around but to find a trusted and reliable one is always a challenge and you don't really know until you deal with one. I think reviews are the strongest tool to gauge one. My car was on a collision, after speaking to Art I felt comfortable towing my car to his shop. Art was super professional and courteous, not only resolved the issues with insurance company but he kept me up to date with daily progress and finally got me the results I was hoping for. I highly recommend SGV Auto center for all your auto body work. They stay on top of paperwork and have the most qualified technicians to work on your vehicle. I found this shop randomly and took my car for repair and service. I’m so happy with their service so I decided to to leave my second review. To find a body shop where you feel comfort is a big deal. I took my car to a couple of places before I decided to use SGV Auto Center. Needless to say, I appreciate their professionalism, efficiency, and hard work. My car looks fantastic!! They provided me with a reasonable quote and got my car back in a reasonable time. I have a hard time trusting “just anyone” with my car- I’m happy I did my research! This is the BEST EVER car repair experience! Not only are their jobs very professional but also how they care about customers. They repaired my car like brand new and they even washed it and put tire dressing after the repair. Also, the PRICE IS VERY COMPETENT and fair. Moreover, they can provide estimate from pictures and reply very fast. I was able to get an estimate in just a few minutes and when I brought my car to the shop they honored the estimate without hassles. It made the whole process VERY EASY and SAVED me a lot of time. The owner Art and his business are very reliable, honest and courteous to his customers. He kept communicating on the repair status and send me pictures during the repair processes. They got all 5 Stars’ review for a reason!!! Will definitely keep coming here should I need another car repair! SGV body shop gives the worst customer service experience ever, more like a nightmare. These guys have no clue what customer service means just as they don't know what "Time is money" means. The collision was on September the 21st and got the car back on November the 12th, even though the insurance paid on time both times because these guys kept finding "new things". We kept calling the shop asking about the car and the shop kept telling us all sort of BS excuses.. The owner, a guy by the name of Art was a big coward, he never showed his face to my wife when she went to the place to ask about the car.. And last but not least these guys change the 2 rear tires for old ones. The rear left tire was damaged after the accident and the insurance paid for the new one.. Bottom line I had to buy 2 new tires. Here are some pictures of the collision you will see how bad the accident was and the tires. Last but not least I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOP UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

If you want to be screwed up take it to this place. This is my car after I picked up. Same day the part flew away on the freeway And never got fixed and my door was loose too I have to fix it myself Highly not recommend this place. Worst of worst body shop in town.

I cannot say enough great things about SVG Auto Center in Azusa. From the day of my accident on 12/5/2025 all the way through dealing with the tow yard and everything after, Art has been incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive. While my so-called “top notch” Allstate insurance was refusing to provide a rental and even expected me to pay additional out-of-pocket costs, Art stepped in and helped put me in a rental so I wouldn’t be stranded. If it had been left up to my insurance company, I honestly would have had to figure out how to get from Azusa all the way back home to San Bernardino on my own; Even if it meant walking all the way there. From the very beginning, I was extremely impressed by the quality of customer service provided by Art , staff and even up to the tow truck driver. All were professional, respectful, and genuinely cared about helping during a very stressful moment. Art went above and beyond in ways my own insurance company did not. He took the time to explain things, guide me through the process, and make sure I understood my options every step of the way. During a stressful time after an accident, having someone who genuinely cares makes all the difference. What really stands out to me is that even months after my accident on 12/5/2025, Art still calls to check on how I’m doing. That level of care is rare these days. Honestly, that’s something even some family members don’t take the time to do, and it truly shows how much he cares about the people he helps.
