While driving from Albuquerque to Orlando, my Ford 4.6 shot a spark plug out of the cylinder head while passing through Wichita Falls at 4:30PM on a Friday. I first took it to a Firestone who recommended Jim (the II I believe). I left my car with him, expecting that I was going to be in town until at least Sunday. I got a call on Saturday morning that he installed the helicoil into the night before, and I was back on the road by 11:30. I completed the remaining 1200 miles of my road trip without incident. Jim/James went wayyy beyond my expectations, and I am immensely thankful that he took the initiative to help me out. If I was in Wichita Falls, taking my car to him would be an easy choice.

Very nice and helpful. Car started making noise on my way to Dallas. Stopped at a couple of places who said they didn't have time to look at it since it was closing time. He took the time to listen to it and explain what was wrong, the cost and how soon it needed to be fixed. Got it fixed the next day in Dallas, but I would definitely have let them do it if I planned to stay in Wichita Falls.

I think they got good review that's why they have so many cars in there garage. They don't have any time for new customer. If you're looking something quick or In-N-Out service this is not the place you want to go.

On the last day on a very long cross country road trip when our check engine came on through Wichita Falls and our car started making a strange sound. Nervous that it could be something that could leave us stranded, we pulled into Jim's Garage. James greeted me and asked how he could help, I told him the situation and he said although he was extremely busy, he would come out and take a look. After doing a quick a physical check and running a diagnostic, he determined our engine was burning through oil more than it should. We will have to work with our Hyundai Dealer to resolve some bigger issues but he got it up and running enough to make it back home. I cannot thank James and his crew enough as they did not have to show so much care and thoughtfulness to someone just driving through. Although I may not be in the area again I hope this review serves as an example of the excellent service and knowledge of the staff here. Me, my girlfriend, and our little 10lb pomeranian can not thank Jim's Garage enough.
